The document discusses Global Entrepreneurs (GE), a program that connects students with internship opportunities at startups. It notes that GE has not grown significantly in the last 5 years and its products have not evolved with the current business economy. It provides tips on how to position GE to students, focusing on professional development opportunities, and to startups, highlighting the international talent and leadership experience they can offer interns. The document also gives a 9-step plan for making GE programs grow exponentially, including setting goals, finding university partners, and engaging alumni.

Technology is a growing industry and it is shifting every aspect of our society. Now more than ever, this industry requires a workforce that is fully diverse and inclusive across all its functions. Findings reveal that there is far less students enrolling in STEM disciplines than required by the labor market and the numbers are even lower for students from underrepresented communities. Our goal is to increase the rate of enrolment in STEM disciplines by engaging girls from minority groups who drop out of STEM courses because they see it as too hard or irrelevant for their careers.
This month we have the honor of hosting 2 speakers; Danny Miller and John Murn. Together, they will be sharing different perspectives on foreigner employability in Taiwan.
Danny Miller is currently the Branch Manager of Pagoda Projects in Taipei: a company specialising in bringing International Students to Greater China, Vietnam and Mexico for internships and long-term Placements. He previously worked as the Operations manager of the British Chamber of Commerce in Southwest China (Chengdu+Chongqing). In the evenings Daniel is a typical brit: playing football, strumming a guitar badly and drinking beer. He is also a partner of All Hands and assists John Murn as much as he can.
John Murn is a marketing professional whose career trajectory has flowed from copywriting into digital strategy. John fills his daytime hours working in mobile adtech and by nights he's working on a new professional platform for Taiwan, All Hands. Likes: baseball, books, cats, beer. Dislikes: bad drivers.

This is a template for LCs to use for info sessions. They should be customized according to LC realities, and there are with links to additional resources as well as some suggested points to elaborate on in the slide "comments" throughout the presentation. A cool thing to do would be to incorprate the content into a Prezi to add a little twist to the delivery method.

Customers mostly like the ideas that have origin in their believes, experience and habits. It is much more effective to convince the customer to some idea or solution if he/she articulates this idea/solution and then believes that we are actually following his/her concepts.
This presentation focuses on the Discovery and Elicitation tasks and techniques with special attention to methods that are related to coaching. Coaching being originally part of personal development can be also used sales and in managing customer expectation. It is often defined as “form of development in which a person called a coach supports a coachee (learner or client) in achieving a specific personal or professional goal by providing training and guidance.”.
