This document provides a summary of product updates from GitLab last year and a vision for making it easy to deploy simple applications on Kubernetes. Last year, GitLab launched many new features and continued improving existing features. The vision is to bring the power of Kubernetes to deploy, scale, and manage applications to everyone by making it easy to go from zero to one, allowing everyone to use the full power of the development cycle from idea to production. The steps outlined are to set up an account on Google Compute and create a Kubernetes cluster, start a project in GitLab, build something new by creating an issue, branch, and MR directly from the terminal, and then review, deploy, and provide feedback in a merged request.
