What is Gift-wrapping?
 Gift wrapping refers to the act of enclosing a gift in some
sort of material.
Wrapping paper is a kind of paper designed for gift
wrapping. Gifts may also be wrapped in a box. They may be
held closed with ribbon and topped with a decorative bow
(an ornamental knot made of ribbon).

Consider using COMICS or NEWSPAPERS to wrap your gift;
or STAMP and PAINT appropriate designs onto PLAIN
WHITE or BROWN KRAFT PAPER.
Choose transparent CELLOPHANE TAPE for your gift
wrapping needs.
This kind will give your package a more tidy appearance than can be
achieved with other types of tape.
Use a FABRIC – LINED BASKET or a DRAWSTRING FABRIC
BAG as wrapper if your gift will not fit in a box.
Cut out pictures of last year’s CALENDAR and use
them for gift wrapping.
 The pictures are bright and interesting, the coated stock is
glossy and finished looking, and the weight of the paper
makes the wrapping neat and proper.
OLD MAPS could be wonderful gift
REUSE gift wraps for wrapping smaller presents. Also
reuse HIGH QUALITY RIBBON, especially one whose
fabric can be ironed flat to look like new.
Tips
Check the Label in any package of gift-
wrapping paper to make sure there is enough
paper inside to wrap your gift box.
If you are wrapping a very large box or several gifts, you
may need to purchase more than one package.
Do not choose gift-wrapping paper that
comes folded into precut squares.
Such kind of paper has deep creases which give your
package a crumpled, untidy appearance. Opt for paper that
comes in a tube instead.
Be creative in wrapping gifts.
Keep the recipient’s age, likes and dislikes in
mind when choosing the colors and types of
materials used in wrapping.
Do not forget to remove the price tag before
wrapping your gift.
