A thorough study of existing VHD algorithm using fuzzy logic concept revels that, use of
fuzzy logic concepts to design a multi criteria vertical handoff decision algorithm is both
cost-effective and highly useful.
Research into vertical handover decision algorithms in heterogeneous networks is still a
challenging area. The main difficulty is to design an algorithm which is truly useful in
wide ranging conditions and utilize all the useful network parameters.
