GeoEye had a successful 2011, relocating its headquarters to Herndon, Virginia and adding 330 jobs. It expanded partnerships with Esri, Google, and TerraGo to provide improved online access. GeoEye also worked on developing GeoEye-2 through contracts with ITT and Lockheed Martin, and was inducted into the Space Foundation's Space Technology Hall of Fame.
