Media Studies involves understanding how different media like films, television, music, and advertising work and changing how people view the world by creating your own media. The course includes exams on action adventure films and television comedies, a group advertising campaign project, and an individual media production like a documentary or website along with an analytical essay. Students develop skills in research, project planning, teamwork, critical thinking and relating media to social contexts, preparing them for further study in related fields.

reading the day’s headlines in the paper.
Studying media involves changing the way
you look at the world by understanding how
