Product Design is a new course to LVC….Our current year 10’s have made the decision to move over to!Chosen to give you more choice….Allowing you to tailor the outcome & learning to your needs/interests.You can still run with a traditional design tech project….OR you can chose a project that involves: electronics graphical products (examples) jewellery and much more.Explain 40% 60% split.1st year will be made up of: focused practical tasks to improve/further your skills researching & designing for your final project using CAD/CAM2nd year will be:making the final working product/prototypetesting, evaluating, adapting the final outcomepreparing for the examexam: part design, part knowledge.
Where can it take you?Can lead onto a huge array of: routes of study career paths industries.
