Introduction
In order to keep balance between demand and supply, the
utilization of photovoltaic panels for energy production has
attracted great attention. But, due to the high capital investment
in solar panels and battery banks, it is difficult to opt for it.
Moreover, the regular maintenance and replacement of the battery
bank need investment just like operational cost. Therefore, the
grid-connected inverter can be used as the remedy to the battery
bank.
We want to design a digital control of grid-connected inverter for
portable PV plants which will send excessive power to the grid and
the farmers can make earnings from it.
Problem Statement
Due to the increase in the tariff of electricity, most of the tube
wells are converted to solar-based power stations. Where, most of
the time water is not required for the crops and the power goes to
waste. A grid-connected inverter can be used for it but in most
cases, the availability of a grid in fields is not possible.
The interconnection of such inverters with the grid faces many
challenges including control issues.

Project Objectives
There are two types of objectives that are targeted for this
project. Some of these objectives are to contribute to society
while the others are technical.
Social Objectives
 Social objectives are as follows:
 To minimize energy crises
 Save energy from wasting.
 Optimize the use of energy resources.
 Motivate farmers to get benefits from renewable energy
resources.
 Minimize carbon emissions and minimize global warming.
Project objectives
Technical Objectives
The targeted core technical objectives of this project are
mentioned below.
Efficient conversion of DC into AC.
Synchronization of the inverter with the grid.
Removing the harmonics that are added during DC to AC
conversion.
Design of control law for reliable and efficient operation.
Successful injection of power from portable PV plant to the grid.
Proposed Solution
To resolve the above issues, the solar panels can be installed
on a trolley to bring it to home when it is not in use and a grid-
connected inverter can be used to connect it to the national or
micro grid.
Therefore, in this project, we are going to propose Digital
Control of Grid Connected Inverter for Portable Photovoltaic
Power Station.
The grid-connected inverter can also save excessive energy
from wasting by supplying it to the national or micro grid. We
want to design and develop a grid-connected inverter for these
plants which will send excessive power to the grid.

The existing grid-connected inverters are being imported
while we are going to design an inverter indigenously. The
indigenous design and development of the grid-connected
inverter will be cost-effective.
Moreover, our digital control design and its implementation
will bring some novelty to the existing grid-connected
inverter.

  • 4. Introduction In order to keep balance between demand and supply, the utilization of photovoltaic panels for energy production has attracted great attention. But, due to the high capital investment in solar panels and battery banks, it is difficult to opt for it. Moreover, the regular maintenance and replacement of the battery bank need investment just like operational cost. Therefore, the grid-connected inverter can be used as the remedy to the battery bank. We want to design a digital control of grid-connected inverter for portable PV plants which will send excessive power to the grid and the farmers can make earnings from it.
  • 5. Problem Statement Due to the increase in the tariff of electricity, most of the tube wells are converted to solar-based power stations. Where, most of the time water is not required for the crops and the power goes to waste. A grid-connected inverter can be used for it but in most cases, the availability of a grid in fields is not possible. The interconnection of such inverters with the grid faces many challenges including control issues.
  • 7. Project Objectives There are two types of objectives that are targeted for this project. Some of these objectives are to contribute to society while the others are technical. Social Objectives  Social objectives are as follows:  To minimize energy crises  Save energy from wasting.  Optimize the use of energy resources.  Motivate farmers to get benefits from renewable energy resources.  Minimize carbon emissions and minimize global warming.

Project objectives Technical Objectives The targeted core technical objectives of this project are mentioned below. Efficient conversion of DC into AC. Synchronization of the inverter with the grid. Removing the harmonics that are added during DC to AC conversion. Design of control law for reliable and efficient operation. Successful injection of power from portable PV plant to the grid.

Proposed Solution To resolve the above issues, the solar panels can be installed on a trolley to bring it to home when it is not in use and a grid- connected inverter can be used to connect it to the national or micro grid. Therefore, in this project, we are going to propose Digital Control of Grid Connected Inverter for Portable Photovoltaic Power Station. The grid-connected inverter can also save excessive energy from wasting by supplying it to the national or micro grid. We want to design and develop a grid-connected inverter for these plants which will send excessive power to the grid.
  • 12. Innovation The existing grid-connected inverters are being imported while we are going to design an inverter indigenously. The indigenous design and development of the grid-connected inverter will be cost-effective. Moreover, our digital control design and its implementation will bring some novelty to the existing grid-connected inverter.
