2. ACCESSORY DEFECTS
Defects are nothing but certain undesired quality, function or
impairment of a certain material.
Defects in accessories and raw materials used in garment are pre
generated or generated during processing of the garment. And to make
quality garment all the defects must be rectified and raw material
defect rectification is an important process to maintain overall quality
of the garment.

3. BUTTON DEFECTS
• Omitted, damaged, defective or inverted
• Buttons that do not conform to
specification
• Misaligned and improperly spaced
buttons
• Buttons having sharp edges

4. FUSING DEFECTS
• Fusible interfacing must be
compatible with the garment
• It should be free from bubble or
pucker
• It must not extend the interlining
area and must not be visible

5. ZIPPER DEFECTS
• Any malfunction
• Tape shade that does not closely
match to the color specified
• Tape stitched too loose or tight
• Exposed edges
• Broken parts of zipper
• Inappropriate size or length of zipper

6. DEFECTS OF CARTON BOX
• Incorrect carton dimension
• Carton damaged
• Carton marking missing

7. SIZE/CARE LABEL DEFECT
• Measurement error
• Wrong care code
• Blur/missing print
• Improper attachment
