Tenughat Vidyut Nigam Limited is a power generating company
incorporated on 26.11.1989 of Jharkhand .
 The project site known as Tenughat Thermal Power Station
(TTPS) is located at village.Lalpania in Dist‐Bokaro. The
project is situated on the bank of Tenughat reservior. . .
 The total installed capacity of Tenughat Thermal Power
Station is 420MW having two units of 210 MW capacity each.
 The daily requirement of coal for full load generation from its
2x210 MW units is a approximately 7000 MTs which is met
from coal mines of CCL situated in the vicinity of plant within
50 Kms..
 TTPS has an acquired land of approx. 1800 acer

 1 -2 :-isenotrophic expansion(steam turbine)

 4-1:- isobaric heat supply(steam generator
or boiler)
COAL:-
 Plant needs 700 mt coal per day for the
running of 2x210 mw plant
 It is supply by coal block ccl which is 50 kms
away from the plant
WATER:-
Plant get water from tenughat dam
Coal Handling Plant

 Unload the coal
from wagon to
hopper with the
help of wagon
Tripler.
 Hopper allows to
pass coal pieces ≤
200mm
 From hopper coal
fall on vibrator
which is supported
by roller.
 Belt are used to convey coal from coal
handling plant to furnace.
 Specification:-
◦ Belt width : 1400mm
◦ Speed : 2.2m/sec
◦ Total install power : 360kw
◦ Capacity : 1350/750 ton/hr
◦ No. of conveyor: 38

 It is a closed vessel in which water under
pressure is converted into steam.
 Hot water or steam used to transfer heat to a
process.
 A boiler is always designed to absorb
maximum amount of heat released in process
of combustion.
 Furnace:- It is primary part of boiler where
the fuel is burnt to liberate the heat energy.Chemical

the impact of the working fluid such as steam,water etc.

Type -3 cylinder, impulse reaction
Heat flow at rated output – 2152.5 kcal/kwh
Quantity of oil - 1800 liters
It converts mechanical power into electrical power.

Used for the removal of suspended particles and fly ash from
industrial flue gases
PRINCIPLE- Produces an electrostatic field which attracts the
ionized carbon particles and other such particulates which cause
environmental pollution.

Tenughat Vidyut Nigam Limited is a power generating company incorporated on 26.11.1989 of Jharkhand .  The project site known as Tenughat Thermal Power Station (TTPS) is located at village.Lalpania in Dist‐Bokaro. The project is situated on the bank of Tenughat reservior. . .  The total installed capacity of Tenughat Thermal Power Station is 420MW having two units of 210 MW capacity each.  The daily requirement of coal for full load generation from its 2x210 MW units is a approximately 7000 MTs which is met from coal mines of CCL situated in the vicinity of plant within 50 Kms..  TTPS has an acquired land of approx. 1800 acer

  • 10.  Unload the coal from wagon to hopper with the help of wagon Tripler.  Hopper allows to pass coal pieces ≤ 200mm  From hopper coal fall on vibrator which is supported by roller.
