1.3. Objectives of the Study
Before going to the organization I set my objectives that guided me until I finished the report. It
always kept me focused to be on right track. The objectives are:
1.3.1. General Objectives:
To bridge the gap between the theoretical knowledge and practical functioning.
Sound understanding of the corporate world.
Familiarizing with accounting concepts.
Putting to use accumulated theoretical knowledge.
1.3.2. Specific Objectives:
To apply instantly what I have learned from the observations.
To identify the major problems faced by the insurance industry.
To know the changes those have already been brought and also need to be brought in ITGI.
To learn the accounting processes at C.S.C. level.
1.4. Methodology
This report is primarily based on my experiences from the day to day official work under the
department of finance accounts at the head office of Peoples Insurance Company Limited. As my
research method, I have used qualitative data collected and some secondary information from the
annual reports (2013 2014) of the company web information from the related companies.
I have used both primary and secondary data in this report. The data were collected by different ways:

Data which have been collected primarily and not taken from any other existing sources are called

much and increase in power in the late 1800 s and early 1900 s. A political machine is system of
political organization based on patronage, the spoils system, and political ties. Sometimes political

I am writing this letter in regards to the KFC and the Anne Naughton Memorial Scholarship. By
writing this letter, I am hoping that it will greaten my chances of being a recipient of this scholarship.
