WINDOWS AND DOORS ISOLATION
Friul Filiere has carried out a complete plant for the
extrusion of thermal-break profiles in 8 strands.
The plant ensures the production of 8 profiles at
2mt/min (90 kg/h) and it is composed of a single-screw
extruder Omega80 with PLC and a classical downstream
with insertion of auxiliary machines.
The extruded thermal break profiles present mechanical
characteristics of resistance similar to aluminum.

PU PROFILES
BELTS AND GUIDES FIELD
Friul Filiere has developed comprehensive technology
for full, compact, and abrasion resistant polyurethane
(PU) profiles. A special calibration system ensures profile
control and dimensional accuracy. The controlled
industrial process is more precise than casting
production, and gives high-performance profiles that are
ideal for use on goods conveyor belts, as well as driving
belts or guiding profiles for diamond wire.

FFC™
It’s the composite material consisting of the mixture
of thermoplastic material (50%) with vegetal fibers
(50%) and lightened with closed cells expansion.
FRIUL FILIERE SPA filed a patent which protects all
the aspects of this new technology: Formulation;
Plant; Process.
FFC™ is ideal for many applications: decorative door
frames, aluminum-wood frame profiles, skirting, wall
paneling, profiles in general.

DIP TUBING
From its unique position as manufacturer of dies and
equipment for extrusion, Friul Filiere has developed and
implemented a complete line for tubes up to 6 mm.
The component are all interfaced and controlled by one PC.
The production speed from 200 to 250 meters/min is
reachable only with the perfect flow management of the
material and the accurate control of the cooling
temperatures and a fine supervision of the vacuum.

23. With an under load deflection temperature equal to 207°C
PPS is able to resist to continuous shock and heat exposure
and it is a self-extinguishing material.
Friul Filiere has carried out a dedicated turn-key project
consisting in:
 A special solution resistant to extreme

die internal cooling for walls stabilization, the
choice of stainless steel, the heating system;

TUBEASY
Friul Filiere has dedicated its most recent patent to the
world of pipes, which is now confirming a growing
interest in Tubeasy. In the production start-up phase,
Tubeasy ensures a perfect alignment of the flow and the
desired thicknesses quickly and easily, and it also
reduces waste and costs. International groups have
upgraded their production lines with Tubeasy for process
optimization. Friul Filiere designs and manufactures
complete extrusion die heads for pipes, however also
existing heads can be upgraded with the Tubeasy system.
