trial, Monsieur Meursault stated that he did not hunt down the Arab and intend to kill him. Meursault
couldn t justify why he murdered the man, as stated in the text, Well, then, why was I armed and why
did I return to precisely that spot? (Camus 88). There was absolutely no excuse as to why Meursault
killed the Arab and it was evidently shown that he was going to be held accountable for his actions.

The short story Volar by Judith Ortiz Cofer, and the poem Harlem by Langston Hughes share a
common theme which is the elusive American dream, thus, compared to a pot of gold for migrants.
There are several ideas that pertain to elusive American dream of both the short story and the poem.
First, in Volar, a family migrated from Puerto Rico to New Jersey to seek opportunities and better life
conditions. Similarly, in Harlem, it speaks about African Americans who migrated from the South to
the North for better working conditions. Secondly, in Volar, the reality of how hard to attain the
American dream is evident as the story described the living conditions in their tiny apartment. In a like
manner, the poem Harlem expresses the devastation in the truth that American dream of African

entertainment without sound. Although how did sounds start and what were some major advancements
in the world of sound cinema? The introduction of sound to cinema began by a process known as
Phonofilm, created by a man named Lee de Forest and Theodore Case in 1923. The Phonofilm, which
recorded synchronized sound directly onto film, was used to record a variety of entertainment
including vaudeville acts, musical numbers, political speeches and opera singers. Unfortunately, this
sound film didn t last long because it was overshadowed by the sound on disc, later named the
Vitaphone.
The Vitaphone was developed by Western Electrics Bell Laboratories and quickly acquired by Warner

We introduce the beginning phase of the Cluster Hiding in Plain Sight (textit{CHiPS}) survey with
the aim to discover new galaxy clusters surrounding bright point sources. We also present
textit{Chandra} observations of a newly discovered low shift, z=0.2230, galaxy cluster with a central
quasar, PKS1353 341. After removing the quasar brightness from the cluster core, we determine
various properties of the cluster down to the center core. The average temperature of the cluster gas is
$4.3pm1.9$ keV with an increase from 5 keV at the center up to almost 10 keV. A short central

Stress is a common theme in my life. I have to admit that, for me, personally, it has become a chronic
condition. Recently, I have finally made the step of realizing that stress is the evil dictator ruling a
vicious cycle. A revolution is necessary:
Stress is something we have all experienced at some point in our lives. From a biological perspective,
stress is a phenomenon that occurs when we experience circumstances that disturb our physical and
mental equilibrium. These circumstances, which are referred to as stressors, include heavy workloads,
relationship problems, illnesses or upcoming, life changing events such as weddings, divorces or
childbirth. Stress is naturally occurring and can even be helpful in certain situations such as being
under pressure to finish an essay, but if stress is not relieved it becomes chronic. Chronic stress can
have negative effects on our physical and psychological condition, relationships, work or school
situation and other aspects of our social life.

In Mary Shelley s Frankenstein, Shelley characterizes the female characters as passive, disposable and
serving an utilitarian function. Women such as Safie, Elizabeth, Justine, Margaret and Agatha provide
