The Costs of Marijuana Prohibition Essay
The Costs of Marijuana Prohibition
The nation that we live in today proudly proclaims its perpetuation of freedom and democracy, and
with these qualities it conveys supreme justice. The United States government and its constitution
are regarded by many as the pinnacle of civil government, as the ultimate projection of civil justice.
However, no government is perfect, for man himself is inherently imperfect. For over two centuries
since its birth, The U.S. constitution, which many hold in such high esteem, has been continuously
molded to fit our ever changing society. Many of these changes have been good and necessary,
while others have caused unforeseen problems. Even in light of harm to society, however, the

government and condoned by law officials and citizens alike.
Throughout this argument for marijuana legalization, the notion of justice will be repeatedly called
upon, and the justice of the current system and policy will be analyzed and disputed. In order for
this analysis to happen, justice itself must first be defined thoroughly and given precise parameters.
According to Webster s Dictionary, justice is the quality of being just, impartial, or fair, and
conformity to truth, fact, or reason. Justice from this point on will include the following: the logical
execution of law or standard based solely on proven facts or truth, and the existence of fairness and
equality throughout these actions.
The drug war that the U.S. government is waging is not limited to law enforcement crackdowns
and mandatory prison sentences. According to the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention,
declines in teen drug use are preceded by a generally higher awareness of the harms of drugs (Torr
39). Obviously, the perpetrators of the national anti drug campaign are alert to this fact, and they
have put it to their use. Recently the Office of National Drug Control Policy, or the ONDCP, has
used the media, specifically television, as a tool to flaunt anti drug propaganda to the American
public. Television commercials about the dangers of marijuana use have flooded T.V. networks. In
fact, the ONDCP actually spent $3.2 million on two

Sister Castilla Roy Adoption Model Analysis
Unlike in the traditional set up where patients were just recipients of care, today care process
recognizes patients as active participants in their health. Providing a holistic care is a key priority
in nursing environment which identifies that, care outspreads the walls of a facility. Holistic care
aims at the healing of the entire individual s life and not just about the individual s sickness.
Therefore, holistic care addresses the inter relatedness of a person s body, emotions, spirit, mind,
context and environment. An accurate holistic care is said to be administered, when the nurse
focuses only on all the aspects mentioned above. The Sister Castilla Roy Adoption Model is a
notable theoretical model that offers a framework for holistic nursing practice and, a premise of
this theory is that an individual is in both psychological and biological mode as well as largely
affected by the external environment (UrsavaЕџ, Karayurt Д°Еџeri, 2014). Roy s Adoption Model

The theory thus conceptualizes an individual as a holistic adaptive system who is in a continuous
interaction with the internal and external environments (Clarke, Barone, Hanna Senesac, 2011).
Nursing must therefore, acts as the mediating factor and ensures a balance between these
environments to promote health. The Roy Adoption model has three main stimuli from the
environment the focal stimulus, contextual stimuli, and residual stimuli (Bhanji, 2012). According
to Bhanji (2012), the focal stimulus is the internal and external stimulus, the contextual stimuli are
all other stimuli present in the situation that contribute to the effect of the focal stimulus. The
residual stimuli are environmental factors within or outside human systems the effects of which are
unclear in the situation such beliefs, behaviors and personal

Marcus Aurelius Meditations Upon Ideas
Meditations upon Meditations 2nd century emperor Meditations, a response within an ever
growing philosophical dialogue between the philosophers of the past and present. As the ruler of
the known world, Marcus s worldview is surprisingly modest, positing that the human experience,
regardless of length, is a thing of equality as every man possesses only the present moment in
which he lives. Within this work, the emperor addresses the men of the Roman world (therefore,
those who could read in Greek and had an interest in philosophyor learnedness) in an educated
fashion and exhorts them to lead a balanced and good life without fear of death, Bear in mind

It urges men to recognize that they are all brothers and offenses committed upon each other are
the result of ignorance of the aforementioned ability to distinguish between good and evil. It also
wishes to emphasize that suffering in one s life is not the product of the external world, rather it
is either a natural event that man must overcome or the soul committing violence to itself through
thoughtless, foolish, or evil actions. This perspective encourages individuals to improve oneself
rather than to blame the world for events beyond their control. Death is something to be
embraced as a natural end to a very brief existence, a mere point as he calls it. Fame is discarded
as meaningless, and with its death a narrative of a personal journey emerges rather than one that is
endorsed by the observations of others. All this points to Marcus Aurelius being a man of great

Famine, Affluence and Morality by Pete Singer
In the article, Famine, Affluence, and Morality , Pete Singer, a Utilitarian, argues that citizens in
affluent countries such as the United States have a moral obligation to give up as much as they can
for famine relief. Singer s contention in his article is that the way we morally conduct ourselves
ought to be reappraised. (Singer, 230). I Singer s argument, and in this paper, I will examine the
distinction between duty and charity, compare both deontological and consequential theories of
ethics, and address Immanuel Kantand Pete Singer s similarities and their utilitarian resolution to
such problems. I will conclude how we have a moral duty to relieve suffering in the world, and
why it is wrong if we abstain from our moral obligation.
In his article, Famine, Affluence, and Morality, Singer tries to emphasize the importance of helping
those in need. He believes that if it is in our power to prevent something bad from happening
without sacrificing anything else of moral importance then we have a moral obligation to do it.
(Singer, 231). By this, Singer means that each and every one of us has the power to prevent the
terrible things that negatively affects the world. For example, if we are in a situation where we
have the ability to prevent something morally wrong from happening but we let it pass by, he
describes this as not just laziness but moral wrongdoing. Singer argues if you come across a child
who is drowning and it is easy to wade in and rescue the child but by

Empirical Formula of Zinc Iodide
Experiment 9
Empirical Formula of Zinc Iodide
Objectives
Upon completion of this experiment, students should have learned:
1. The law of conservation of mass.
2. How to calculate an empirical formula.
3. The concept of limiting reagents.
Introduction
Synthesis and the determination of empirical formulas are two extremely important parts of
chemistry. In this experiment, you will synthesize zinc iodide and determine its empirical formula.
The molecular formula gives the actual number of atoms of each element in the molecule and the
empirical formula gives the lowest whole number ratio of the atoms in the molecule. For instance,
the molecular formula of glucose is C6H12O6 and its empirical formula is CH2O. For some ...

For instance, sodium chloride and sodium oxide should be and are NaCl and Na2O respectively.
Aluminum chloride and aluminum oxide should be and are AlCl3 and Al2O3. When there are
multiple oxidation states of a metal, more than one compound is possible. For instance, copper and
oxygen form Cu2O and CuO and more information are needed to distinguish between the two.
When naming a copper oxide, it is very important that the name distinguish between the two
possibilities [copper(I) oxide or cuprous oxide and copper(II) oxide or cupric oxide].
Care must be exercised as chemistry often contains wonderful surprises. Suppose the percent by
mass experiment for an iron oxide results in 72.36% Fe by mass and 27.64% O by mass.
Following the procedure above, results in a molar ratio of 1.296:1.727. Division by the lowest
number, results in a mole ratio of 1:1.33. For cases like this, the next step is to multiply by the
lowest whole number that converts each of the subscripts to a whole number. Thus the formula is
Fe3O4. As iron has two oxidation states (+2, +3), the expected formula is either FeO of Fe2O3.
Anytime a result that is inconsistent with expectations is obtained, the first and immediate step
should be to recheck all the data and calculations. In this case, the results are real and Fe3O4 is a
known compound often called magnetite. Understanding the oxidation state of iron in this
compound

Barbara Kruger s artwork has caught the attention of mass media for many reasons. Many
believe her artwork is repugnant, obnoxious, and too forward. Some go as far to say that it
disrupts the environment in which it is displayed. In Ana Balona de Olivera s article Jam Life

hidden social violence, Barbara Kruger s work is discussed as an exploration of the
ambivalently hidden violence of the stereotype.../Freud s discussion of compulsive repetition,

perspectives. (Jam Life into Death) . On the contrary, many have great appreciation for the
works of Barbara Kruger. People see Barbara, and her work, as unafraid to cross the line, and
speak on typically taboo topics. She lets them be known, by using the media, such as magazine
covers, billboard displays, bus stops, posters, and remote storefronts. Her artwork has gotten

Similarities Between The Great Gatsby And Goodbye Columbus
On occasion, there can be two novels that share the same theme. Sometimes they can have the
same plot, but in the case of the two novels, The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and the
novel Goodbye Columbus, by Philip Roth they explore the same dynamics of the American
dream. In both novels there are similar themes of sex and money as a form of power. Both novels
can relate to each other because the authors decided to show how the pursuit of the American
dream may not always be a good thing, and how sex and money can cause problems in that pursuit.
The idea of the new world verses the old world is a major premise in the novel Goodbye
Columbus. In this novel there are two families, the Patimkins and the Klugmans, who live in two ...

They also have a refrigerator full of fresh fruit that is always full. This is all the ideal life for
Neil, and when Brenda in introduced into the mix Neils perfect world is formed. If he could
become part of the Patimkin family he would have sex, money and in essence the American dream.
Those three ideas are also present in the novel The Great Gatsby. In this novel the two worlds are
divided by old and new money, instead of the idea of assimilation to society after immigration. In
The Great Gatsby, where you live determines your wealth, just as it did in the novel Goodbye
Columbus. In The Great Gatsby the idea of wealth representing power is the most prevalent aspect
of the novel. The title character Jay Gatsby, is wealthy and he lives in the new money side of town.
The love of his life is Daisy Buchannan, and she lives on the old money side of town. Their love
is similar to that of Neil and Brenda. They are symbols of two different worlds, yet they find
love, but in both of cases the love does not end happy. It is a sign that maybe what you think is
perfect and what you think is right for you is not always the case. In The Great Gatsby the
theme of sex is also a reoccurring one, many of the characters use sex as a form of power. It is easy
to see that in both of the novels sex and money go hand in hand. Daisy and Gatsby don t have the
same problems that Brenda and Neil have, and they don t have as big of a problem dealing

Coffee usually has potassium and antioxidants that are beneficial if consumed in a limited
quantity. A regular eight ounce cup of coffee contains a hundred and fifty milligrams of caffeine
and when sugar and creamers are added to it, it contains more calories than the same size energy
drink (Fetters). In contrast a sixteen ounce red bull contains a hundred and fifty four milligrams
of caffeine that is half the caffeine content than that of a coffee but it contains way more sugar,
sodium and B12 which acts more quickly than a coffee (Fetters). Caffeine has been observed to
block fatigue inducing neurotransmitters, increasing neural firing and triggering the release of
dopamine and norepinephrine in the brain, according to the research from McGill University
which results in a better mood, faster metabolism and a sharper brain. According to the Mayo
clinic, about two to three hundred milligrams of caffeine is safe for one to drink. Energy drinks
and coffee differ in the way they deliver caffeine to our system and more concern should be taken
while taking energy drinks as there are far more variety of energy drinks found in the market with a
variable caffeine content.
On the basis of cultural, social and ingredients in it, coffee is a more richer, social and beneficial

I Have Long Advocated For Social Equality
I have long advocated for social equality and been aware of the prevalence of racism. However, my
forethought now seems insignificant compared to the degree of racism that James W. Loewen
suggests is indoctrinating the minds and classrooms of America s youth. Loewen takes readers on
an enlightening journey through his book, Lies My Teacher Told Me: Everything Your American
HistoryTextbookGot Wrong, that intends to expose the false claims and lack of information in
standard American high school history textbooks. He aims to set the record straight on how and
why American history is so misrepresented and why it is important to represent history accurately
and not limitedly. Throughout the book, he largely focuses on the shortcomings or outright
fallacies of historical textbooks in regards to racism, government, colonialism, and patriotism.
Loewen serves this book to bring about institutional change where he feels that it is needed and to
stress the importance of factual historical information and realpolitik. He displays vast amounts of
logical and thoroughly descriptive anecdotes and facts, however, the scrambled organization of his
topics, and his clear devotion and passion for the theme of social justice and anti racism present the
problem of bombardment. Furthermore, he does not appeal to his suggested audiencein adequate
rhetorical manner that is consistent with his declared purpose of the book.

The Legalization Drugs
The dawn of the twenty first century has ushered in a new age of optimism and wonder. Despite
the proclamations of television, all is not in well in our part of the world. Our societies have
succumbed to the modern holy war on drugs. Being fought against our own citizens and citizens
abroad, an international effort to eradicate drug production and use has undoubtedly failed leaving
in its wake social unrest and political chaos. Assault, property crime, racial and economic

A regulated drug market would provide drug users with consistent doses, lowering the likelihood
of overdose with some drugs. Clear labeling, instructions, and warnings present in a legalized
system would result in safer usage. It is known, for instance, that other, more dangerous drugs,
have caused many of the deaths linked to ecstasy. (www.csdp.org/factbook/ecstasy.htm) In the
future, such scenarios can be virtually eliminated. Another safety issue surrounding drug usage is
the spread of diseases, such as AIDS, through injection drug use. According to a study in 1996
Drug paraphernalia laws in 47 U.S. states make it illegal for injection drug users to posses
syringes . (www.csdp.org/factbook/syringee.htm) This law effectively bans needle exchange
programs (since they would be giving needles to drug users who are banned from having them).
The study concluded that access to clean needles would reduce blood borne viruses in injection
drug users. The legalization of drugs would also allow profitable research by pharmaceutical
companies into safer drugs that produce similar psychoactive effects to the current illegal ones.
New drugs could possibly decrease the negative health effects of drugs reducing the overall harm
caused by current unhealthy drug use. (www.opiods.com) The safety gap

The Spill Caused By The British Petroleum Oil Spill
On April 20th, 2010 forty miles of the coast of Louisiana in the Gulf of Mexico, the largest oil
spill in the United States occurred. The explosion on the British Petroleum oil rig killed eleven
people and injured seventeen others resulting in eleven counts of manslaughter, two
misdemeanors, and a felony against the corporate giant. The spill caused 200 million gallons of
crude oil to be pumped into the waters, which lasted a total of eighty seven days. Texas, Louisiana,
Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi, were affected in the 16,000 total miles of coastline that were
damaged by the leak. At least 8,000 animals were killed within the six months following the

District Judge Carl Barbier blamed the company s gross negligence for the explosion of the oil
rig (Businessweek.com, 2015). After the damage was done the chief executive officer Tony
Hayward became a household name. His initial response to the spill was I just want my life back.
This statement was taken with great criticism. People were outraged that the response was so
selfish and that the chief only seemed to care about himself instead of the families that were
involved and the ethical implementations of such a disastrous event. The chief eventually came out
with a well crafted seemingly autonomous response to the public with a very formal I m sorry
(Cnn.com, 2010).
The backlash came hard and swift. The view from the general public seemed that BP did not do
enough in the initial response of the oil spill. It seemed like the company had a systemic systematic
approach to business that resulted in myriad environmental and worker safety violations
(Citizen.org, n.d). British Petroleum was a repeat corporate criminal and the consensus seemed to
believe this company would take shortcuts and risk human safety for business profit. It seemed as
though this company did not have categorical imperative to act with responsibility to the
environment or its worker s safety. Some blame the company s lack of business ethics came from an
ethical relativism that resides from the company s home country of Britain. In today s global

Themes Of Greed In Adam Mitchell s Cloud Atlas
Cloud Atlas is a book composed of six different writings from a multitude of writers such as
Adam Ewing, Cavendish, Sonmi, and Frobisher. These stories are written in a different time
period but show a lot of the same ideals and themes. There are many themes that present
themselves in cloud atlas but the one that appealed to me most was greed. Mitchell did a very
good job in showing greed in each of the chapters in a variety of different ways whether it was a
minimal or large amount. In addition, the author also related both the future and the past to the
current time to show what is arguably the worst characteristic one can have. I believe that Mitchell
chose the theme of greed to show that all humans will do nearly anything to satisfy their personal
needs and wants. While reading Cloud Atlas I realized that there is at least minimal traces of greed
in each writing. The writing of Adam Ewing, Luisa Rey, Sonmi 451, and Cavendish expressed the
most greed out of the six.
The first chapter of the book opens up with Adam Ewing s journal. At first he writes about the
strange man named Dr. Goose and picking up teeth on the beach. Although Ewing was a bit
skeptical of Goose at first, it seemed that they became closer as the book progressed until a
particular situation. Later, Adam writes about when Dr. Goose and himself walked up on a
whipping of a particular slave names Autua who comes in later into the story and ends up being a
very important character when saving Adam s life.

Sound Intensity In Crickets
The Effect of Sound Intensity and Type on the Foraging Time of the House Cricket, Acheta
domesticus. Brett Tung, 2017, Ecology (BIO 211), University of Puget Sound.
The topic of interest was how instincts and perceptions affect the foragers through the ecology of
fear. The aim was to look at if sound intensity and/ or sound type affects the foraging time of
common house crickets. This was to see how foragers overall would react to a threat of predation
(the sound). Using a simple maze and a speaker we looked at two different types of sound as
well as a control the sound types consisted of a Bluebird and a 1000 Hz tone and a tone at 70
dBA. The run time was recorded by how long it took for the cricket to get from a start line to a
food source in the presence of the sounds or lack of. It was found that together the sound type and
intensity had a significant effect on the foraging time of the crickets. Separately the sound type had
no significant effect but the different intensities did have an effect.

Smartphone Addiction Essay
Over the past years, improper smartphone usage has been a widespread concernedly problem
among teens and college students. According to Hawi and Samaha (2016), Smartphones are
becoming an integral part of the lives of all age worldwide. People feel inseparable from their
smartphones (p. 321). Problematic smartphone use are considered as an important indicators that
someone is on the path to smartphone addiction (Cevik, Gokcearslan, Haslaman, Mumcu, 2016, p.

well. Researchers have worked to figure out the causal factors of smartphone addiction from both
academic and psychological field. In the meantime, social media becomes a controversial topic
among researchers since students spend most of their smartphone time on social media application.
The question that whether social media is beneficial for students life is highly debated. Students
now have many ways to communication because of the rapid growth of communication technology.
Cell phones and smartphones are used for both sending text messages and talking, while online
communication methods such as email, chat and social networking provide additional methods to

Current ratios of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters
Current ratio= Current Assets/current liabilities
Current ratio in 2011= $1131527/471374=2.40
Current ratio in 2010=$495269/238055=2.08
Current ratio in 2009= $417,233/ 106,456=3.9
There was a reduction in the current ratio of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters from 2009 to 2010
from in 3.9 in 2009 2.4 in 2010 and 2.08 in 2010.this shows that the liquidity of the firm is has
dropped and then improved over the three years. The firm can able to pay its short term obligations
as they fall due since the current ratio exceed 1and therefore quite stable.
Working capital
Working capital = Current assets Current liabilities
Working capital in 2011 = $ 1131527 471374=$660153

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters is more efficient than other firms in the industry as it has stable
ratios that have an upward trend.
Green Mountain Coffee Roasters is efficient in utilizing its assets to generate sales as shown by
the increase from $0.92 in 2009 to $1.93 in 2010.
I would consider investing in Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. This is because based on the ratio
analysis the firm is not insolvent since it can meet its debts obligations as they fall due. Also the
trend in the financial statements indicate a general increase in the value of assets hence a favorable
investment. Also the working capital has increased over the three years. The current assets have
continued to be more than the current liabilities over the three years. Therefore the increase in
working capital reflects that the firm has improved its ability to pay its current liabilities over the
three years making it an ideal company to invest

Essay on If He Hollers Let Him Go
America has gone through many changes since its independence in 1776. However, as America
was in the midst of its Second World War, it became obvious that one thing that had yet to be
entirely solved, racial discrimination. In the novel, If He Hollers Let Him Go, Chester Himes
creates a wide variety of characters that all have a different, but concrete, view point on raceand
racial discrimination. The novel is about Bob Jones, a black man, who moves to California
during World War II because he is tired of the extensive racial discrimination in Ohio. Bob begins
to work at Atlas shipyard, one of the many shipyards that are responsible for producing ships,
which was crucial during the time of war. Bob eventually becomes a leaderman in the... Show more

Mrs. Harrison believes that black people have to earn the white people s respect, trust, freedoms
and equality. Mrs. Harrison says to Bob, You mustn t think in terms of trying to get even with
them, you must accept whatever they do for you and try to prove yourself worthy to be
entrusted with more (52). She states that if black people work hard enough, the white people
will reward them. She also wants the black community to wait for the white people to give them
something better, to accept what the white people do for them. She compares the idea of black
and white people equality to communism. She tells Bob that he needs to make himself worthy
of respect. You know yourself, Bob, a lot of our people are just not worthy, they just don t
deserve anymore than they re getting (52). These comments illustrate how class has a great
influence on Mrs. Harrison s point of view on race. Without having to work and being rich, she
is ignorant of the racial discrimination that a day to day skilled worker of Bob s color has to go
through. Like her daughter Alice, Mrs. Harrison has been given special treatment by the white
people for her lighter skin, and her social and economic class.
Alice is a very light skinned, black woman who could pass off as white without any makeup. She
works as a supervisor of case work in city welfare. She came from the one of the richest Negro
families on the West Coast. She is, in Bob s mind,

Grant And Lee Compare And Contrast
Grant and Lee: A Study in Contrasts These were two great military leaders who even though
were fighting on different sides in the Civil war had a lot of strong moral beliefs in what they
really believed in. Coming from different backgrounds they both received Military training at
West Point and were some of the greatest Military Commanders of their time. Both men were
governed by personal codes of honor and a steadfast allegiance to what each viewed at his
homeland. Grant and Lee were in complete contrast, representing two diametrically opposed
elements in American life. (Bruce Catton page 61 reprinted in The Norton Mix.) Robert E. Lee, in

Applying Two Kinds Of A Spherically Symmetric...
In this work, we consider two kinds of a spherically symmetric semiconductor quantum dots: (a)
type I single quantum dot (SQD) with radius r_1, in which electrons and holes are confined in the
same region of space, and (b) type II core/shell quantum dot (CCQD) with the same core radius,
r_1, coated with shell thickness t=r_2 r_1, in which the spatial confinement of electrons and holes
depends strongly on the geometrical parameters (core radius and shell thickness) and strain effects.
Due to the potential structure of CdSe/CdTe CCQD, electrons mainly reside in the CdSe core
region, while the holes dwell mainly in the CdTe shell region. This separation is shown in Fig. 1.
For clarity, we designate the band gap energy, the conduction band minimum (CBM) and the
valence bandmaximum (VBM) of bulk semiconductormaterials in the unstrained case by E_g0^i,
E_c0^i and E_v0^i, respectively. E_c^i and E_v^i denote the bulk band edges of each
nanoheterostructure compound including strain effect. In this paper, the index i=1,2,3 refers to
the CdSe region (1), CdTe region (2) and the external medium (3), c(v) holds for conduction
(valence) band and e(h) holds for electron (hole). E_g and V_(e(h)) are the bulk gap energy and
the electron (hole) confining potential of strained hetero nanocrystal, respectively. In Fig 1, Оµ_1,
Оµ_2 and Оµ_3 are dielectric constants of core, shell and external medium, respectively. For

Summary Of The French Language In Dangerous Liaisons
Dangerous Liaisons is an epistolary novel written in the 1700s detailing the events of a set of
high class people and their conquests for love and revenge. One of the many characteristics of
this novel that make it unique is the French language used in the novel and the way the novel is
written. The language and word choices are features that are important to a deeper
understanding of the novel. The language used is specific to French culture and society and
therefore the language creates a different understanding of the text. The language and
untranslatable words in Dangerous Liaisons help to understand the culture and society of the
characters in the text for an overall better understanding of the text. This novel depicts ideas of
how love was seen back in the 1700s in France. Love and marriage were not necessarily
connected to each other and to truly love someone it was believed that there had to be a lot of
pain and suffering involved. In this novel the main character Vicomte de Valmont and his lady
counterpart the Marquise de Merteuil are seeking love and also revenge against a multitude of
different characters. There are multiple love triangle type situations that happen and a lot of
betrayal and hurt as well. All of the characters are high class peoples and are revered and respected
socially. The novel was originally written in French in the 1700s and then later translated to
English. There are English translations adapted by many different translators and each

Advantages Of Virtual Reality Glasses
Introduction
In this project I will give you the basics information about virtual reality and virtual reality glasses.
I will tell you how it works, about its advantages and disadvantages, history and also little bit about
history.
How Do Virtual Reality Glasses Work?
Three dimensional and virtual reality glasses have polarized lenses which show two pictures, one
image per each eye and give you an illusion of CAVE environments. Technique used to enable a
3D effect to a 2D image is called stereoscopy.
Head tracking system is added to more advanced versions of virtual reality glasses. This system is
controlled by a computer and computer sends signals to modify the pictures seen by a wearer as
they move around their environment. For example if ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

In 1999 The Matrix was a big hit in theatres. Movie shows characters that are living in totally
simulated world. This had a big cultural impact and it brought the topic or virtual reality to the
people.
For the first fifteen years of 21st century was a rapid development of virtual reality. Computer and
mobile technologies exploded so while there was more and more products, prices were lower and
lower. Breakthrough of smartphones with 3D graphics capabilities has enabled generation of virtual
reality devices.
Health Effects
While using a virtual reality headset you might feel headache, queasiness, blurred vision or
combination of all three. Those and many side effect may be only temporary, but long term studies
are insufficient so we do not know for sure. This is reason why you should take break for ten or
fifteen minutes for every thirty minutes of use, even if you think that is not necessary.
Conclusion
Virtual reality is getting very popular. Year 2017 might be a key year in this industry. It s up to us
if we stick with just reality or go little bit virtual and enjoy its endless

Rhetorical Analysis In Debra Marquart s The Horizontal World
Marquart Rhetorical Analysis Essay In the passage, The Horizontal World, Debra Marquart
states, Driving west from Fargo on I 94, the freeway that cuts through the state of North Dakota,
you ll encounter a road so lonely, treeless, and devoid of rises and curves in places that it will
feel like one long held pedal steel guitar note (Marquart 1). Debra Marquart, along with several
others, share a great passion for the Midwest. The Midwest is an area that is truly full of the
unknown, as much of its qualities are not known to society. The Midwest can easily be viewed
as bland and insipid, yet also overly structured and undisclosed. It can be exceptionally difficult
for one to fully understand the Midwest due to its size and variation. Although, all in all, it most
certainly can be described as an area, whose positives are not know by all. In Debra Marquart s
writing, The Horizontal World, she utilizes comical satires and evident allusion to characterize the
land of the upper Midwest. Marquart uses satires in the passage to inform the reader about the
Midwest, as well as gain the reader s attention through being comical. As stated in the writing, This
is the way I recently heard a comedian describe the column of states that holds down the center of
the country, the Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, a region that spawns both tornadoes and
Republicans (Marquart 2). This sentence implies the use of a satire because Marquart is making a
statement that is sarcastically funny, so that she can gain the attention of the reader. Marquart
states that she once had a comedian describe several Midwest states to be the spawn of tornadoes
and Republicans, which to anyone that has some sense of humor, this statement is overly humorous
(Marquart 2). The knowledge of several tornadoes taking place in the Midwest and Republicans
coming from the Midwest, then stating that the Midwest is the spawn of the two, is simply a
comical statement addressing some information on the Midwest. Later in the passage, it states,
Being blond, fresh faced, and midwestern makes their descent into ruthless behavior in places like
Los Angeles and New York all the more tragic (Marquart 3). This is another sentence that

prejudices and various contexts do not deprive people of their words and languages. Code

order to get there, the girls follow the Rabbit Proof Fence as their guideline while consequently

The Importance Of Public Transportation In Urban
Public transportation in rural areas of course operate to serve communities and individuals that
live and work outside of urban areas. According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, the
need for rural public transportation has historically been linked with providing mobility and
accessibility to essential employment, goods, and services for older adults, persons with
disabilities, low income persons, and others. Perhaps surprisingly, nearly 10% of rural public
transportation trips were for residents seeking medical attention. The public transportation s
remaining rides in rural areas provide transport for employment and education as well as for social
and recreational activities where residents might not otherwise be inclined or even able to
participate in these endeavors. According to the National Association for State Community Services
Programs, low income workers and households typically reside either in rural locations or in city
centers, with modern jobs emerging further and further away from either of these two locations. For
rural Americans and for this reason, public transportation offers the opportunity to access a better
job and a better life. All over the country rural transportation services have developed to serve the
rural communities and the citizens that live in these areas. According to the Community
Transportation Association of America, in 2014 over 1400 agencies provide public transportation

What Are The Five Generic Competitive Strategies
The Five Generic Competitive Strategies
Gaining a competitive edge in a market saturated with sellers depends on developing a strategic
plan that will align with company goals and customer needs. When it comes to attracting customers,
businesses should focus on two things: (1) quality or features of the product and (2) the price of the
product (Gamble, Peteraf and Thompson, Jr. 89). Standing out against competition, however,
requires planning using competitive strategies. There are five strategies businesses can utilize to
operate competitively and become industry leaders: (1) low cost provider strategy, (2) best cost
provider strategy, (3) differentiation strategy, (4) focus low cost provider strategy and (5) focus
differentiation strategy.
Low Cost Provider Strategy
There are several ways businesses can achieve cost leadership through the implementation of a low
cost strategy. Essentially, passing on savings to customers requires the reduction of overhead costs
incurred by the business. Such costs reductions would need to take place in the form of performing
value chain activities in a more cost efficient manner than competitors or by eliminating certain
activities from the value chain altogether (Gamble et al. 90 91). Little Caesars, Aldi and Zenni
Optical have all implemented low cost strategies that have allowed them to establish themselves as
leading competitors within their industries.
Within the past ten years, Little Caesars has been able to continue to grow as a pizza chain
through the use of a low cost strategy targeting economically challenged areas. Little Caesars Hot N
Ready model focuses on luring the customer with fast service and virtually no wait time. This
model has allowed them to eliminate the delivery option offered by most major pizza chains. In
doing so, customers avoid delivery fees and higher prices because Little Caesars reduced their labor
cost significantly.
Aldi is a grocery chain that has established itself as a strong competitor in the market by offering
groceries at extremely low prices. To achieve such low prices, Aldi cuts costs throughout its entire
value chain process. Some key strategies used by Aldi include only offering private labels,
reducing labor costs by

Summary Of Archilochus And Fragment 31 By Sappu
Three lyric poems from the archaic period allow for an examination of the representation of the
pronoun I, namely fragments 191 and 193 by Archilochus and fragment 31 by Sappho. Both poems
provide graphic descriptions of individuals stricken by love for a woman that is implied to be
unaware of their affection. Although the two poets share a number of characteristics in terms of
general topic and poetic mechanisms, they hold a fundamental set of differences in their approaches
to universality, specificity, public, and private.
Sappho writes occasional poetry in melic verse she, as the sole speaker, presents thoughts and
feelings in an emotional way that can be targeted at individuals ( For the moment I glance at you,

Fragment 191 and fragment 193 both also fit into the category of melic monody, although they do
not fulfill the criteria as strongly as do Sappho s works. They are undeniably emotional poems
about thoughts and feelings, but the intensity found in Sappho s work is reduced in that of
Archilochus by his more sweeping illustration of his experience with sense robbing love.
Archilochus uses intense language that might be relatable and universal, but the vagary of the
actual sensations ( the passion of love that coiled itself beneath my heart / and poured thick mist
across my eyes, / robbing me of my tender senses ) makes it harder for a reader to feel the
sensations as they read as they might with Sappho. His descriptions are also less physical he is
gripped by longing and in bitter pain, but they are public descriptions of general experiences
related to the discomfort of love they are no more than one might say in casual conversation.
Sappho s descriptions are liveable, inhabitable, vicarious, and shocking. Her powerful descriptions
align heavily with historical perspectives of women as hysterical individuals who were heavily
invested in emotions, which can in turn be contrasted with Archilochus rather detached and public

Healthcare s Application of Petronio s Communication Privacy Management Theory
Communication privacy management theory (CPM) developed by Sandra Petronio in 1991, is
a theory about how people make decisions regarding how they reveal and/or conceal their
private information. CPM functions on the premise that individuals maintain and manage
privacy boundaries in their interpersonal communications depending on the perceived weight of
ones benefit and cost of disclosure (Bridge Schrodt, 2013). The purpose of this paper is to
demonstrate how CPM through the use of three operational theories plays a significant role in
our lives and our interpersonal communications. At its core are three operational theories that act
as guiding principles, they are simple in nature and easily defined how ownership forms
personal rules for disclosure; how we coordinate and control disclosure and relational turbulence
that occurs when individual boundary rules are at odds (Griffin, 2009, p. 121). We will explore
each theory and provide real life applications utilizing examples of how healthcare organizations
and providers use CPM in their practice. Privacy Ownership Through the use of privacy
boundaries to divide private and public information CPM contends that when we disclose private
information we depend on a rule based management system to control the level of accessibility and
privacy boundaries to govern self disclosure. As a way to manage privacy boundaries individuals

Blizzards Research Paper
Have you ever been snowed in? What about no power or no heat? Imagine what it would be like
to experience a blizzard, in winds whipping snow around at 35 mph or higher! It s not about how
much snow there is to determine a blizzard, it s about how strong the winds are and the amount of
time it lasts, explains TV weather forecaster, Al Roker. Usually blizzards are 3 or more hours and
they can be harsh and deadly. Just to think about powerful, strong, frigid air and snowswirling
around me is scary in a way.
Remember that terrifying winter night, winds howling outside, and...zap!... the lights go out. The
house goes dead silent and all you hear is gusts of wind whistling about. What do you do now?
No internet. No warmth. No light. First, start by lighting candles or getting flashlights. You can
spend time with family, play games, and just have fun. Get cozy and cuddle up with a good book.
Whatever you decide, try not to cause problems because you never know how long you ll be
snowed in for. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Once all the snow settles, you re left with piles and piles of snow! If the winds were really
strong, you will see snow that has drifted into huge, mountainous piles in a certain spot. After a
few days, or about a week, the snow will have started to melt which can cause small floods in the
area. Also, snow can create serious damage to houses during or after the blizzards. Often, sidings
and shingles come off of houses or water can seep into a hole, therefore ruining insides of homes.

Are Liberal-democratic States Inherently More Peaceful...
The United States of America proudly present themselves as a humanitarian liberal democratic
power and as the main liberal architect whose role, became more significant in the post Cold War
world, given the end of the bipolar system which created a systemic permissiveness for the
institution of the so called New World Order в‚Ѓ paired with liberal ideals and the desire to spread
peace and democracyin a global scale and pursue (...) America s ideals liberty, democracy and
peace. в‚‚
In this essay, after defining some crucial concepts, such as peace, liberal and democratic
governments, I ll present arguments that support the idea that liberal democratic states are not
inherently more peaceful then other states, but that they are, in fact, ... Show more content on

Another core element in the liberal vision in economic interdependence, as shown by Scott
Burchill: with the existence of free markets and the possibility of free trade and its potential to
create national wealth, states would expand their range of contacts and levels of understanding,
encouraging international friendship and breaking down the divisions between states, uniting them
₉. Meaning that trade creates mutual dependence between states which fosters understanding
and finally reduces conflict.
The Democratic peace thesis, whose basic concepts were studied by Kant in the 1700s, is the
theory that suggests that democracies have been pacific in their relations with one other and are
unlikely to go to war with another democracy. Democracies rarely fight each other (an empirical
statement) because (b) they have other means of resolving conflicts between them and therefore do
not need to fight each other (a prudential statement),and (c) they perceive that democracies should
not fight each other (a normative statement about principles of right behavior), which reinforces the
empirical state¬ment. By this reasoning the more democracies there are in the world, the fewer
potential adversaries we and other democracies will have and the wider the zone of peace. russet

Soundtrack Of Star Wars
Star Wars is one of those franchises that spans generations, and is beloved around the world. The
sights and sounds of Star Wars has prevailed throughout the decades, whether as nostalgia, or to
complain about the prequel trilogy. Star Wars has become ingrained in the part of society reserved
for pop culture references, memes, and wasted money on official (and not so official) merchandise.
Overall, every aspect, but particularly the sounds, of the Star Warsfranchise is made to connect
back to the original trilogy. Despite being spread across decades and multiple facets of the
franchise, the familiar, continuing sounds of Star Wars is a way of retaining continuity, and
nostalgia, as well as identifying characters and themes. The scene chosen... Show more content on

The sounds match the area and environments, as discussed in above paragraphs it is the robots
and technology that were created within the realm of the film s universe and genre that set the
environment. Aurally the sense of space is not similar to what is being visually portrayed in
some parts, particularly when characters are talking; there is no reverberation off of metal or
plastic when Obi Wan Kenobi is talking to PadmГ© in the spacious hospital room full of
plastics and metal, he sounds more like he is in a closed environment, and close to the
microphone. Despite this the soundscape is still used to effectively shape the environment seen
on screen into a hallucination of a fully real world, one is able to almost sense and touch within
one s mind. Most evidently at the very end scene when Darth Vader is overcome by anguish at the
revelation that he killed PadmГ©. In that part he loses his control over the Force and starts to
destroy the robots and equipment still present in the room after his surgery. One can hear the
familiar sounds of bottles and glass being smashed, and crinkles of cans

Wicca and Ecofeminism
Across many cultures that function predominately with patriarchal thought, women are perceived
to be closer to nature than men (Roach, 2003; King, 1989, 2003). This perception of women and
nature portrays them as the others something that is different from and controlled by the dominant
(King, 2003). The binary oppositions of male over female and culture over nature have been
associated with more male dominating religions like Christianity (Roach, 2003; Ruether, 2003)
Goddess religions and earth based spiritualties on the other hand find power in the female image,
connect with nature through rituals, and believe it is the destiny of humanity to participate in the
cycles of birth, death, and renewal that characterizes life on earth. The... Show more content on

The Divine is seen as the ultimate One, but there is a duality present. Vivianne Crowley (2003)
elaborates on this concept by explaining that the Divine is seen as male and female, Goddess and
God, representing a moving and transforming energy. Some traditions within Wiccamay place a
different emphasis on the Goddess and God, but all Wiccan traditions believe that the image of the
Divine must comprise both male and female. To worship only a single God or Goddess would
produce an imbalance. Such discrepancies that are prevented in the Wiccan beliefs are found in the
patriarchal structure of a religion such as Christianity (Ruether, 2003). Many female and male
feminists left Christianity during the time of the feminist movement to find practices like Wicca so
that they had the opportunity to reach their greatest potential in life (Crowley, 2003).
Wiccan fundamentals differ from Christianity not only in the sense of gender, but also in the idea
that the earth is a living entity and should be treated equal to those who are in relation to it (Fry,
2000). As a religion, Wicca offers an understanding of humanities relationship with the plants and
animals of our home planet, and a form of worship that individuals can share with each other.
Wiccans see the representation of the earth as the Great Mother and the teachings of this religion
focus on valuing the sacred soil. It is believed that this earth was given for us to inhabit by the

Collective Behavior
Chapter I: The Study of Collective Behavior
A. What Is Collective Behavior?
As we review these pages for the final time sections of Los Angeles are in flames in response to a
jury verdict exonerating police whose beating of an African American man was captured on
videotape. Supporters and opponents of abortion take to the streets daily. Mexico City searches
for answers to a gas explosion that leveled a 40 square block area. The number of men wearing
pony tails and one earring and the number of people saying and understanding yo, dude seems to
be increasing. These diverse actions fall within the area sociologists call collective behavior.
Some fields in sociology are relatively easy to define and their meaning can be grasped ... Show
more content on Helpwriting.net ...
An even more extreme view argues that the field as a whole should be abolished because all
complex social behavior is collective and to a degree dynamic. Hence the field has no unique
subject matter. The collective behavior perspective is thought to apply to all behavior and no
unique concepts, theories or methods are needed to understand it, apart from general sociological
concepts. If we were starting fresh we could certainly find a better name for the field and perhaps
a more logical way of dividing it up (although this could be said of most intellectual fields).
The term collective behavior does not have much literal meaning since strictly speaking it
includes any group behavior. Yet once established, intellectual traditions are slow to change. The
initial definitions of knowledge and questions in this field still exert a powerful hold. Courses
and books usually contain the words collective behavior. Critics of this field raise important
issues, but as in Kipling s fable of the blind persons and the elephant (where each person correctly
identifies a separate part, but all fail to see the whole animal), we think there is a broad logic
uniting the field. The logic involves emergent group behavior in settings where cultural guidelines
are non specific or lacking, inadequate, or in dispute.

Essay on The History of Hitler and the Nazi Regime
The History of Hitler and the Nazi Regime
In the Second World War, a man named Adolph Hitler, the leader of the infamous Nazi regime, had
a plethora of things on his mind. From guarding the stricken land of Poland against Soviet
advancement, to making sure the western shores of the Atlantic Ocean in France were closely
guarded, Hitler had much to worry about. Unfortunately, it was during Hitler s reign when a most
horrible atrocity took place.
Adolph Hitler was born on April 20th, 1889 in a small hamlet named Braunau Am Inn, just across
the border from German Bavaria. Hitler s childhood was often riddled with abuse and physical
beatings. His family lived in a small farmhouse with 10 other people. Because of this, Adolph s

In 1920, Hitler modified a common ancient symbol to form the swastika, or twisted cross, as a
symbol for his party. He then changed the name of the party to the National Socialist German
Worker s Party, or, in the shortened German form, the NAZI party (Keegan 65).
By 1921, the Nazi party had over 3000 members, mostly drawing in large numbers of ultra
conservatives from Munich. In late 1921, Hitler traveled to Berlin to try and find more members
for his party, but quickly returned, for the members of his party had signed a coup, which
attempted to try and overthrow Hitler. Offended, Hitler resigned his position, only to be asked to
join again two weeks later. He knew the party was nothing without him (Gilber 54).
Between 1921 and 1923, Germany had collapsed into financial ruin. Germany was presented
with a 33 billion dollar bill, as reparations as a result of World War I. Inflation hit the roof, and
the economy was finished. It took 4 billion marks to buy a loaf of bread. Life savings were
completely wiped out. As a result, riots broke out. These riots incited extremist political groups into
action, quickly bringing Germany to the brink of chaos.
In 1923, the Nazi s had a party population of 55,000 members, far more than any extremist group
vying for power. Hitler, knowing this, devised a plan, in which the Nazi s would kidnap the leaders
of the Bavarian government, and hold them at gunpoint until they accepted Hitler as their leader.
The kidnapping was

Essay on Modern Piracy With A Breif History
Piracy is usually determined as a seizure of property (ship, airplane or software) that holds no
commission from the owner ( Piracy 1). It is mostly linked to the dirty, bearded men that sailed
the seven seas and robed merchant ships or ships that carried a valuable cargo. This however, was
not the case in the late eighties and is definitely not the case today in the nineties. Now software
piratescopy software without the permission of the company for their own personal benefits. Since
piracy interrupts trade between nations it has been considered to be an offense against
international law ( Piracy 1). While the pirates in the medieval age roamed for plunder on the high

It was not the lack of plunder because there were still many merchant ships sailing between
nations with valuable cargo. Also, the conditions in merchant and navy ships were as severe as
before so there was still a great reason to turn to piracy. It was called the golden age because at
this time there were more pirates (not to mention the number of the well know pirates) than ever
before and their amount of plunder was far greater than any other period in history. From this time
period the original term piracy got its name and fame.
This statement been said, Piracy could never be completely gotten rid of. This is a very true
statement. It did take a long time, now pirates have set sail again and this time in cyberspace (The
Internet). Their vessels are no longer ships filled with gunpowder and cannons, but desktop and
laptop computers. Software piracy has existed as long as software itself, but it has not had a
notable effect before the late1980 s. The pirating of software just got easier as hardware became
more advanced. The development of the modem has allowed the computer to transmit and receive
data. Due to this technological advancement pirates (modern term Hackers) have been able to put
pirated software on webpages and websites around cyberspace. These webpages and websites

Heroism Depicted Throughout The Epic Poem, The Iliad And...
Heroism is shown through the ages in a variety of areas all over the world. One of the greatest
examples of how heroism is depicted within a literary work is in Homer s epic poem, The Iliad.
Although the ideals of heroism are apparent in the poem, it is important to understand how the
same theme can be seen through other works of literature. The Knights Tale, which is one of the
greatest stories that Chaucer s Canterbury Tales has to offer. The Iliadand The Knights Tale are both
stories that contain the ideals of heroism.
In the epic poem, The Iliad, Homer was brilliant in showing the idea of traditional heroism on the
battlefield. There is a clear conviction that comes from Homer in that he directed towards his
audience with the motive of making them understand the true definition of heroism. One of the
greatest examples of how heroism is displayed is the success within the field of battle. Heroism
is defined by the wish and willingness to emerge as a winner in case of militants. Through
military conflict heroism is defined by the urge on the war field as well as the desire to defend and
protect one s honor.
However, the complexity that exists within the heroism is what redefines the ideal of heroism by
truly revealing it. Wife, I too have thought upon all this, but with what face should I look upon the
Trojans, men or women, if I shirked battle like a coward? (142). Within this final scene between
Hector and his wife, the heroism of war is truly displayed. Hector

First of all, we will understand that what the interpolation is.
Interpolation is important concept in numerical analysis. Quite often functions may not be available
explicitly but only the values of the function at a set of points, called nodes, tabular points or

Sports development plan
I am proposing a 3 day handball camp which will be put in place to assist the growth of handball
at junior level within Nottinghamshire. The sport is growing and is deemed to be one of the
best legacies of London 2012 (BHA, 2011). However, there is still a large gap in the market for
new and enhanced programmes at junior level to assist the sport in becoming more popular (Gary
Cruz, 2006). Since becoming an Olympic sport in 1972, handball has been dominated by
European countries, mainly due to the restricted structures in position (Roberts et al, 2012). The 2
years following the Olympics is said to be a once in a lifetime opportunity for the sport to grow

the sessions and how many staff are needed. An advert in the local radio station promoting the

The purpose of this proposal is to target juniors at grass roots level, to increase their skills and
motivate them to carry on playing the sport within the Nottinghamshire area. On the success of the
proposal and in order to expand my project, more camps will be staged in each of the school
holidays and after school sessions can be put in place with additional funding from extended school
services, gradually increasing participation in Nottinghamshire. The extended after school sessions
may also provide opportunities for new and enthusiastic coaches to gain 1st4sport level 2 handball

Homosexuality In Briar Rose
In the United States it seems as though if something is taboo or misunderstood it is to be frowned
upon and looked down on. Many of our cultures have adopted these same ideas and notions toward
acts such as homosexuality, tattoos, or having a child outside of marriage. Also, many books have
been banned because of the information it has is misunderstood or not understood at all. The
growth of educationand other facets of life can be increased with the acceptance of information
that is controversial. Controversial information and ideas should create dialogue, in which people
can discuss how it can best be applied. The reason people keep away from these types of
discussions is because it makes them uncomfortable and when a person finds themselves in an
uncomfortable situation the first thing they want to do is get away from it. The book, Briar Rose,
by Jane Yolenis a novel that depicts the story of Cinderella. In which the main character Becca tries
to find her grandmothers history and the story she has been telling them their entire life. Her
grandmother never talked about her experiences during the holocaust but she uses Cinderella s
story to somewhat reveal her true story. Homosexualityis also shown in the book with the character
of Josef who was tortured during the Nazi regime along with Becca s grandmother. Josef is
helpful because he is able to reveal the life their grandmother once had in Europe. The book of

  • 2. The Costs of Marijuana Prohibition Essay The Costs of Marijuana Prohibition The nation that we live in today proudly proclaims its perpetuation of freedom and democracy, and with these qualities it conveys supreme justice. The United States government and its constitution are regarded by many as the pinnacle of civil government, as the ultimate projection of civil justice. However, no government is perfect, for man himself is inherently imperfect. For over two centuries since its birth, The U.S. constitution, which many hold in such high esteem, has been continuously molded to fit our ever changing society. Many of these changes have been good and necessary, while others have caused unforeseen problems. Even in light of harm to society, however, the constitution and its ... Throughout this argument for marijuana legalization, the notion of justice will be repeatedly called upon, and the justice of the current system and policy will be analyzed and disputed. In order for this analysis to happen, justice itself must first be defined thoroughly and given precise parameters. According to Webster s Dictionary, justice is the quality of being just, impartial, or fair, and conformity to truth, fact, or reason. Justice from this point on will include the following: the logical execution of law or standard based solely on proven facts or truth, and the existence of fairness and equality throughout these actions. The drug war that the U.S. government is waging is not limited to law enforcement crackdowns and mandatory prison sentences. According to the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention, declines in teen drug use are preceded by a generally higher awareness of the harms of drugs (Torr 39). Obviously, the perpetrators of the national anti drug campaign are alert to this fact, and they have put it to their use. Recently the Office of National Drug Control Policy, or the ONDCP, has used the media, specifically television, as a tool to flaunt anti drug propaganda to the American public. Television commercials about the dangers of marijuana use have flooded T.V. networks. In fact, the ONDCP actually spent $3.2 million on two ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Sister Castilla Roy Adoption Model Analysis Unlike in the traditional set up where patients were just recipients of care, today care process recognizes patients as active participants in their health. Providing a holistic care is a key priority in nursing environment which identifies that, care outspreads the walls of a facility. Holistic care aims at the healing of the entire individual s life and not just about the individual s sickness. Therefore, holistic care addresses the inter relatedness of a person s body, emotions, spirit, mind, context and environment. An accurate holistic care is said to be administered, when the nurse focuses only on all the aspects mentioned above. The Sister Castilla Roy Adoption Model is a notable theoretical model that offers a framework for holistic nursing practice and, a premise of this theory is that an individual is in both psychological and biological mode as well as largely affected by the external environment (UrsavaЕџ, Karayurt Д°Еџeri, 2014). Roy s Adoption Model provides a means for the nurses to focus on their profession of... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The theory thus conceptualizes an individual as a holistic adaptive system who is in a continuous interaction with the internal and external environments (Clarke, Barone, Hanna Senesac, 2011). Nursing must therefore, acts as the mediating factor and ensures a balance between these environments to promote health. The Roy Adoption model has three main stimuli from the environment the focal stimulus, contextual stimuli, and residual stimuli (Bhanji, 2012). According to Bhanji (2012), the focal stimulus is the internal and external stimulus, the contextual stimuli are all other stimuli present in the situation that contribute to the effect of the focal stimulus. The residual stimuli are environmental factors within or outside human systems the effects of which are unclear in the situation such beliefs, behaviors and personal ... • 4. Marcus Aurelius Meditations Upon Ideas Meditations upon Meditations 2nd century emperor Meditations, a response within an ever growing philosophical dialogue between the philosophers of the past and present. As the ruler of the known world, Marcus s worldview is surprisingly modest, positing that the human experience, regardless of length, is a thing of equality as every man possesses only the present moment in which he lives. Within this work, the emperor addresses the men of the Roman world (therefore, those who could read in Greek and had an interest in philosophyor learnedness) in an educated fashion and exhorts them to lead a balanced and good life without fear of death, Bear in mind always that as a Roman and a man you should perform your duties well and with dignity and... It urges men to recognize that they are all brothers and offenses committed upon each other are the result of ignorance of the aforementioned ability to distinguish between good and evil. It also wishes to emphasize that suffering in one s life is not the product of the external world, rather it is either a natural event that man must overcome or the soul committing violence to itself through thoughtless, foolish, or evil actions. This perspective encourages individuals to improve oneself rather than to blame the world for events beyond their control. Death is something to be embraced as a natural end to a very brief existence, a mere point as he calls it. Fame is discarded as meaningless, and with its death a narrative of a personal journey emerges rather than one that is endorsed by the observations of others. • 5. Famine, Affluence and Morality by Pete Singer In the article, Famine, Affluence, and Morality , Pete Singer, a Utilitarian, argues that citizens in affluent countries such as the United States have a moral obligation to give up as much as they can for famine relief. Singer s contention in his article is that the way we morally conduct ourselves ought to be reappraised. (Singer, 230). I Singer s argument, and in this paper, I will examine the distinction between duty and charity, compare both deontological and consequential theories of ethics, and address Immanuel Kantand Pete Singer s similarities and their utilitarian resolution to such problems. I will conclude how we have a moral duty to relieve suffering in the world, and why it is wrong if we abstain from our moral obligation. In his article, Famine, Affluence, and Morality, Singer tries to emphasize the importance of helping those in need. He believes that if it is in our power to prevent something bad from happening without sacrificing anything else of moral importance then we have a moral obligation to do it. (Singer, 231). By this, Singer means that each and every one of us has the power to prevent the terrible things that negatively affects the world. For example, if we are in a situation where we have the ability to prevent something morally wrong from happening but we let it pass by, he describes this as not just laziness but moral wrongdoing. Singer argues if you come across a child who is drowning and it is easy to wade in and rescue the child but by ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The law of conservation of mass. 2. How to calculate an empirical formula. 3. The concept of limiting reagents. Introduction Synthesis and the determination of empirical formulas are two extremely important parts of chemistry. In this experiment, you will synthesize zinc iodide and determine its empirical formula. The molecular formula gives the actual number of atoms of each element in the molecule and the empirical formula gives the lowest whole number ratio of the atoms in the molecule. For instance, the molecular formula of glucose is C6H12O6 and its empirical formula is CH2O. For some ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... For instance, sodium chloride and sodium oxide should be and are NaCl and Na2O respectively. Aluminum chloride and aluminum oxide should be and are AlCl3 and Al2O3. When there are multiple oxidation states of a metal, more than one compound is possible. For instance, copper and oxygen form Cu2O and CuO and more information are needed to distinguish between the two. When naming a copper oxide, it is very important that the name distinguish between the two possibilities [copper(I) oxide or cuprous oxide and copper(II) oxide or cupric oxide]. Care must be exercised as chemistry often contains wonderful surprises. Suppose the percent by mass experiment for an iron oxide results in 72.36% Fe by mass and 27.64% O by mass. Following the procedure above, results in a molar ratio of 1.296:1.727. Division by the lowest number, results in a mole ratio of 1:1.33. For cases like this, the next step is to multiply by the lowest whole number that converts each of the subscripts to a whole number. Thus the formula is Fe3O4. As iron has two oxidation states (+2, +3), the expected formula is either FeO of Fe2O3. Anytime a result that is inconsistent with expectations is obtained, the first and immediate step should be to recheck all the data and calculations. In this case, the results are real and Fe3O4 is a known compound often called magnetite. Understanding the oxidation state of iron in this compound ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In Ana Balona de Olivera s article Jam Life into Death , she speaks on how Kruger uses explicitly and violence in order to raise attention to hidden social violence, Barbara Kruger s work is discussed as an exploration of the ambivalently hidden violence of the stereotype.../Freud s discussion of compulsive repetition, trauma, death drive and pleasure principle contribute to new, albeit always open and paradoxical, perspectives. Sometimes they can have the same plot, but in the case of the two novels, The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and the novel Goodbye Columbus, by Philip Roth they explore the same dynamics of the American dream. In both novels there are similar themes of sex and money as a form of power. Both novels can relate to each other because the authors decided to show how the pursuit of the American dream may not always be a good thing, and how sex and money can cause problems in that pursuit. The idea of the new world verses the old world is a major premise in the novel Goodbye Columbus. In this novel there are two families, the Patimkins and the Klugmans, who live in two ... If he could become part of the Patimkin family he would have sex, money and in essence the American dream. Those three ideas are also present in the novel The Great Gatsby. In this novel the two worlds are divided by old and new money, instead of the idea of assimilation to society after immigration. In The Great Gatsby, where you live determines your wealth, just as it did in the novel Goodbye Columbus. In The Great Gatsby the idea of wealth representing power is the most prevalent aspect of the novel. The title character Jay Gatsby, is wealthy and he lives in the new money side of town. The love of his life is Daisy Buchannan, and she lives on the old money side of town. Their love is similar to that of Neil and Brenda. They are symbols of two different worlds, yet they find love, but in both of cases the love does not end happy. It is a sign that maybe what you think is perfect and what you think is right for you is not always the case. In The Great Gatsby the theme of sex is also a reoccurring one, many of the characters use sex as a form of power. It is easy to see that in both of the novels sex and money go hand in hand. However, my forethought now seems insignificant compared to the degree of racism that James W. Loewen suggests is indoctrinating the minds and classrooms of America s youth. Loewen takes readers on an enlightening journey through his book, Lies My Teacher Told Me: Everything Your American HistoryTextbookGot Wrong, that intends to expose the false claims and lack of information in standard American high school history textbooks. He aims to set the record straight on how and why American history is so misrepresented and why it is important to represent history accurately and not limitedly. Throughout the book, he largely focuses on the shortcomings or outright fallacies of historical textbooks in regards to racism, government, colonialism, and patriotism. Loewen serves this book to bring about institutional change where he feels that it is needed and to stress the importance of factual historical information and realpolitik. He displays vast amounts of logical and thoroughly descriptive anecdotes and facts, however, the scrambled organization of his topics, and his clear devotion and passion for the theme of social justice and anti racism present the problem of bombardment. After the damage was done the chief executive officer Tony Hayward became a household name. His initial response to the spill was I just want my life back. This statement was taken with great criticism. People were outraged that the response was so selfish and that the chief only seemed to care about himself instead of the families that were involved and the ethical implementations of such a disastrous event. The chief eventually came out with a well crafted seemingly autonomous response to the public with a very formal I m sorry (Cnn.com, 2010). The backlash came hard and swift. It seemed like the company had a systemic systematic approach to business that resulted in myriad environmental and worker safety violations (Citizen.org, n.d). These stories are written in a different time period but show a lot of the same ideals and themes. There are many themes that present themselves in cloud atlas but the one that appealed to me most was greed. Mitchell did a very good job in showing greed in each of the chapters in a variety of different ways whether it was a minimal or large amount. In addition, the author also related both the future and the past to the current time to show what is arguably the worst characteristic one can have. I believe that Mitchell chose the theme of greed to show that all humans will do nearly anything to satisfy their personal needs and wants. While reading Cloud Atlas I realized that there is at least minimal traces of greed in each writing. The writing of Adam Ewing, Luisa Rey, Sonmi 451, and Cavendish expressed the most greed out of the six. The first chapter of the book opens up with Adam Ewing s journal. At first he writes about the strange man named Dr. Goose and picking up teeth on the beach. Although Ewing was a bit skeptical of Goose at first, it seemed that they became closer as the book progressed until a particular situation. Later, Adam writes about when Dr. Goose and himself walked up on a whipping of a particular slave names Autua who comes in later into the story and ends up being a very important character when saving Adam s life. ... Brett Tung, 2017, Ecology (BIO 211), University of Puget Sound. The topic of interest was how instincts and perceptions affect the foragers through the ecology of fear. The aim was to look at if sound intensity and/ or sound type affects the foraging time of common house crickets. This was to see how foragers overall would react to a threat of predation (the sound). Using a simple maze and a speaker we looked at two different types of sound as well as a control the sound types consisted of a Bluebird and a 1000 Hz tone and a tone at 70 dBA. The run time was recorded by how long it took for the cricket to get from a start line to a food source in the presence of the sounds or lack of. It was found that together the sound type and intensity had a significant effect on the foraging time of the crickets. Separately the sound type had no significant effect but the different intensities did have an effect. In this work, we consider two kinds of a spherically symmetric semiconductor quantum dots: (a) type I single quantum dot (SQD) with radius r_1, in which electrons and holes are confined in the same region of space, and (b) type II core/shell quantum dot (CCQD) with the same core radius, r_1, coated with shell thickness t=r_2 r_1, in which the spatial confinement of electrons and holes depends strongly on the geometrical parameters (core radius and shell thickness) and strain effects. Due to the potential structure of CdSe/CdTe CCQD, electrons mainly reside in the CdSe core region, while the holes dwell mainly in the CdTe shell region. This separation is shown in Fig. 1. Rhetorical Analysis In Debra Marquart s The Horizontal World Marquart Rhetorical Analysis Essay In the passage, The Horizontal World, Debra Marquart states, Driving west from Fargo on I 94, the freeway that cuts through the state of North Dakota, you ll encounter a road so lonely, treeless, and devoid of rises and curves in places that it will feel like one long held pedal steel guitar note (Marquart 1). Debra Marquart, along with several others, share a great passion for the Midwest. The Midwest is an area that is truly full of the unknown, as much of its qualities are not known to society. The Midwest can easily be viewed as bland and insipid, yet also overly structured and undisclosed. It can be exceptionally difficult for one to fully understand the Midwest due to its size and variation. Although, all in all, it most certainly can be described as an area, whose positives are not know by all. In Debra Marquart s writing, The Horizontal World, she utilizes comical satires and evident allusion to characterize the land of the upper Midwest. Marquart uses satires in the passage to inform the reader about the Midwest, as well as gain the reader s attention through being comical. As stated in the writing, This is the way I recently heard a comedian describe the column of states that holds down the center of the country, the Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, a region that spawns both tornadoes and Republicans (Marquart 2). This sentence implies the use of a satire because Marquart is making a statement that is sarcastically funny, so that she can gain the attention of the reader. Marquart states that she once had a comedian describe several Midwest states to be the spawn of tornadoes and Republicans, which to anyone that has some sense of humor, this statement is overly humorous (Marquart 2). The knowledge of several tornadoes taking place in the Midwest and Republicans coming from the Midwest, then stating that the Midwest is the spawn of the two, is simply a comical statement addressing some information on the Midwest. According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, the need for rural public transportation has historically been linked with providing mobility and accessibility to essential employment, goods, and services for older adults, persons with disabilities, low income persons, and others. Perhaps surprisingly, nearly 10% of rural public transportation trips were for residents seeking medical attention. The public transportation s remaining rides in rural areas provide transport for employment and education as well as for social and recreational activities where residents might not otherwise be inclined or even able to participate in these endeavors. • 37. What Are The Five Generic Competitive Strategies The Five Generic Competitive Strategies Gaining a competitive edge in a market saturated with sellers depends on developing a strategic plan that will align with company goals and customer needs. When it comes to attracting customers, businesses should focus on two things: (1) quality or features of the product and (2) the price of the product (Gamble, Peteraf and Thompson, Jr. 89). Standing out against competition, however, requires planning using competitive strategies. There are five strategies businesses can utilize to operate competitively and become industry leaders: (1) low cost provider strategy, (2) best cost provider strategy, (3) differentiation strategy, (4) focus low cost provider strategy and (5) focus differentiation strategy. Low Cost Provider Strategy There are several ways businesses can achieve cost leadership through the implementation of a low cost strategy. Essentially, passing on savings to customers requires the reduction of overhead costs incurred by the business. Such costs reductions would need to take place in the form of performing value chain activities in a more cost efficient manner than competitors or by eliminating certain activities from the value chain altogether (Gamble et al. 90 91). Little Caesars, Aldi and Zenni Optical have all implemented low cost strategies that have allowed them to establish themselves as leading competitors within their industries. Within the past ten years, Little Caesars has been able to continue to grow as a pizza chain through the use of a low cost strategy targeting economically challenged areas. Little Caesars Hot N Ready model focuses on luring the customer with fast service and virtually no wait time. This model has allowed them to eliminate the delivery option offered by most major pizza chains. In doing so, customers avoid delivery fees and higher prices because Little Caesars reduced their labor cost significantly. Aldi is a grocery chain that has established itself as a strong competitor in the market by offering groceries at extremely low prices. To achieve such low prices, Aldi cuts costs throughout its entire value chain process. Some key strategies used by Aldi include only offering private labels, reducing labor costs by ... Summary Of Archilochus And Fragment 31 By Sappu Three lyric poems from the archaic period allow for an examination of the representation of the pronoun I, namely fragments 191 and 193 by Archilochus and fragment 31 by Sappho. Both poems provide graphic descriptions of individuals stricken by love for a woman that is implied to be unaware of their affection. Although the two poets share a number of characteristics in terms of general topic and poetic mechanisms, they hold a fundamental set of differences in their approaches to universality, specificity, public, and private. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Fragment 191 and fragment 193 both also fit into the category of melic monody, although they do not fulfill the criteria as strongly as do Sappho s works. They are undeniably emotional poems about thoughts and feelings, but the intensity found in Sappho s work is reduced in that of Archilochus by his more sweeping illustration of his experience with sense robbing love. Archilochus uses intense language that might be relatable and universal, but the vagary of the actual sensations ( the passion of love that coiled itself beneath my heart / and poured thick mist across my eyes, / robbing me of my tender senses ) makes it harder for a reader to feel the sensations as they read as they might with Sappho. His descriptions are also less physical he is gripped by longing and in bitter pain, but they are public descriptions of general experiences related to the discomfort of love they are no more than one might say in casual conversation. Sappho s descriptions are liveable, inhabitable, vicarious, and shocking. Her powerful descriptions align heavily with historical perspectives of women as hysterical individuals who were heavily invested in emotions, which can in turn be contrasted with Archilochus rather detached and public ... Healthcare s Application of Petronio s Communication Privacy Management Theory Communication privacy management theory (CPM) developed by Sandra Petronio in 1991, is a theory about how people make decisions regarding how they reveal and/or conceal their private information. CPM functions on the premise that individuals maintain and manage privacy boundaries in their interpersonal communications depending on the perceived weight of ones benefit and cost of disclosure (Bridge Schrodt, 2013). The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate how CPM through the use of three operational theories plays a significant role in our lives and our interpersonal communications. At its core are three operational theories that act as guiding principles, they are simple in nature and easily defined how ownership forms personal rules for disclosure; how we coordinate and control disclosure and relational turbulence that occurs when individual boundary rules are at odds (Griffin, 2009, p. 121). We will explore each theory and provide real life applications utilizing examples of how healthcare organizations and providers use CPM in their practice. Privacy Ownership Through the use of privacy boundaries to divide private and public information CPM contends that when we disclose private information we depend on a rule based management system to control the level of accessibility and privacy boundaries to govern self disclosure. As a way to manage privacy boundaries individuals formulate their ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Some traditions within Wiccamay place a different emphasis on the Goddess and God, but all Wiccan traditions believe that the image of the Divine must comprise both male and female. To worship only a single God or Goddess would produce an imbalance. Such discrepancies that are prevented in the Wiccan beliefs are found in the patriarchal structure of a religion such as Christianity (Ruether, 2003). Supporters and opponents of abortion take to the streets daily. Mexico City searches for answers to a gas explosion that leveled a 40 square block area. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... An even more extreme view argues that the field as a whole should be abolished because all complex social behavior is collective and to a degree dynamic. Hence the field has no unique subject matter. The collective behavior perspective is thought to apply to all behavior and no unique concepts, theories or methods are needed to understand it, apart from general sociological concepts. If we were starting fresh we could certainly find a better name for the field and perhaps a more logical way of dividing it up (although this could be said of most intellectual fields). The term collective behavior does not have much literal meaning since strictly speaking it includes any group behavior. Yet once established, intellectual traditions are slow to change. The initial definitions of knowledge and questions in this field still exert a powerful hold. Courses and books usually contain the words collective behavior. Critics of this field raise important issues, but as in Kipling s fable of the blind persons and the elephant (where each person correctly identifies a separate part, but all fail to see the whole animal), we think there is a broad logic uniting the field. The logic involves emergent group behavior in settings where cultural guidelines are non specific or lacking, inadequate, or in dispute. B. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Adolph Hitler was born on April 20th, 1889 in a small hamlet named Braunau Am Inn, just across the border from German Bavaria. Hitler s childhood was often riddled with abuse and physical beatings. By 1921, the Nazi party had over 3000 members, mostly drawing in large numbers of ultra conservatives from Munich. In late 1921, Hitler traveled to Berlin to try and find more members for his party, but quickly returned, for the members of his party had signed a coup, which attempted to try and overthrow Hitler. Offended, Hitler resigned his position, only to be asked to join again two weeks later. He knew the party was nothing without him (Gilber 54). Inflation hit the roof, and the economy was finished. It took 4 billion marks to buy a loaf of bread. Life savings were completely wiped out. As a result, riots broke out. These riots incited extremist political groups into action, quickly bringing Germany to the brink of chaos. • 50. Essay on Modern Piracy With A Breif History Piracy is usually determined as a seizure of property (ship, airplane or software) that holds no commission from the owner ( Piracy 1). It is mostly linked to the dirty, bearded men that sailed the seven seas and robed merchant ships or ships that carried a valuable cargo. This however, was not the case in the late eighties and is definitely not the case today in the nineties. Now software piratescopy software without the permission of the company for their own personal benefits. Since piracy interrupts trade between nations it has been considered to be an offense against international law ( Piracy 1). While the pirates in the medieval age roamed for plunder on the high seas, pirate radio and television stations broadcast, unauthorized... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It was not the lack of plunder because there were still many merchant ships sailing between nations with valuable cargo. Also, the conditions in merchant and navy ships were as severe as before so there was still a great reason to turn to piracy. It was called the golden age because at this time there were more pirates (not to mention the number of the well know pirates) than ever before and their amount of plunder was far greater than any other period in history. From this time period the original term piracy got its name and fame. This statement been said, Piracy could never be completely gotten rid of. This is a very true statement. It did take a long time, now pirates have set sail again and this time in cyberspace (The Internet). Their vessels are no longer ships filled with gunpowder and cannons, but desktop and laptop computers. Software piracy has existed as long as software itself, but it has not had a notable effect before the late1980 s. The pirating of software just got easier as hardware became more advanced. The development of the modem has allowed the computer to transmit and receive data. Due to this technological advancement pirates (modern term Hackers) have been able to put pirated software on webpages and websites around cyberspace. These webpages and websites offer the newest and most popular games and programs available for downloading. The downloading and these pages and sites are almost ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 51. Heroism Depicted Throughout The Epic Poem, The Iliad And... Heroism is shown through the ages in a variety of areas all over the world. One of the greatest examples of how heroism is depicted within a literary work is in Homer s epic poem, The Iliad. Although the ideals of heroism are apparent in the poem, it is important to understand how the same theme can be seen through other works of literature. The Knights Tale, which is one of the greatest stories that Chaucer s Canterbury Tales has to offer. The Iliadand The Knights Tale are both stories that contain the ideals of heroism. In the epic poem, The Iliad, Homer was brilliant in showing the idea of traditional heroism on the battlefield. There is a clear conviction that comes from Homer in that he directed towards his audience with the motive of making them understand the true definition of heroism. One of the greatest examples of how heroism is displayed is the success within the field of battle. Heroism is defined by the wish and willingness to emerge as a winner in case of militants. Through military conflict heroism is defined by the urge on the war field as well as the desire to defend and protect one s honor. However, the complexity that exists within the heroism is what redefines the ideal of heroism by truly revealing it. Wife, I too have thought upon all this, but with what face should I look upon the Trojans, men or women, if I shirked battle like a coward? (142). Within this final scene between Hector and his wife, the heroism of war is truly displayed. Hector ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 52. What Is An Interpolation Equation 1. INTRODUCTION OF LAGRANGE POLYNOMIAL ITERPOLATION 1.1 Interpolation: First of all, we will understand that what the interpolation is. Interpolation is important concept in numerical analysis. Quite often functions may not be available explicitly but only the values of the function at a set of points, called nodes, tabular points or pivotal points. Then finding the value of the function at any non tabular point, is called interpolation. Definition: Suppose that the function f (x) is known at (N+1) points (x0, f0), (x1, f1), . . . , (xN, fN) where the pivotal points xi spread out over the interval [a,b] satisfy a = x0 x1 . . . xN = b and fi = f(xi) then finding the value of the function at ... • 53. Sports development plan I am proposing a 3 day handball camp which will be put in place to assist the growth of handball at junior level within Nottinghamshire. The sport is growing and is deemed to be one of the best legacies of London 2012 (BHA, 2011). However, there is still a large gap in the market for new and enhanced programmes at junior level to assist the sport in becoming more popular (Gary Cruz, 2006). Since becoming an Olympic sport in 1972, handball has been dominated by European countries, mainly due to the restricted structures in position (Roberts et al, 2012). The 2 years following the Olympics is said to be a once in a lifetime opportunity for the sport to grow and foster in England (Thomason, J. 2012). In 2009 the national training centre... This is then to be handed into the school. This way the coaches and volunteers will know the number of participants expected at the camp in order to plan the sessions and how many staff are needed. An advert in the local radio station promoting the camp will also be aired in the mornings targeting parents and children on their way to school and work. Figure1: Gant chart highlighting time scale. The purpose of this proposal is to target juniors at grass roots level, to increase their skills and motivate them to carry on playing the sport within the Nottinghamshire area. On the success of the proposal and in order to expand my project, more camps will be staged in each of the school holidays and after school sessions can be put in place with additional funding from extended school services, gradually increasing participation in Nottinghamshire. The extended after school sessions may also provide opportunities for new and enthusiastic coaches to gain 1st4sport level 2 handball coaching qualification from England Handball which is going to be introduced to the east midlands. Qualified coaches will improve the standards of the sport and become the base of new junior clubs ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 54. Homosexuality In Briar Rose In the United States it seems as though if something is taboo or misunderstood it is to be frowned upon and looked down on. Many of our cultures have adopted these same ideas and notions toward acts such as homosexuality, tattoos, or having a child outside of marriage. Also, many books have been banned because of the information it has is misunderstood or not understood at all. The growth of educationand other facets of life can be increased with the acceptance of information that is controversial. Controversial information and ideas should create dialogue, in which people can discuss how it can best be applied. The reason people keep away from these types of discussions is because it makes them uncomfortable and when a person finds themselves in an uncomfortable situation the first thing they want to do is get away from it. The book, Briar Rose, by Jane Yolenis a novel that depicts the story of Cinderella.
