4. Grooming: can be defined as the art
of presenting oneself at his or her
best. Good Grooming is commonly used
to refer a person's appearance. It
is made up of personal hygiene, tidy
hair, appropriate dressing and
includes your looks, body language,
communications skills, manners etc.
5. Types of grooming:-
Physical : It is all about skin, hair and personal
hygiene.
Metaphysical : This is all about personality, Body
Language and manners.

*It is something about the person who had good
features , inner beauty and charm which means
a pleasing personality.
*Example: A person should be well-mannered in
his style and should be dressed professionally.

*Confidence is some what about this that a person
think that he is just better in some work than any other.
*Example: A person should have confidence in his
work and should know how to present himself in
confidence.

*A person body language is the graph of its personality.
*The characteristics of correct body posture is that which connect
enthusiasm , confidence , alertness and well-being.
*Example: Personality and body manner reflects the body language of
a person.

*Communication is the life blood in any organization.
*It is very important for creating an image of us in any other mind.
*Example: A person should have good command over languages like
Hindi , English and Punjabi. Grammer and pronunciation should also be
perfect. He/She should have knowledge in every aspect.

*In this industry of aviation and hospitality grooming is very important.
*Grooming affects the factors like wearing formal clothes ,
make-up , physical fitness and personal hygiene.
*Example: Grooming also reflects the personality of the person. Well
groomed person looks confident.

*Its something about thinking all the problems and
mistakes as positively and further thinking to avoid such
mistakes.
*Example: One should have positive attitude in his/her
thoughts. Positive attitude brings massive success quickly.

* Simple "If you don’t value your time , neither will
others".
*Example: Time doesn't wait for anyone. Famous
quote written in tokyo bus stop "Only bus stops here , Not
time". So one should be perfect in time.

The skin is the largest organ of the body,
with a total area of about 20 square feet.
The skin protects us from microbes and the
elements, helps regulate body temperature,
and permits the sensations of touch, heat,
and cold.
15. Skin Has Three Layers:
• The epidermis, the outermost layer of
skin, provides a waterproof barrier
and creates our skin tone.
• The dermis, beneath the epidermis,
contains tough connective tissue, hair
follicles, and sweat glands.

• The deeper subcutaneous tissue
(hypodermis) is made of fat and
connective tissue.
17. Normal Skin
* Normal skin has even tone ,
soft , a smooth texture , non-
visible pores or blemishes.
* This type of skin has a clear ,
fine textures , supple and smooth
surface which is neither greasy
nor dry.
18. Oily Skin
* Oily skin is shiny , thick
and dull colored.
* It is prone to
blackheads.

* It reacts quickly
to both heat and
cold.
* It is commonly
dry , delicate and
prone to allergic
reactions.

* It usually feels " tight " and
uncomfortable after washing unless some
type of moisturizer is applied to it .
* Chapping and cracking are signs of
extremely dry , dehydrated skin.

* The Soap I use is pH balanced and
is in liquid form
* Drinking aloe vera 30ml a day ,
really helpful to my skin

Hair is made up of a
protein called keratin that

of skin. As follicles
produce new hair cells, old
cells are being pushed out
through the surface of the
skin at the rate of about
six inches a year. The hair
you can see is actually a
string of dead keratin cells

It is quite difficult to conclude
from my side. I'm a learner ,
what I've experienced in
learning. Only I can share my
happiness with the experiments
practiced with self
participation. Hence being a
student can express about self
