Foot care is not a luxury. The prevention of foot problems cannot be over
emphasized, especially for seniors. Foot problems are very common in people with
arthritis, circulatory problems or diabetes.
Diabetes can lead to serious complications. Diabetes affects the circulation and
immune system, which in turn impairs the body’s ability to heal itself. As a result,
people with diabetes are less likely to feel a foot injury, such as a blister or cut.
Unnoticed and untreated, even small foot injuries can potentially leading to serious
complications.
Our Nurse at Home caregivers are able to provide care and advice for clients who
have particular problems looking after their feet. Regular foot care will improve
comfort and the general health of your feet. Our foot care services are provided to
the home in the Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Mississauga, ON service areas.
