The focus group survey asked participants about a magazine product, including what genre they thought it was, whether the pages linked well, and potential areas for improvement. Most participants thought the magazine was a rock genre and that the pages linked well due to consistent color schemes and mastheads. Suggested improvements included reducing white space on the contents page, avoiding small images where pages meet, and increasing spacing between writing at the bottom of pages.

1. What is good about my Products and codes or conventions typical of this
industry?
It is good because you have used the left third well
I really like the use of colour, how it goes through all three pages and
the main image is a typical mid shot and is placed in the centre
The mast head is clear and bold and it I son the front cover and
contents page.
You have got buzz words which are always a common and popular
convention.
2. What Genre do you think my Magazine is?
Rock

3. Do you think my magazine pages link well?
Yeah because you have kept the colour scheme going all the way
through it

2. You have also used similar images and kept the mast head going through
it.
4. What do you think could be improved and how?
I think you have too much white space on the contents page
You shouldn’t have the small image and the publishers note going over
the pages as you won’t be able to see it because it’s where the pages
meet.
You should space the writing on the bottom apart a bit more as it looks a
bit squashed.
