Is the video edited to make the narrative
obvious? Do you understand the story?
• ‘The editing does make the narrative and I think the story
line is he loves her more than she does’
• ‘I think it is the story is exploring their relationship.
Showing them fall out, he is more in love than her’

beginning? And then they get together again’

convincing performer’
What have we found out?
• We found that there were various ideas about the feelings that are
being portrayed by the couple in our music video, but all lead to the
same conclusion.
• Overall we found that the locations we used were well liked and
linked with the theme of our music video; as well as having
different favourites.
• There were numerous thoughts on what shots they thought were
most effective, this is something that we thought was positive as
having a range of favourite shots means that there are a wide range
of shots the audience will be attracted to.
• We found that everyone agreed our singer convinced them with
being synchronised properly, as well as finding that all of our focus
group would be convinced into listening to a song by the same
artist.

What have we found out? • We found that there were various ideas about the feelings that are being portrayed by the couple in our music video, but all lead to the same conclusion. • Overall we found that the locations we used were well liked and linked with the theme of our music video; as well as having different favourites. • There were numerous thoughts on what shots they thought were most effective, this is something that we thought was positive as having a range of favourite shots means that there are a wide range of shots the audience will be attracted to. • We found that everyone agreed our singer convinced them with being synchronised properly, as well as finding that all of our focus group would be convinced into listening to a song by the same artist.
