AS Film Studies FM1:
Exploring Film Form

     Creative Project:
      Film Sequence
AS Film Studies
FM1 Creative Project

Brief
   • To work in a group (max 4) and produce a short film sequence

Details
   • 2 minutes approximately in duration
   • Between 15 and 25 shots
   • Each group member will be responsible for a different micro aspect:
cinematography; mise-en-scene; editing; sound. Performance is not
permitted as a ‘role’ for this exercise

Tasks
   • Create a ‘treatment’ for your film sequence. This should provide
context and focus for your film.
   • Create a storyboard. You can then use this as you shoot the sequence.
   • Agree on times and locations for the shoot
   • Edit the sequence using i-Movie. Additional effects can be added using
      Final Cut.
   • Add sound to your sequence. You should use Garageband or Logic to
      for this.
   • Submit work.
   • Write a 750 word evaluation
