Flying cars have been prototypes since the early 1900s but none have reached production. A flying car provides door-to-door transportation by both road and air. Prototypes currently exist but major challenges include developing a propulsion system that is quiet, safe for urban areas, and powerful enough for flight while also being small, as well as addressing the high costs and low efficiency compared to traditional cars or planes. Concerns also exist around safety if used for personal transportation without extensive pilot training and vehicle checks. The flying car remains a common futuristic concept but technological and economic barriers have prevented widespread real-world use.

In accordance with the present dependence on UAVs and Drones, these Unmanned Aerial Vehicles have proved them a great asset. These UAVs are expected to serve a great role in almost every field like military, agriculture, police, disaster management, industrial management, educational field etc. in the coming future which has been described in the given slides.
As the world is hard pressed with the energy and fuel crises, compounded by pollution of all kinds, any technologies that bring out the solutions to this problem is considered as a bounty. In one of such new technologies, is the development of a new car called as compressed air car which does not require any of the known fuels like diesel, petrol, CNG, LPG, hydrogen etc. this works using only compressed air. This replaces all types of to-date known fuels and also permanently solves the problems of pollution as its exhaust is clean and cool measured practically as low as 5ºC. A proto type, a horizontal, single cylinder low speed engine was modified to run on compressed air. Since this engine runs only on high pressure compressed air, the exhaust of which is undoubtedly only air, making it a zero pollution engine. No heat is generated because there is no combustion of fuel, hence this car needs no cooling system and it result in reduced cost, weight, volume and vibration. Early cost analysis shows that it's very cost effective and the operational cost is ten times less than that of petrol or diesel. Experimental analysis were carried out on this modified car to find out its performance characteristics like brake power, mechanical efficiency, overall efficiency, air to Air ratio, volumetric efficiency, cost analysis etc. Though the efficiencies were low as the frictional forces were high for the proto designed engine, however the concept can be applied on a professionally designed engine to improve the car performance.
We are confident that Compressed Air Technology (CAT) holds the key to the automobile's future. At the same time, though we are aware that no one type of vehicle. Can meet all society’s needs. That's why we are pushing ahead with research on a range of Vehicle propulsion technologies.

In the fall of 1962 The Jetsons premiered on prime time television in the United States. For those who remember the show, you may be surprised to learn that the show only ran until the spring of 1963. Of course it has run in syndication ever since and new episodes were created in 1985, 1986 and 1987 as part of the new program, The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera.

HEAVY DUTY AIR TRANSPORT VEHICLE (HDATV)vivatechijri
There are various technologies emerging from Aeronautics and Aerospace fields which results into
different problems being solved yet there are some which will be very beneficiary in near future for military as
well as for civil purpose. We as students are working on a problem which will benefit in our near future. In our
project we are designing an electric propelled HDATV (heavy duty air transport vehicle) which utilizes VTOL
technology. The aircraft which we are designing consists of fuselage with two nacelles at the end of high placed
fixed wing and two horizontal stabilizers and a vertical stabilizer along with it. The fuselage and the nacelles are
lifting bodies that are configured to jointly form an aerodynamic lifting body which cooperates with the horizontal
stabilizer to provide aerodynamic lift to the aircraft in forward flight. The nacelles houses two propellers which
are highly pitched and powered by the BLDC Motors operating in counter-rotating directions. The nacelles will
be designed to perform tilting operation in the direction of flight whenever necessary. The aircraft will be
unmanned and controlled via radio controller. The main aim of our project is to demonstrate the use of electric
VTOL technology and to perform basic tasks like avoiding obstacles, to carry loads and to perform some air
manoeuvres.

All You Need To Know About Flying Boats UK Journal
A flying boat is a kind of fixed-winged seaplane having a hull that lands on water. People often use a flying boat and floatplane interchangeably. However, these are two different transportation modes. The fuselage in flying boats is mainly designed for floatation and comes with a hull. On the other side, floatplanes work on fuselage-mounted floats for buoyancy. The main purpose of the fuselage is to provide buoyancy. Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

2. A flying car is a type of personal air
vehicle that provides door-to-door
transportation by both road and air. The
term "flying car" is often used to
include readable aircraft and hover cars.
Many prototypes have been built since
the first years of the twentieth century,
but no flying car has yet reached
production status.
3. In 1926, Henry Ford displayed an experimental
single-seat aero plane that he called the "sky
flivver". The project was abandoned two years
later when a distance-record attempt flight
crashed, killing the pilot. The Flivver was not a
flying car at all, but it did get press attention at
the time, exciting the public that they would
have a mass-produced affordable airplane
product that would be made, marketed, sold,
and maintained just like an automobile.
4.
5.
6.
7. Aero Mobil currently fly-tests a prototype that obtained
Slovak ultra light certification. When the final product will be
available or how much it will cost is not yet specified.
Urban Aeronautics' X-Hawk is a VTOL turbojet
powered aircraft announced in 2006 with a first flight planned
for 2009.
8.
9.
10. A practical flying car would have to be capable of
safely taking off, flying and landing throughout
heavily populated urban environments. However, to
date, no vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) vehicle
has ever demonstrated such capabilities. To
produce such an aircraft would require a propulsion
system that is quiet, to avoid noise complaints, and
has non-exposed rotors so it could be flown safely
in urban environments. Additionally, for such
aircraft to become airborne, they would require very
powerful engines.
11. Due to the requirement of propulsion that is both small
and powerful, the cost of producing a flying car would
be very high and estimated by some as much as 10
million dollars. In addition, the flying car's energy
efficiency would be much lower compared to
conventional cars and other aircraft; optimal fuel
efficiency for airplanes is at high speeds and high
altitudes, while flying cars would be used for shorter
distances, at higher frequency, lower speeds and lower
altitude. For both environmental and economic reasons,
flying cars would be a tremendous waste of resources.
12. Although statistically commercial flying is
much safer than driving, unlike commercial
planes, personal flying cars might not have as
many safety checks and their pilots would not
be as well trained. Humans already have
problems with the aspect of driving in two
dimensions (forward and backwards, side to
side), adding in the up and down aspect would
make "driving" or flying as it would be, much
more difficult; however, this problem might be
solved via the sole use of self-flying and self-
driving cars
13. The flying car was and remains a common feature
of conceptions of the future, including imagined near futures
such as those of the 21st century. Complaints of the non-
existence of flying cars have become nearly idiomatic as
expressions of disappointment in the failure of the present to
measure up to the glory of past predictions.
14. The flying car has been depicted in many works
of fantasy and flying cars appear in Star Wars where
they are called air speeders, such as those that can
be seen on the planet of Corus cant in all three Star
Wars prequel movies, from 1999's Star Wars:
Episode I science fiction.
