Boer Goats
• is a breed of goat that was developed in South Africa in
the early 1900s for meat production
• commonly have white bodies and distinctive brown
heads, possess long, pendulous ears
• Fast-growing, proven fast-growing weigh 36 kgs at 90
days
• adult male Boer goat weights about 90-100 kgs and an
adult female Boer weights about 70-90 kgs
• Docile, Prolific Breeder and Good mother(3 kid crops in
every two years)
• Polyestrous and reach sexual maturity at 5 months of
age

be sheared
