According to three studies on e-learning: 1) E-learning is becoming an important response to continuous learning needs and will be transformative if its potential is fully realized. 2) Students who use e-learning report being able to learn autonomously and with motivation, pursuing courses intensely and successfully. E-learning supports communication and accommodates different learning needs. 3) Acceptance of e-learning depends on computer ownership, prior experience, and students' perceptions - with acceptance higher for blended or supplemented courses over fully online courses.
