Title: Mari
Act 1:
The two main characters are called Jane & Will whose are two young adults that lead very
different lives from each other but after an event their lives start to entwines with each other.
Jane is a head of a large Mafia family that have eyes and ears everywhere in the city that
Will live in. Will is a gym instructor that is currently in a happy relationship with his girlfriend
called Mari. The one thing that they have in common is that Jane & Will were both orphans
till Will was adopted whereas Jane was left behind. Therefore Jane quickly became a
criminal and joined the mafia as an underling till she worked herself up to the way to the top
and became the head of the Mafia after the original head called Frank retired due to his ill
health.
Act 2:
Jane’s mafia normally specialised in assassinations and drug dealings but they are more
known for assassinations since they leave no evidence behind meaning that they never get
caught. However one day, Mari sees one of the mafia’s members take out one of their target
in an alleyway. Seeing this Mari hides behind one of the trashcans and tried to call the police
for help till the other members sees her and kidnapped her. When Will arrived to his
apartment that he shared with Mari he is confused that she hasn’t arrived home yet. When
he looks at his phone he is more alarmed to see messages from Mari that stated “Please,
Help Me Will! Etc. Before Will can gather his thoughts together his phone buzz and he
answered the call. It’s the police and they want Will to come in for questioning about Mari’s
disappearance that has already been reported by her family.
Once Will is interviewed by the police he is taken to a special secret unit where the head of
the unit Desmond & Ivan offered him an opportunity to save his girlfriend by becoming one of
their recruit and being a double agent. His role as a double agent would be to join Jane’s
mafia and act as their unit’s mole. At first Will refused till Desmond & Ivan tell him that’s the
only way for him to save his girlfriend from the mafia’s clutches. After hearing this Will
accepted their offer and begins his 2 months training.
2 months later and Will is now a qualified Police officer that exceed at his training. Desmond
& Ivan tell him his mission that he must find out the drugs supplies that Jane’s mafia is
supplying to everyone in the city without being caught. But first Will must gain Jane’s
approval of being in the mafia therefore he managed to tracked her down and have a
discussion with him at the bar that she owned. As they sit next to each other and take shots
Jane is happy to take Will in if he can prove his loyalty to her and tell him to come the next
day where he will take his test.
The next day Will entered into the bar to see his girlfriend bruised and extremely skinny tied
to a chair with Jane standing behind her with a smile on her face. Jane tossed a gun to Will
and tell him that his test is that he must shoot his girlfriend. Then Will can join the mafia
otherwise Jane will kill both of them. In the end Will shot Mari in the knee while Jane
applauded afterwards. As she stated that Will is a part of the mafia now and Jane will let his

girlfriend live as long as Will doesn’t betray her. Therefore this makes Mari as a hostage to
keep Will in check. Then Jane called her underlings to take Mari away while Will is forced to
watched her struggled against them.
Act 3:
Will contacted Desmond & Ivan to tell them the new information about his girlfriend but there
is nothing that they can do till they have enough evidence to take Jane to court. Therefore it
is up to Will to gather the information. This resulted into Will doing the dirty work of the mafia
and this caused Will’s mental health to become upset. Whereas Jane just watch his downfall
with a smirk on her face. Throughout this progress Will start visiting a female therapist called
Cassandra at Ivan’s recommendations to help him cope with the things that he has seen in
the mafia. However Will start having an affair with Cassandra whereas Mari is still held as an
hostage by Jane.
After 6 months Jane finally start informing Will about the drug supplies and with this
information the police managed to crackdown on her drug raids and arrested Jane along
with the rest of his mafia. Will know that he risked Mari’s safety in the progress but he could
no longer cope with being in the mafia anymore. Hence Ivan & Desmond interrogated Jane
about Mari and she tell them that he killed her a long time ago and after an investigation the
police couldn’t find her whereabouts. Therefore they come to the conclusion that Mari is
dead while Jane and her mafia get sentenced to life in prison. Once Will find out about Mari’s
death he is grief stricken but Cassandra is there to comfort him and they eventually get
married to each other.
After they get married Will quit being a cop and returned to his normal life as a gym
instructor with Cassandra by his side and they moved to another city for their own protection.
After living together for one year, Will come home to discover that his house is broken into.
But when he entered into the living room he is shocked to find Mari, alive and fit standing on
top of Cassandra’s corpse (Mari killed Cassandra) with a gun pointing towards him. Mari
instructed him to sit on his sofa and Mari begins to explain the events that happened after
Will shot her in the knee. Jane gave Mari as a present to the ex-head of the mafia where the
ex-head made her into his own prostitute while trapping her inside his house. Mari eventually
managed to escape after killing the ex-head and swore to get revenge on Jane. However
after finding out that Jane is in prison and Will have got married to another person.
Alternative Ending 1:
Mari decided to get revenge on Will instead since he left her behind hence why she shot
Cassandra. After explaining her story, Mari shot Will in the head and leaves the house.
Alternative Ending 2:
Before Mari raises the gun to shoot Will in the head, polices sirens can be heard in the
background as the duo finally noticed that there was an ongoing call to 999 coming from
Cassandra’s phone. Cassandra must have hidden the phone behind her back as the duo
realised that she must have made the call without Mari realising it before she killed her. In a
state of panic and frustration, Mari settled to shooting Will in the knee instead while vowing

to come back and finish the job. However, an injured Will pleads to give up and hand herself
in as she leaves the room that they are in. But, Mari is unable to escape since the police
surrounded every inch of the house and arrested her while Will get sent to the hospital.
