This document contains instructions for a role-playing conversation exercise between two students. Student A is asked to ask their partner questions about their childhood home and bedroom. Then Student A will answer questions about their town from their new partner. Student B will answer questions about their childhood home and bedroom, then provide true information about their current town to their new partner. They will both fill out fact files about each other's town or school building.

1. FILE 6 SPEAKING
Student A
1 Ask your partner these questions.
1 Can you describe the house you lived in when you were a child? Where was it?
What rooms were there in the house and where were they?
2 Can you remember your bedroom? What was there in the bedroom? Where was
the bed, table, etc.? What was on the walls?
2 Now answer your partner’s questions.
3 You’re new in your partner’s town. Ask your partner questions about
what there is in the town and complete the fact file.

2 Now ask your partner these questions.
