• We use simile to compare
two objects of different
kinds which have one
point in common.

“like” to introduce
comparison

- It can mean that she is so
beautiful, smells good, or
blooming.

9. METAPHOR
• This is like Simile, but
it compares the
objects into totally
different ideas.
• It is a Simile without
“as…as” and “like”.
• You are my sun.

things with qualities,
