This document outlines a 52-week program to help transform one's life through small positive changes each week. The first two weeks focus on learning to say "no" to unwanted tasks and facing your fears in order to gain clarity and eliminate obstacles to happiness. Readers are instructed to identify things they will refuse this week and two specific fears they will work to overcome through a planned, step-by-step process with preparation and support. Completing this weekly program is intended to take control of one's life by gradually implementing simple success principles and experiencing their benefits long-term.

Motivation is an essential factor that changes positive thought into instant action. It switches a great idea into action and can undoubtedly affect the world around you. However, not all are born with motivation. People sometimes have disbelief in themselves; they often say, “I can’t do that” or “the timing is not right.” Being demotivated means living a life as a worn-out machine. Your life will become dull without any spark. So, to gain inner peace and satisfaction in life, you must always stay motivated.

Lung Cancer: Artificial Intelligence, Synergetics, Complex System Analysis, S...Oleg Kshivets
RESULTS: Overall life span (LS) was 2252.1±1742.5 days and cumulative 5-year survival (5YS) reached 73.2%, 10 years – 64.8%, 20 years – 42.5%. 513 LCP lived more than 5 years (LS=3124.6±1525.6 days), 148 LCP – more than 10 years (LS=5054.4±1504.1 days).199 LCP died because of LC (LS=562.7±374.5 days). 5YS of LCP after bi/lobectomies was significantly superior in comparison with LCP after pneumonectomies (78.1% vs.63.7%, P=0.00001 by log-rank test). AT significantly improved 5YS (66.3% vs. 34.8%) (P=0.00000 by log-rank test) only for LCP with N1-2. Cox modeling displayed that 5YS of LCP significantly depended on: phase transition (PT) early-invasive LC in terms of synergetics, PT N0—N12, cell ratio factors (ratio between cancer cells- CC and blood cells subpopulations), G1-3, histology, glucose, AT, blood cell circuit, prothrombin index, heparin tolerance, recalcification time (P=0.000-0.038). Neural networks, genetic algorithm selection and bootstrap simulation revealed relationships between 5YS and PT early-invasive LC (rank=1), PT N0—N12 (rank=2), thrombocytes/CC (3), erythrocytes/CC (4), eosinophils/CC (5), healthy cells/CC (6), lymphocytes/CC (7), segmented neutrophils/CC (8), stick neutrophils/CC (9), monocytes/CC (10); leucocytes/CC (11). Correct prediction of 5YS was 100% by neural networks computing (area under ROC curve=1.0; error=0.0).
CONCLUSIONS: 5YS of LCP after radical procedures significantly depended on: 1) PT early-invasive cancer; 2) PT N0--N12; 3) cell ratio factors; 4) blood cell circuit; 5) biochemical factors; 6) hemostasis system; 7) AT; 8) LC characteristics; 9) LC cell dynamics; 10) surgery type: lobectomy/pneumonectomy; 11) anthropometric data. Optimal diagnosis and treatment strategies for LC are: 1) screening and early detection of LC; 2) availability of experienced thoracic surgeons because of complexity of radical procedures; 3) aggressive en block surgery and adequate lymph node dissection for completeness; 4) precise prediction; 5) adjuvant chemoimmunoradiotherapy for LCP with unfavorable prognosis.

New Directions in Targeted Therapeutic Approaches for Older Adults With Mantl...i3 Health
i3 Health is pleased to make the speaker slides from this activity available for use as a non-accredited self-study or teaching resource.
This slide deck presented by Dr. Kami Maddocks, Professor-Clinical in the Division of Hematology and
Associate Division Director for Ambulatory Operations
The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, will provide insight into new directions in targeted therapeutic approaches for older adults with mantle cell lymphoma.
STATEMENT OF NEED
Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a rare, aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) accounting for 5% to 7% of all lymphomas. Its prognosis ranges from indolent disease that does not require treatment for years to very aggressive disease, which is associated with poor survival (Silkenstedt et al, 2021). Typically, MCL is diagnosed at advanced stage and in older patients who cannot tolerate intensive therapy (NCCN, 2022). Although recent advances have slightly increased remission rates, recurrence and relapse remain very common, leading to a median overall survival between 3 and 6 years (LLS, 2021). Though there are several effective options, progress is still needed towards establishing an accepted frontline approach for MCL (Castellino et al, 2022). Treatment selection and management of MCL are complicated by the heterogeneity of prognosis, advanced age and comorbidities of patients, and lack of an established standard approach for treatment, making it vital that clinicians be familiar with the latest research and advances in this area. In this activity chaired by Michael Wang, MD, Professor in the Department of Lymphoma & Myeloma at MD Anderson Cancer Center, expert faculty will discuss prognostic factors informing treatment, the promising results of recent trials in new therapeutic approaches, and the implications of treatment resistance in therapeutic selection for MCL.
Target Audience
Hematology/oncology fellows, attending faculty, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL).
Learning Objectives
1.) Identify clinical and biological prognostic factors that can guide treatment decision making for older adults with MCL
2.) Evaluate emerging data on targeted therapeutic approaches for treatment-naive and relapsed/refractory MCL and their applicability to older adults
3.) Assess mechanisms of resistance to targeted therapies for MCL and their implications for treatment selection

About Author
8. Introduction
The purpose of writing this book is to create a manual for those who are looking
forward to a resource to transform themselves. Most of the time we know about the
right actions but we are so hard pressed with time that initiation is not taken. The
power to create that meaningful change is inside all of us and we need a tender
support and guidance to have meaningful and prosperous life. This resource would
help all those who are seeking this transformation and desire to have a lasting positive
change in life.
The process of true transformation is gradual and slow, it cannot be done
instantly. Any immediate change cannot be true and durable. Transformation is not a
one-step process but a series of steps understood and experienced within a proper
time frame. The way of implementing these transformative ideas would be different for
each individual and can only be understood and designed with experience. Reading
can only help you to appreciate it but to bring an enduring positive change you need
to execute and experience its power in your life. Real change would come from the
output you will get by the end of each week.
All ideas presented in this work will not have equal effect on all readers; some
ideas may work well on some individuals in comparison to others, certain ideas may
not be applicable for few readers who may redesign it in their own context. A
complete sincerity towards this transformation process would be the most important
tool to gain the true benefits of this journey. By taking it casually you would only
improve your knowledge about the success principles of your life, which if shared,
could improve the life of someone else. This is not a magic pill which can make you
a star in a day or even in a month, rather it is a gradual process to take the
complete control of your life by making small positive changes every week and create
a complete new you.
9. This is a journey of 52 weeks, which is exactly one year. We will take each step
every weekend, understand the concept for the week and identify the ways to
implement it in your life. You will implement the idea for the whole week i.e. Monday
to Saturday (Week 1) and move on to the next idea again on Sunday and implement
it on Week 2. It will not affect your daily life but will give you a strong but simple tool
to excel your life both at work and in personal life. Once you complete a week you
will be able to understand the concept in proper way and even experience it. You
would be able to find ideas to integrate it in your life. It would be helpful if you could
keep reminding yourself, regularly, about all the learning of previous weeks for each of
remaining weeks. All 52 steps are designed in such a way that it would gel easily
with your life, body, mind, emotions and soul. It would be great if you can give
complete sincerity to these steps without any break as each would give strength to
other. It is like a medicine course which would be effective if done according to
prescription plan.
The ideas are simple and most of them would be known to readers, but somehow
they were not implemented in their life for one reason or other. Readers can
implement it according to the ways specified in the book or design their own methods,
the purpose is to experience the power of the idea and try to make it a part of your
life. All these ideas would cover almost every aspect in your life and would be enough
to transform your life to give you more happiness, satisfaction, success and prosperity.
It is suggested that you should ease the intensity of implementation of an idea or
altogether drop that particular method, if you feel uncomfortable in execution. You can
come back to it later. The objective is to add value in your life not to make you
uncomfortable.
10. WEEK ONE - Learn to say ‘No’
‘No’ is one of the mantra for clarity and happiness. Many times we get engaged
with those tasks and actions which should have never been started, which lead to
pain, suffering and failure. This happens when we are not clear about ourselves, has
hesitation, shyness or hitch. If we could learn to say ‘No’ to things which we do not
want to do, that would save us from unnecessary suffering. ‘No’ should be a clear and
decent rejection of unwanted offer, proposal or idea proposed to you. This does not
mean to insult, appall or harm the other person, but plainly refusing your involvement
in the task. This also does not mean to say ‘No’ to anything & everything and become
a ‘no person’, but to be clear about the things which emotionally and logically do not
suit you and would give you pain and discomfort.
There are several nice ways to say no. People sometimes use humor to reject
something or cite some simple reasons for non-involvement or simply but firmly saying
‘No’ with a smiling face.
It would be great to have more clarity and self-belief in life to be a person with
firm decisions.
Action Step
This week, learn to say ‘No’. Commit not to take any task or do anything which
will bother you or put you at discomfort. Be very clear about the things which you
would never do and would be refused. Write them down now.
11. WEEK TWO - Look in the eye of your fears
Every human being has fears, which resist them to do certain tasks. Fears give
pain, therefore, we refuse to face them or even think about them. With time, these
fears get more and more strength and their interference in our life increases. They will
not go until faced and killed. If you face your fears, it would weaken their intensity
and ultimately eliminate them from your life. This does not mean to do any illogical,
illegal or immoral tasks, like if someone is afraid of water then she should not jump
into deep water without learning swimming or if someone is afraid of snakes she goes
to jungle and catch a poisonous snake without precautions. You need to prepare
yourself to face your fears. If done the right way this fear will vanish from your life. If
you are afraid of public speaking then you must practice well and find smaller
opportunities to present and improve then move on to bigger challenges.
Facing the fear makes our heart beat faster making uncomfortable. This is also a
nice way to know about your fears, anything giving you unease maybe one of your
fear. You can eliminate your fear by taking it head-on with thorough preparation. If you
have fear of driving, then learn it well from an expert and drive on crowded roads,
daily.
Fears are the major obstacle to happiness and fulfillment in our lives, more they
lose strength happier we become. This would be clearly visible to you by the end of
the week.
Action Step
This week we will face two of our fears. Identify two of them, maybe small ones,
and write them down. Plan for the steps to be taken to face them safely, take support
of an expert or a trusted person. Dedicate half week to face each fear, soon they
would lose their strength.
