This presentation defines and enables the readers to understand the concept of modular construction and the aspects and applicability for the execution of modular construction.
1) HEMPCRETE FLOORS AND ROOFS In floors and roofs hempcrete is used in combination with other materials to provide an insulating layer, which can form all, or part, of the insulation layer depending on the building design. 2) HEMPCRETE RETROFIT INFILL PANELS In the restoration or retrofit of traditional and historic buildings hempcrete is often used to replace or repair infill panels in timber frame buildings, or to add insulation to solid walls in old buildings. It is ideal for use in traditional buildings because of its vapour-permeability and its ability (as a wet-mixed, loose-fill material which hardens once applied) to mould itself exactly to unevenly shaped walls in an old building, and support itself without sagging.
Concrete is the most widely used construction material in India with annual consumption exceeding 100 million cubic meters.
High performance concrete is a concrete in which certain characteristics are developed for a particular application and environment, so that it will give excellent performance in the structure in which it will be placed.
A high-strength concrete is always a high performance concrete, but a high-performance concrete is not always a high-strength concrete.

Low cost housing refers to houses that are inexpensive to build. IT doesn't mean that the houses will be inexpensive to live in.
The goal of low-cost housing is to save money while also maintaining buildings quality.
Following Properties Reduces Cost of Construction:
Locally available materials .
Improved skills and technology.
Without sacrificing the strength, performance and life of the structure.

As cement is been involved in various contrived effects to the environment, an alternative is necessary for its impacts reduction.Such alternative is done by completely replacing the cement with silicafume and flyash which are the by-products.

Hybrid optimization of pumped hydro system and solar- Engr. Abdul-Azeez.pdffxintegritypublishin
Advancements in technology unveil a myriad of electrical and electronic breakthroughs geared towards efficiently harnessing limited resources to meet human energy demands. The optimization of hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems plays a pivotal role in utilizing natural resources effectively. This initiative not only benefits humanity but also fosters environmental sustainability. The study investigated the design optimization of these hybrid systems, focusing on understanding solar radiation patterns, identifying geographical influences on solar radiation, formulating a mathematical model for system optimization, and determining the optimal configuration of PV panels and pumped hydro storage. Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions. Additionally, the study provides valuable insights for advancing energy research in economically viable areas. Recommendations included conducting site-specific assessments, utilizing advanced modeling tools, implementing regular maintenance protocols, and enhancing communication among system components.
Water scarcity is the lack of fresh water resources to meet the standard water demand. There are two type of water scarcity. One is physical. The other is economic water scarcity.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.
3. INTODUCTION
• Globally, cement production is
contributing approximately 7% of total carbon
dioxide emission.
• The accumulation of these emissions
contributes to Global Climatic Change.

6. Ferrock, an innovative iron-based binding
compound, presents a carbon-negative
alternative to cement.
FERROCK
9. IRON POWDER
• Iron powder is a by-product of shot blasting.
• During the shot blasting process the iron
powder is ground to a micro-
particle scale(~19.03µm).
• It is respiratory hazard with
working with such a fine material.
10. OXALIC ACID
• It is a chemical promoter, which prevents
oxidization and has the capacity to absorb CO2(by
creating iron oxalate).
• While reacting with the Ferrock mixture, it
chemically reacts with the compound and
transforms it into a bonded carbonate molecule and
therefore has no further threat as an emitting
greenhouse gas.
11. With the introduction of water and compressed carbon
dioxide, the iron oxide begins to chemically react
yielding a new compound, iron carbonate, and emits
hydrogen gas as a by-product.
FeO + CO2 + H2O ---> FeCO3 + H2
13. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Ferrock has similar functional
properties as that of cement in terms of
fresh-state behaviour and workability.
It is stronger than OPC in terms of
compressible and flexural strengths.
It has the capacity to incorporate some
of the salt, especially chlorine ions into
the mineral structures.
15. POTENTIAL APPLICATIONS
Marine applications like breakwater, seawalls, piers, structural
pilings, foundations and other structures exposed to seawater.
Waste water sewers
Fresh water sewers
17. FINANCIAL
BENEFITS
There are 3 possible sources of income for a business based
on Ferrock
• Selling price: Assumed to be the same as cement
• Waste diverted from landfill: Now-a-days companies
are paying for iron powder landfilled.
• Selling of Hydrogen
18. CONCLUSION
As the global population continues to rise, driving
further industrial expansion. The adverse
environmental effects of cement production leads to
the need of such an innovation.
Ferrock, because of its unique properties have the
potential to have a greater influence of the sustainable
well-being of the environment and the prosperity of
human civilization.
