The proposal needs to choose between pleasing everyone or targeting the indie scene, as it cannot do both successfully. The structure of having four recurring content concepts each month will provide familiarity for readers. The unique selling points have not been seen before and will appeal to the target age range of 18-35, as the affordable price suits younger demographics. While some aspects were difficult for older readers to fully understand, the proposal successfully identified the widespread indie genre and matched the content to the target age group.

1. Feedback on my proposal-
I feel that the proposal needs to decide between trying to please everyone or
being aimed at the Indie scene, as I do not feel that you can do both successfully.
The first paragraph is a little confusing with contradictions relating to the above.
I like the clear structure that the magazine will have, based on the 4 content
concepts and feel this will bring familiarity on a monthly basis to the magazine
that the readers will relate too.
The USP’s are unique and not something I have seen before and I feel that these
will appeal to the target age range which seems to be a sensible span and the
price bracket will suit the pocket of this relatively young demographic.
Really like the USP which I feel would appeal to the target market of the mag.
Personally as I am of the older age 40 + (nearly) I found it hard to grip the
complete outline of the proposal but felt that if I was of age it would be
something I would read.
I agree that that the indie genre is more widespread and that the propsal has hit
the nail on the head with the demographic and age group.
