Question 3: What have you learnt
form your audience feedback?
Throughout this whole process of producing and
creating my fashion orientated magazine, I had
gained a new perspective on the outlook and overall
approach of my magazine. At the beginning of the
year we all where evaluated on our pitch and research
on our ancillary tasks which helped me evaluate and
improve the areas in my work I struggled in.The
feedback gained throughout this process I found was
exceedingly helpful and useful to my work as I was
able to gain a brand new fresh perspective on my
blog, by highlight the positive points in my blog as
well as the negetive.
This type of information was vital during the process
of this year, as when creating my product the
positive feedback I gained made me happy with my
work, as all the feedback I gained from my class
mates, teacher and my fellow peers made me feel
confident with the outlook and approach of my
work. The improvement comments I gained on my
work only inspirited me to work harder on improving
and evaluating the information on my blog. Even if I
was personally content and happy with my work the
improvements I gained where helpful in highlighting
the improvement I need to make in my post as well
as the posts I create in the future.
When conducting my research and planning at the
beginning of the year, during my production process I had
to evaluate which target audience I thought would best
suit the type of genre of my magazine. I believe fashion
magazines can conduct a wide/ diverse range of
audiences that’s the reasoning for my broad choice of age
range of females. The posts I included within my blog is
my audience/ target profiles in which I was able to
evaluate which type of people I was attempting to appeal
to within the content of my magazine. I included a range
of different tasks including questionnaire on which
audience age would appeal most to my magazine, and I
included these results within my magazine.
During the production process I also gained feedback
on every single aspect of my magazine, in which has
helped me evaluate both the positives and negatives
of my overall products. After I had completed all the
products of my I wanted to gain some feedback on
which was the some of the products, so I included the
system of feedback we have been previously using
within my lessons. The main thing I wanted to gain
feedback on is if people within my target audience
would want to purchase my magazine. I done this and
achieved this feedback by interviewing someone aged
17 and someone aged 36 so I gained both perspectives
of the spectrum of my target audience.

From the information I gained from my video
research as well as my emails I have sent out to
people in my target audience. I have discovered
the information which I essentially wanted to gain
when producing my post production.The
information I gained back from my target
audience highlights that I am successful in
conducting the approach and aims I was hoping to
achieve at the start of the project. It also highlights
that I included the correct target audience in my
magazine as it has appealed to each side of the
spectrum of my chosen target audience.
I believed in my final products successful in
achieving my chosen target audience, as it
appealed to all different age groups in which was
the aim I wanted to gain. I also discovered that I
absolutely loved working with that diverse age
group of females. I admired how much they loved
my work and how much it appealed to them from
the reaction I gain from all of them. I took my time
when creating the content of the magazine as I
wanted to appeal and address mostly all ages of
women and not single out a certain generation.
The feedback I have gained throughout the
process of this project of making and creating my
magazine along with the website and billboard,
has exceedingly helped me achieve the goal I was
hoping to gain. The positive comments and
improvements helped me along the way and
continued to help make my work appear better.
This shows the actual importance of gaining
feedback from your peers to help evaluate your
work as it has been a massive advantage in this
process.
