1) The student has cognitive and emotional disabilities and displays behaviors like intimidating peers, lying, outbursts, and insubordination. The advisor meets with him weekly to work on social skills, referrals, anger management, and positive experiences. 2) The student lives with adoptive parents and siblings. His biological mother has mental illness. He receives special education services and support. 3) With treatment, medication adjustments, and support from home and school, the student's self-esteem and behavior have improved. He is making efforts to be more self-aware and make positive choices. The family and school work as a team to support the student.
