June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202

Honest Reviews of Tim Han LMA Course Program.pptxtimhan337
Personal development courses are widely available today, with each one promising life-changing outcomes. Tim Han’s Life Mastery Achievers (LMA) Course has drawn a lot of interest. In addition to offering my frank assessment of Success Insider’s LMA Course, this piece examines the course’s effects via a variety of Tim Han LMA course reviews and Success Insider comments.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

2. Task 2: Idea Development and Planning U9 2.1
You could create a mood board of images related to your product. They could be inspirational or visually interesting.
Analyse what you have gathered.
Decide on content and think about how you will structure your piece – consider the conventions of your chosen
style/genre, think about the best methods to appeal to your audience.
Finally work out a production schedule for the project. Once you have a final proposal, begin to plan how you intend to
realise your project and what you will need to create/collect.
Planning will vary depending on if you are doing a web series, podcast or a fanzine.
Web-series: A script, storyboard, organisational docs and clearance forms for your contributors/sources.
Fanzine: Content outline, visual style, pagination, organisational documents.
Podcast: Script, organisational docs, clearance forms for your contributors/sources.
4. Mood board analysis
Colours: the colour scheme for most of the
photos is pretty similar as you have the
green of the grass then you have the vibrant
colours from each teams kit which can range
from red to yellow and blue to orange.
Content: the content of all of these pictures
involves football whether it be an live game
picture or the league table. This will all be useful
in my fanzine as I will be using similar images to
these to include inside.
Target audience: the pictures chosen all relate to the
target audience as my fanzine will be targeting young
teens up until young adults, this audience has been
chosen as that is the prime time for someone to get into
football, the variety of images shows diversity in football
which is what my audience will be interested in.
Style: the style of a couple of the images are cartoons, I
chose these because they are representative of the
classic style of fanzine which I would like to minorly
incorporate in my work.
5. Content: Single Pages
Page 1 is the front cover of
the fanzine, here I
experimented and
practiced a few things to
make this mock-up cover
which will be like my front
cover.
Contents
Page 4-5:
Premier league recap and
predictions
Page 6-7:
Chances for disabled and
disadvantaged people to get
involved
Page 8-9:
Champions league line-ups and
predictions, transfer window
news
Page 10-11:
How football has helped people
with personal issues
Page 2 is the contents page,
this will tell you what page
each article is on, each page
will be numbered. Here is
an extremely quick mock-
up made on PowerPoint of
roughly what it will look
like.
Page 3 is going to be where
an advert will be, the
advert you see here is just
off google but I will include
an advert I will make myself
that is relevant to the
theme of the fanzine.
H A L F T I M E
Page 12 will be the back
cover which will end up
being quite simple as it
doesn’t get looked at as
much, this is just a quick
mock-up I made on
PowerPoint.
6. Double Page:
Pages 4-5
Here I will build a
replica version of
the league table
where I will put
the teams in
what position I
think they will
finish at the end
of the end of the
season
Here is the title for this
page spread
Here I will attempt to edit a
player that I think will win an
award with that award in
their hands
This is where I will
include image
highlights from the
game that’s being
talked about.
In these texts
boxes I will
include details on
the match and
my opinions on
how each team
played.
In the text boxes
on this side I will
write down my
predictions and
explain as to why I
have chosen
these.
7. This text box here is for a
written version of the
interview I will
(hopefully) have with
Oli, it will include the
best questions with
shortened answers.
Here will be a couple of
pictures from Oli’s football
career and a screenshot or
two from the interview.
This title is very
interactive and
encourages people to
read.
These two texts
boxes will discuss
about disability
football and how
the readers can get
involved and the
huge impact it has.
The pictures here
will be pictures
from disability
football games and
training to show
people its possible
and is out there to
try.
Double Page:
Pages 6-7
8. In these boxes of text
here I will be discussing
different teams transfer
windows and how
successful they were.
Here will be an
image of the clubs
best or worst
transfer from the
summer window.
Double Page:
Pages 8-9
This title is quite open so the
reader will be interested to read
the article.
In these text boxes
here, I will
discussing the
champions league
groups and also my
predictions for the
champions league
Here I will try to
edit an image of
the team I think
will win the
champions league
celebrating with
the 21/22 trophy.
9. Double Page:
Pages 10-11 This block of
text here will
be sharing
Ronaldo’s
story of his
living
situation
growing up
compared to
where he is
now.
The images will
show how he has
changed from
how he was as a
kid to how he is
now.
Here I will be
sharing Trent’s
story about how
hard work pays
off and also how
you do also need
a little bit of luck.
The images
here will show
how Trent has
developed
from a young
academy player
to being the
best RB in the
world.
This title is a classic phrase used to describe
someone who started off with nothing to become
a superstar.
10. Planning:
Interview: I have a friend who knows a
footballer in the English league- League One, he
is trying to talk to him to see if he will be willing
to do a short interview with me, as backup I
have tried to get in contact with other lower
level footballers in hope of getting a small
amount of their time to do an interview.
Pictures: For images I will be using taking most
of them from the internet if the owner allows
me to do so, I will also be editing these images
to make them my own and unique, I also have
some images my friend has sent me from
football matches he has been to himself that he
has given me permission to use.
Article content: I have been doing my research so I
know what I need to be talking about in my article
sections.
11. Production Schedule:
Day Task Description
Week 1 (1) Front cover I will begin to start the edit for the front cover, I will start by constructing a logo for the fanzine then move onto getting a good
background image and edited.
Week 1 (2) Front cover I will then need to add text in fancy ways to the front cover and any other small images that may need adding and editing onto
the front page
Week 1 (3) Contents/Advert Once that is done I will move onto a contents page by finding a good background for it then finding a good font, I will also need
to create my own original advert that relates to my fanzine topic.
Week 2 (1) Back cover After making sure they are done I will move onto making a back cover which wont need to be as detailed as the front and will
need a background picture.
Week 2 (2) Pages 4-5 Once that is complete I can move onto the inside, I’ll do the double page spreads in order and will aim to complete half of the
page a day, here I will need to type up my report on the premier league weekend.
Week 2 (3) Pages 4-5 Then moving onto the other half I will need to create my own premier league table with my predictions then I will also have to
edit an award into someone's hands.
Week 3 (1) Pages 6-7 Onto the next pages I will have to type up about disability football and mention certain clubs that allow this with some images
to follow.
Week 3 (2) Pages 6-7 Then on the other side I will type up the interview that I have, I will only use the key questions and shorten down the answers, I
will also upload screenshots from the online video call we have.
Week 3 (3) Pages 8-9 After that I will move onto the Champions League page where I will give my predictions once again and I will also have to edit a
trophy onto the team I believe will win for one of the images.
Week 4 (1) Pages 8-9 On this side I will be talking about the summer transfer window where I will discuss which teams had a good window and who
could have improved.
Week 4 (2) Pages 10-11 Onto the final double page spread I will be talking about Trent Alexander Arnold and his glow up story and how he got to
where he is.
Week 4 (3) Pages 10-11 Similarly on the other side I will be typing up Cristiano Ronaldo’s back story, then once that is done I will check over all the
