Why ask a question when you can understand from what you see, hear, touch and feel. The personality of a person is written in the clothes they wear, the position they sit or stand, their facial expressions and more importantly the tone they use to describe their thoughts
Briefing on how to recognize and best leverage different temperaments base on facial characteristics. Useful tips for business and personal life when managing or interacting with lots of people.
Body Language is the unspoken communication that goes on in every Face-to-Face encounter with another human being.
It tells you their true feelings towards you and how well your words are being received.
A simple roll of the eyes or hand gesture may be all it takes to convey 100% of what we mean, no words, no tone, only 7-10% is attributable to the actual words we use in a conversation.

Our personality is what specifies us. It is our technique of talking, walking, dressing up, nonverbal communication and such traits that make or maybe mar our impression about others.

As designers, we are lucky enough to get to interact with many different types of people during the course of our work. We observe people using technology and proposed design solutions. While working on our projects, we collaborate directly with our team, clients, and stakeholders to bring a solution to life. All of this interaction exposes us to lots of body language. The language of the body offers up many hints and insights into what people are thinking and feeling. It’s been said that our bodies tell what is really on our minds, and it’s important to know not only what others might be telling you but what you could be telling them.
It’s important for designers to have a fundamental understanding of body language and what are key signs to look for when interacting with users or project teams. There are key patterns that, when observed correctly, can tell you if someone is supportive of your idea, hiding their true feelings, or simply sitting back and daydreaming the meeting away.
Observing non-verbal communication cues is only one side of the coin, though—the other side being your own body language. Inherently knowing the patterns and signs of the body opens your eyes to the messages you might be giving off. The ability to manage your own body language is something that can be learned and mastered, helping you become a better collaborator and communicator.
Participants will walk away from this session with basic knowledge of how to read and respond to common non-verbal communication patterns and learn how to better manage their own non-verbal communication. They will be armed with additional resources to continue on their path of mastering the language of the body.

How to build self confidence - here is a slide show which takes you through 10 steps to grow and improve your self confidence and embrace the challenges in life
We all are pretty smart people, and we do know that like everything else even confidence wavers in our lives. The crude definition of self confidence is the belief in oneself that we can really do something. And this belief is put to test when things around us go completely wrong and we are still supposed to believe in ourselves, esp when no one else around us does.
No wonder it is tough and no wonder we seek assistance although we know that we have everything we need within ourselves to solve every simple problem. Today we are going to fixate on that problem which is bugging you from a while and develop the necessary confidence to get over it.
Here is a step by step procedure on how to build self confidence
Our faces reveal multitudes about what we are thinking, feeling, intending. A slack jaw hints that we’ve been surprised, flared nostrils suggest hostility. Drooping eyelids indicate sadness or perhaps just … exhaustion. This is to say nothing of the powerful messages communicated by the face in the embarrassed downward glance, the flirtatious “look away,” or the piercing stare.
Because our facial expressions are reliable indicators of our true emotional state, they are a liespotter’s best friend. While not every lift of the eyebrows or tightening of the lips will yield an infallible “truth” or “lie” verdict, trained liespotters can glean much from careful study of the face.
This presentation is based on the book liespotting - proven techniques to detect deception by Pamela Meyer, founder and CEO of Calibrate, a leading deception detection training company.
The presentation on "How to Detect a Lie" will provide attendees with an in-depth understanding of the science behind detecting deception in human behavior.
Deception is a common aspect of human interaction, and it can have serious consequences in many contexts, from personal relationships to business dealings to legal proceedings. During the presentation, we will discuss the various techniques and strategies that experts use to identify deception in others, including body language analysis, verbal cues, and other indicators.
We will explore the psychological and physiological factors that underlie deceptive behavior, including the role of stress and emotional arousal in lying. We will also examine the limitations of lie detection methods, such as false positives and negatives, and the ethical considerations involved in using these techniques.
Attendees will come away from the presentation with a solid understanding of how to detect deception in their personal and professional lives, as well as an appreciation for the complexity of human behavior and the challenges involved in identifying deceptive conduct. This presentation will be of interest to anyone who wants to improve their ability to read people and make more informed decisions in their interactions with others.
The purpose of this book is to acquaint all with the elements of human nature and enable them to read these elements in all men, women and children in all countries. At least fifty thousand careful examinations have been made to prove the truthfulness of the nature and location of these elements. More than a million observations have been made to confirm the examinations. Therefore, it is given the world to be depended upon. Taken in its entirety it is absolutely reliable. Its facts can be completely demonstrated by all who will take the unprejudiced pains to do so. It is ready for use. It is practical. Use it.
An effective, practical and hands-on guide to help you with enhancng your communication skills for work and life.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

What Should be the Christian View of Anime?Joe Muraguri
We will learn what Anime is and see what a Christian should consider before watching anime movies? We will also learn a little bit of Shintoism religion and hentai (the craze of internet pornography today).
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
2. The Earth Face
This type of face resembles square shape
The complexion tends to be ruddy, the hair
often bushy and the eyes somewhat red but
expressive of authority
The nose and the mouth also will tend to be
wide, lips are quite thin and the teeth small
The earth face is an indicator of toughness
and determination, and are more likely to be
utterly stubborn
The energy levels are high and there is a
tendency to immediately leap to conclusions
before the facts are fully known
His temper is quick and unpredictable
This type of person can impulsively get
himself to trouble
He lacks inner strength to extricate himself
without considerable help
He enjoys good health and active social life
4. Ear positioning
The angle of the ears is determined by imagining
a line starting at the eyebrows and then continuing
through the ear-hole itself to the back of the head.
According to the well- established rules the
further back the ears are the more intelligent the
person is likely to be.
If the ear is set two thirds of the way back from
the eyebrows it indicates average intelligence.
5. The Straight hair line
The possessor of this feature commonly
thinks that there is a place for everything,
and that everything should be in its place.
Mostly straightforward and conventional,
people with this style of hair growth can be
some what unimaginative and plodding
Those with a short straight hair line are
rather self -obsessed and possibly have
repressed desires. It reveals unhappy
childhood and need for affection . It is also
likely considered that such a person will
have many serial relationships and prone to
black moods. This sort of hair line is
symbolically connected to the metal
element
6. Trident – like creases
If the two outer lines of a three
crease formation incline outwards,
the indications are fortunate but
marred somewhat by an
unpleasant, peevish and rather
self-indulgent personality.
7. The Eyes
In western culture the eyes are said to be the windows of the soul,
and that is very much the case in Chinese face reading. The eyes are
the single most important feature of the face and are considered to
control all the other characteristics including the nose , which is
otherwise described as the emperor of the face. When practicing
this ancient art the interpretation of the appearance and areas
around the eyes is the usual starting point . This is because the eyes
alone remain the same throughout life whereas the nose, ears,
hairline, and mouth are subject to change through growth and
ageing.
8. Crossed or ‘ scissor-like’ crows
feet signify a difficulty in
admitting mistakes or accepting
advice
9. The Angry Eye
The angry eye is notable for
concentric circles within the iris.
Its also known as wheel eye.
People with such eyes are noted
for their physical presence than
their mental acuteness, less of a
thinker and more of a doer.
Person’s desires are usually
accomplished even If they bring
chaos in their wake.
The possessor of this type of eye
is rarely aware of what he has
done wrong and will be
astonished by the negative
expressions of emotions he
encounters from people he has
inadvertently offended
10. The Eyebrows
The eyebrows are one of the most mobile features of the face.
Along with the eyes and mouth they rise and fall with changes of
mood and are most expressive of the character. Without the visual
stimuli that the eyebrows provide it would be almost impossible to
detect the emotional state or mental attitude of a given person.
This is perhaps the reason that Queen Elizabeth I of England and
the Mona Lisa shaved theirs off to highlight an enigmatic aspect
11. Upward-growth of eyebrow hairs
This feature is another indicator
of courage but it can also show a
tendency to have a foul, and easily
aroused temper. Tactlessness is an
obvious character trait of this kind
of hair growth. The possessor of
this type of eyebrow will often
speak before he thinks and act
without forethought.
12. oval-shaped nostrils
The fortunate possessor of oval-
shaped nostrils will very astute
and do well financially. He will
always have a back-up plan if ill
fortune strikes
13. The Sword Nose
As the name implies this type of nose is long,
sharp and pointed. It is generally bony and
hard to touch. The possessor of this type of
nose is not the easiest person to get to know.
He may seem aloof and unapproachable, yet
underneath a natural reserve he is kindly. His
relationship with his family will have often
been tempestuous and there may be unresolved
issues concerning his birth or early life. He
may take his time in adapting to new situations
but will generally be successful in life. The
emperor napoleon Bonaparte possessed a
splendid example of a sword nose
14. The wide mid point
philtrum
A philtrum who’s widest point is
in the mid section is not
considered as an active channel
but rather as a still lake. This
generally indicates a period of
stagnation in one’s affairs around
the age of fifty. It may also
suggest a period of illness,
desperation or loss around this
time
15. The perfect lips
The proportions of the lips, and
indeed the mouth as a whole
should be moderate and of equal
size with both the upper and lower
portions, even and of a light red
colouration. This denotes a
character that is stable and honest.
In case of man, the lips should be
firm but not too hard, while in the
case of a woman they should be
soft but not flabby
16. Mole Cheekline
The possessor of a mole in this
region is not a saver and would far
rather indulge his whims than
invest for the future. He may also
be constantly dissatisfied in his
job. In some cases the presence of
a blemish or mole on the cheek
line can warn of danger in the 55th
or 56th
year. However, a red mark
or mole on the tip of the tongue
will neutralize this ominous
prediction
17. The rounded chin
This type of chin is associated with
emotional warmth and open hearted
generosity. It also signifies a certain personal
ease and the ability to make the best of any
situation . A person possessing this sort of
chin will make himself at home in any
company and adapt his responses to his
surroundings. If this sort of chin also happens
to be short, all the above characteristics are
emphasized while adding charm to personal-
makeup. A rounded chin that is longer and
more prominent usually indicates someone
who can use his charm to good advantage,
winning people to his side and easily out
maneuvering rivals. This type of person
would make an excellent populist politician.
