This paper presents a novel speech enhancement technique aimed at reducing residual musical noise generated by perceptual speech enhancement algorithms, specifically leveraging a psychoacoustic model to optimize Wiener filtering. The proposed method improves the intelligibility and quality of speech in noisy environments by minimizing audible residual noise without degrading clarity. Simulation results indicated superior performance compared to traditional Wiener and perceptual Wiener filtering methods, demonstrating effective noise reduction across various noise types.
