pieces in the history of artwork. The Lamassu is an enormous piece in weight as well
as height. The Colossal Statue of King Tutankhamen is also an enormous piece, but
instead, the height is the only thing that sets it apart from the Statue of King
Tutankhamen. The height of both pieces is very intimidating because they are both
taller in relation to people. With both pieces being this tall, the viewer is able to
interact with the pieces more than the smaller ones. The statues are both reliefs, but
the Colossal Statue of King Tutankhamen is around relief. This statue allows the
viewers to walk around the statue and get a clear idea of what the artist was trying
to express with this piece. The Lamassu is also a relief sculpture, but instead, the
viewer is unable to fully walk around the relief. This artwork can only be seen from
the very front as well as the side, this was how the artist intended to express the
artwork.
The artwork is similar as well as very different in many ways. The styles of birth of

We live in a world where there is lots of judging and I believe people may not even
give some art pieces a chance. In the 1940s, Christian Petersen sculpted a plaster
figure of George Washington Carver. According to an article from Iowa State

According to Early Dempsey, a disciple is a person, while discipleship is a process. A
disciple is a passionate follower of Jesus Christ who is intimately involved in the
mission of Christ. On the other hand, discipleship is the process of moving the
disciple towards spiritual maturity and the mission of Christ. Being a disciple is God
s perfect will for every individual life; however, discipleship is God s will for every
individual church [1]
The Great Commission denotes that disciples must be made. Many worship
opportunities have been provided by the church such as fellowship, bible study and
church events that will aid in developing the mind set of Christ, being obedient to the
commands of Christ, engaging in his commission and being transformed into His
image. According to Jesus disciples need to be made and informed.
How disciple are made? According to Disciple Shift, pastor and author Jim Putman
describes diverse stages of spiritual growth with simplicity. In defining these five
spiritual growth stages he informs the reader of their beliefs and how the local church
and a Christian community should implement a plan to help individuals to maturity
in reaching these stages: spiritually dead, spiritual infants, spiritual children, spiritual
young adults, and spiritual parents.
