Example Of An Outline For An Essay
Crafting an essay on the topic of "Example of an Outline for an Essay" may seem deceptively
simple at first glance, but delving into the intricacies of constructing an effective outline can
prove to be quite challenging. The difficulty lies in striking the right balance between providing a
clear framework for the essay and ensuring flexibility for the development of ideas.
One challenge is determining the appropriate level of detail for each section of the outline. Too
much detail may result in a rigid structure that stifles creativity, while too little detail can lead to
a lack of guidance for the essay's content. Achieving the right equilibrium requires a nuanced
understanding of the subject matter and a keen awareness of how the essay's argument will
unfold.
Another complexity arises in choosing the most suitable organizational pattern for the outline.
Different topics and purposes may demand various structures, such as chronological, spatial, or
cause-and-effect. Deciding on the right approach involves considering the nature of the subject,
the target audience, and the overarching goal of the essay.
Furthermore, one must navigate the challenge of ensuring coherence and logical progression
within the outline. Transitioning seamlessly from one point to the next is crucial for maintaining
the reader's engagement and comprehension. This demands a meticulous examination of the
relationships between ideas and a strategic placement of supporting evidence.
In addition, the writer must be conscious of the potential for bias in the outline. Personal
perspectives and assumptions can inadvertently shape the structure, potentially leading to a one-
sided presentation of the topic. Striving for objectivity and inclusivity while still maintaining a
compelling argument requires a delicate balance.
In conclusion, writing an essay on the topic of creating an outline presents its own set of
challenges. It necessitates a careful consideration of detail, organizational patterns, coherence,
and objectivity. Aspiring essayists must navigate these complexities to produce an outline that
serves as a strong foundation for a well-crafted and persuasive essay.

On a sunny summer morning at my house the annoying birds woke me up as
always, but this was not an ordinary day. I was going to my friend Bruno s house. His
house was just on the other side of Lake Tranquility. There was two weeks of
summer left before we had to go back to jail which is also known as school. I was
going to go to his house at 11:50 in the morning. I had pancakes with syrup for
breakfast, then I got my clothes on and packed a bathing suit in a bag for Bruno s
house, because he has a pool. I watched Netflix and played on my kindle for a
while. Evan we got to go now, my mom yelled. Coming! I yelled back. We got into
the car drove over a couple hills, took a couple turns, went up a big hill, and took a
left , then we were there. Hi Bruno, I yelled. Hi, He yelled back. Let s go inside,
Bruno said. We walked inside his house and looked at all of his Legos. He has like
a million of them. That s something we both have in common. We both love
LEGOS! After looking and playing with his legos for like fifteen minutes we went
outside and played tackle football. Our favorite part about playing tackle football
with each other is the tackle part. We both love to tackle each other. Hike! , I yelled
as I dodged a tackle from Bruno. Running and tackling forever, always getting a
chance to score a touchdown. After playing football we went inside and got a cold
glass of water with Goldfish. While we were sitting at the table I said ,Hey Bruno
The Nurses Role In North Cypress Medical Center
North Cypress Medical Center continues to strive to be one of the most respected
hospital organizations in Texas. The organization philosophy of nursing practice
involves being the leader in superior, affordable, patient care. The nurse utilizes this
principal by making sure to perform skills the right way the first time such as foley
catheter insertions and IV infusions. The nurseknows the patient is charged for all
equipment, and having to discard equipment because of unsterile techniques causes
increased inconvenience for the patient. Also, North Cypress Medical Center creates
a comfortable environment from admission to discharge. One of the most important
roles the nurse play is to make sure all patient needs are meet. The beliefs of nursing

examples from the text and provide the theories that fall behind the problems. After
explaining the examples I will provide some real world application and some

In this example the table shows where an employer was asked to hire more
employees in order to cover 100 departments with 30 different areas. Each new
employee would work in areas 1, 2, and 3. The area assigned to the employee
would be determined by the employer him/herself. The table above givens an
example of how it will go. Then the overall question would be how the assigned
areas would be split up.
When it comes to converting the table above into a graph to the answer, I am at a
little bit of a loss. The employee numbers 1, 2, and 3 would then be converted into
vertices D1, D2, and D3 and the different areas into A1, A2, and A3 which is shown
in the diagram below: In the diagram you have to replace the S s with D s and the C s
with the A s.
I believe the assigned areas would be given to the employees by the employer. An
employer would be assign to an employee by random. The employee would follow
the employer s number through the graph. This would start in area 1 and continue
on through 3. If you have 100 employers and 30 employees they would be assigned
in areas as 34, 33, and 33 this would allow all areas to be covered and the jobs

Alaska or Bust: The Two Men That Believed Alaska Had All the Answers
As Christopher Johnson McCandless once said: The core of mans spirit comes
from new experiences (Krakauer, 57). Society has given the majority of the human
population a predetermined cookie cutter lifestyle for which they must follow in
order to be accepted. This includes which virtues to follow, how to interact with
others, and what is and what is it not acceptable. For many people, fitting into this
mold is the only way they know how to live, but for a select few, it is quite the
opposite. This small group of individuals dedicates their lives to living outside of
social norms and opposing others instructions of how to live their lives. They are

Timothy Treadwell, made famous after the biographical documentary Grizzly Man
was released, spent thirteen summers in Katmai National Park in Homer, Alaska
living amongst the region s wild brown bears before he was ultimately killed and
consumed by them. No one quite understood why he decided to spend so much
time with the dangerous carnivores, but onecan only speculate on the decisions that
led to his tragic end. He was believed to have suffered from alcoholism and drug
addiction. The self proclaimed bear whisperer not only yearned not only for a
connection with the bears, but many believed also for their acceptance. He devoted
his life trying to convince society that the bears needed his help, but there is
controversy as to if he did more bad than good in his so called efforts to aid in their
protection.
Formally known as Timothy Dexter, the young Timothy Treadwell from a middle
class family in Long Island, New York, was known to many as a struggling
aspiring actor who struggled with drug abuse and alcoholism. In his youth,
Treadwell was a gifted diver for his high school. His pure talent brought him a
scholarship to Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, as well as the ability to set
many records for his school that would remain to be untouched to this day. Right
before his junior year, he sustained a back injury that ultimately made him lose his
scholarship and ended his diving career. Unable to face the tragedy, he
Examples Of Slips Of The Tongue
Sigmund Freud believes that there is a source (of ideas) outside the speech. It
(speech blunder] is thus a means of self betrayal. (Freud, The Psychopathology of
Everyday Life (p. 69)) It is somehow true and almost every one of us could
experience the feeling of self betrayal . Have you ever experience a moment when
you thought Oh no! Why did I say that word? or I couldn t control myself, the word
just blurted out of my mouth! ? These are normal, according to Freud, and they
reflect the unconscious thoughts in our mind which we try to suppress it. Not just
normal people like us make slips of the tongue but also politicians, teachers and
even professional linguists. One of the famous examples of slips of the tongue is
from Reverend William A. Spooner who said God is a shoving Leopard when he
actually meant to say God is a loving shepherd . In our daily lives, we make slips of
the tongue as well. Sometimes we realize... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Looking from cognitive psychologists perspective, those slips may be occurred due
to cognitive problem. Cognitive problem could possibly take place in different
forms inattention, incomplete sense data or insufficient knowledge. (Ronald W.
McLeod, 2015) Also, they may be due to the existence of some locally appropriate
response pattern that is strongly supported by its prior usage or emotional change.
For example, a student whose doing presentation in front of a crowd might
accidentally say Today I m doing to go a presentation on... instead of Today I m
going to do a presentation on... . This happens because of the feeling of anxiety
experienced by language speaker. Or, language speaker could make slips of the
tongue because of their insufficient knowledge on certain topic or
Why the Communists Failed to Seize Power in 1918 Essay
Why the Communists Failed to Seize Power in 1918 The failure of the communists
to seize power originates from the First World War. Initially, all parties, including the
Left, supported Germany going to war. As the war prolonged however and Germany
was running short of essential supplies such as food as a result of the blockade by the
allies. More Germans started questioning the rational of continuing with the war. The
Parliament also changed its attitude. Left wing parties like the SPD that had initially
supported Germany going to war began to have doubts. Internal conflicts let to the
formation of the Independent German Social Democratic Party, USPD. Another far
extreme party, the Spartacist party... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They organized antiwar demonstrations and strikes. Still, those in power did not
think the government was under any threat. The country was not ready for a
revolution even though the morale was low as a result of the defeat in the First
World War and there was shortage of essential supplies including food and
medicine as a result of the blockade by the allies. The nation was generally in a
state of turmoil. There was a general feeling especially within the left wing that time
was ripe for a break from the capitalist government. The monarchy was overthrown
and a provisional government set up. A network of soldiers and workers councils
was established nationwide. However, the SDP being the government of the day
controlled the councils. In the councils there were more delegates who were SDP
than workers delegates.[1] This meant that the SDP controlled both the government
ant the councils. They also had the support of the masses. The councils were also
weakly coordinated. The main factors that contributed to this failure were the
following: Г Unlike Russia, Germany was an advanced industrial nation with a
solid and powerful capitalist class. The middle class was strong and influential. Г
Unlike their counterparts in Russia and France, the German working class had
benefited from several welfare measures since the 1800s. The army had had glorious
Slavery In Venezuela
Venezuela s economic development began long ago when Christopher Columbus
discovered it on one of his voyages to the new world. The development started with
the colonial experience led by the Spanish. In the 1500s word had spread that there
were pearls and rare precious metals to be found in Venezuela. With the newly found
pearls, the Spanish colonizers started developing extractive policies to harvest these
pearls and metals to the point where new ways and resources had to be found. In the
1520 s, instead of extracting resources and treasures from Venezuela, the Spanish
began extracting their native people, taking the people for slavery. The slaves that
were extracted from Venezuela were used to supply the growing need for labor in the

the public debt, and an extremely high inflation rate of 56.2% in 2013 raising from

the country. Poor leadership in Venezuela has driven the country s economy into a
downward spiral. Having one of the larger resource endowments among the
developing countries, it is questionable how there are so many problems with its
economy. Since the 1920s Venezuela s economy has been primarily driven by
their vast availability of petroleum. Being a member of the OPEC, Venezuela s
main export is oil. The powerful oil industry in Venezuela is driven by their state
run petroleum company Petroleos de Venezuela S.A PDVSA. Venezuela sits on
top of the world s largest oil reserves and this oil based economy accounts for
roughly 50 percent of government revenue, 95 percent of Venezuela s exports, and
25 percent of Venezuela s GDP, just in oil alone. With a population of 29.9 million
people (estimated in 2012) the country has a per capita GDP of $12,756. Venezuela
is highly dependent on oil revenues, these oil revenues account for around 96% of all
export earnings. Venezuela s development faces various challenges being a
African American Civil War And The Period Of
Reconstruction
After the Civil War and the period of Reconstruction there were many political, social
and economic changes which continued to affect the society. The role of African
Americans in society changed after the abolishment of slavery. This new freedom and
opportunities were not much greater than before when slavery existed. Despite
reconstruction efforts, African Americans faced discrimination. Society as a whole
was altered extensively at this time.
After the civil war, political changes affected African Americanlives significantly.
African Americans were freed of slavery by the 13th amendment and the 14th
amendment guaranteed their citizenship, Everyone born or naturalized in the US
were granted citizenship and were equal under the law (Doc 1). After about 250
years of slavery, African Americans were finally free of slavery (Johnson, 2000).
Though they were free, they had nowhere to go and no money to spend, They were
sent away empty handed, without money, without friends, and without a foot of land
to stand upon (Doc 2). Former owners used their power to place limitations on
emancipation. The former slaves had to end up working for their former masters and
borrowing land/money from them. As many people disagreed with the decision of the
13th amendment, many hate groups started to appear. Most commonly known group
was the KKK founded Tennessee, 1865 ( Ku Klux Klan, n.d.). They took it upon
themselves to hurt African Americans in various ways, People have been driven

Is Social Justice Fair
A conversation about justice can strike up many questions. Including, can there be
justice for all? Is social justice fair, or just what is appropriate for a particular
situation? Does the majority have more say than the minority? Is the law always just?
Can there be equality for the minority without taking privileges from the majority?
There are many problems with the society determining the definition of just. One is,
if the majority is allowed to create the terms of justicethe ethics of minorities will
usually be treated as less important, or completely ignored. Also, to determine if
something is just or unjust one has to evaluate if it encourages or prevents fairness of

It is fair justice, not just applied to the law, but in all aspects of society. The ideas of
individual rights, civil, economic, and social equality promote social justice. Also it
demands that everyone has equal rights from the poor to the rich, minority or
majority. One cannot turn a blind eye and rely on society to make social justice
decisions it is an individual decision. Although social justice is one that should be
personal it is also very international, and something many people will never
experience. Even today, in America, many injustices occur. This proves that although
America has made significant strides in becoming fair, there are many steps that need
to be immediately implemented. Rather than silently watching injustice occur we

The Symbolism In Sorrow Of War
Throughout the novel Sorrow of War , The author Bao Ninh uses the symbolism of
alcohol to serve as hope to further demonstrate the sorrow in vietnamese soldiers, and
the loss of identity in soldiers.
In the novel alcohol is used as a symbol to further emphasize the sorrow of post war
soldiers. In the text Cu states I ve tried to discipline myself, to fulfill my duties, no
disobedience, no gambling, no alcohol, no dope, no women, no swearing. And for
what? All for nothing! I m not jealous, just depressed (20). It s clear that the alcohol
serves as a way to think positive in the harsh war an escape route for the mind of the
soldiers per say. Cu describes himself as depressed so essentially alcohol serves as
a symbol of hope for the soldiers a way out, hope that they will make it through war
and back home. In addition the author further emphasizes the need for alcohol for
soldiers. Cu describes not having alcohol as feeling Jealous and depressed without
alcohol. The author gives alcohol this positive connotation in order to emphasize to
the contrast of the sorrow in the soldiers and reality. ... Show more content on

Chinese Foreign Relations During The Imperial Era
Among the plethora of events which have influenced modern China s foreign policy,
the so called century of humiliation holds particular sway. Also known as the
hundred years of national humiliation , it refers to the period of intervention and
imperialism by western powers and Japan in China from 1839 to 1949. It has had a
profound impact on how the decision makers in Chinahave perceived the world order
since then and has heavily influenced China s policies on a strategic, political and
military front. During the imperial period, China s relations with its neighbours and
people of other ethnic groups was heavily clouded by Sino centrism and a concept of
Chinese superiority through the tribute system (John K Fairbank). Although... Show

Defeats in wars led to harsh treaties, territorial loss, repeated episodes of foreign
barbarism, waning of Chinese influence in many areas in Asia and exploitation of
its rights by foreign powers. Starting from the first Opium War, China experienced
military defeats and loss of its territory and influence in Asia. This experience
made the Chinese people aware that China was inferior to the foreign powers (1968
Lucian). China s defeat in the Sino Japanese war sent a great tremor among the
Chinese people. It was perhaps the final nail in the coffin of the century of
humiliation as Japan was always regarded as a tributary or inferior barbarian country
by the Chinese. All this led to a belief in the need of self strengthening and
intensifying its military by enriching the country and importing western technology
to fit itself to the new world order with effective diplomacy in order to maintain its
national security, leverage and status. From 1860 to 1896, the Self Strengtheners tried
to draw western expertise and technology to strengthen China militarily (The legacy
of the past).
This time period also led them to understand the need of allying with other
countries in order to survive. For example, memories of Japanese atrocities led to
the Chinese alliance with the USSR in 1949 and again normalizing relations with
Russia in the 1980 s as Japan re emerged as a

Dress Code And Uniforms Code
Have you ever wondered why we have dress code and not uniform for the schools?
In the current society, all you see in the schools is a dress code. School that I attend
has numerous problems dealing with the dress code for the reason that particular
students decided not to acknowledge it. Couple of teachers has to take some time out
of their teaching time to send the students to the office for dressing inappropriately.
Although they have various problems with the policy, schools remain to enforce the
dress codepolicy. Considering students cannot correctly follow the simple dress code,
schools should require students to wear uniforms. Few public schools in the Tennessee
require students to wear uniforms. In several countries, schools require students to
wear uniforms. For instance, the school that I went to in India required uniforms too.
Public schools requiring students to wear uniformwill give them a sense of identity,
increase their academic performance in the school, and reduce discrimination
between the students.
Frist of all, uniform gives students sense of identity; it creates a feeling of oneness
and belonging to their school. If you gather a group of people and dress them all in
a mutual way, they are likely to develop a group identity and a group ethic that has
nothing to do with their personal identity or their individual perceptions of right and
wrong. All the members of that cluster will put the equal effort in the work. What

However, there are still many schools of thought on the subject and much debate over

modern business environment, and attempts to relay the information in a manner that
a newcomer to the subject will understand the concept as it relates to modern
technology and business practices. The findings of this paper indicate that the topic
of antitrust laws is more complex than many believe and, depending on the position
of the person affected by monopolies, the sentiment ranges widely.
Antitrust Laws The main purpose of antitrust laws is to promote competition in the
markets by preventing monopolies. They also protect consumers and other businesses
from unfair business practices and collusion among companies. The thought behind
this is that consumers are hurt when monopolies exist because they have fewer
choices, the price is likely to be higher, and the services being provided may not be
very good. Turmoil in the national economy during the 1870 s and 1880 s
necessitated the development of trust that would stabilize individual industries. This

Christian Priesthood Research Paper
Virginity is not required by the nature of the priesthood itself. It set forth the motives
of the law for those who know how to appreciate the gifts of God. Celibacy always
inspired specifically Christian considerations where we can get an intuition of the
more fundamental motives underlying them. The Christian priesthood can be
understood only in the light of the newness of Christ. Christ instituted the priesthood.
Jesuswas sent by the Father into the world and became man. He introduced into the
world a new form of life. Matrimony continues the work of the first creation.
Christian couples walk together toward their heavenly mutual love. Christ was made
mediator between heaven and earth. Christ remained throughout his whole life in the
state of celibacy for dedication to the service of Godand men. Jesus wished the first
ministers of salvation to be coworkers with God, and to be friends. He also... Show

By doing this he is able to grow in faith and he is better at listening to the word of
God and praying. God is always present in a priest. Christ s minister receives joy
and encouragement from the Divine Office. The minister dedicates his voice to
the Church and who is his spouse. He continues to grow in faith and to continue
praying which is a priests duty. Although a priest is dedicated to the church and
God he also has another life. The priest brings himself together with the offering,
and places on the altar his entire life. Doing this beared the marks of the holocaust.
The Apostle Paul sacrificed himself for God. He wanted to put his faith in God.
This gives a priest glory. The priest is a symbol of Christ, he expands hope and
faith in christians. With christ you will be able to have a fuller life. The kingdom of
God is present on earth in mystery, it is not perfect alone, but it is with the Lord. The
Church is the beginning of the kingdom. The church is still growing, and wants to

Giotto Vs Entommbment
Art is the cultural element that encompasses the achievements of an era. Giotto di
Bondone s Lamentation, painted in 1305, demonstrates the beginning of naturalism
and the shift away from feudalism during the Early Renaissance period, while
Caravaggio s Entombment, painted in 1603, exhibits the advancement of naturalism
into a more dramatic, emotional form called tenebrism during the Baroque period.
Both of these painting were new for time, and they display certain similarities and
distinct differences. Giotto s Lamentation was painted in 1305 during the
commencement of the Early Renaissance. In the Early Renaissance, we witness a
shift away from medieval times. The Early Renaissance brings about huge economic
prosperity and social shifts... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Caravaggio s, however, was darker and more dramatic. Caravaggio started an
intense style called tenebrism. Tenebrism is a more prominent form of
chiaroscuro, where there are vehement contrasts between light and dark. Fred
Kleiner best describes Caravaggio s style, In his art, Caravaggio injected
naturalism into both religion and the classics, reducing them to human dramas
played out in the harsh and dingy settings of his time and place (Kleiner, 681).
Caravaggio painted during the Italian Baroque in the 1600 s. Italian Baroque
artists like Caravaggio embraced theatricality and extravagant ornamentation,
while Renaissance artists focused more on precise classical models. Now
Caravaggio wasn t exactly an upstanding member of society, most of what the art
world knows about him is through his police reports. Caravaggio s Entombment
was created in 1603 and, like Giotto s Lamentation, depicts the death of Jesus.
While they both depict the same religious scene and use styles that are new for
their time, Caravaggio s painting has some drastic differences from Giotto s.
Caravaggio s painting is oil painted on canvas, which gives Caravaggio the
opportunity to be more detailed in his painting than Giotto can with fresco.
Caravaggio creates these intense dramatic scenes of diagonals and intense
movement. Unlike Giotto, Caravaggio uses linear perspective to direct his viewer s
attention to the body of Jesus. Caravaggio does this by using a diagonal cascade of
mourners descending towards Jesus body. Inclusively, Caravaggio started a darker,
more dramatic movement that gave naturalism a new realistic element. In general,
both Giotto s Lamentation and Caravaggio s Entombment are idealistic paintings for
their times. They both show the artistical achievements for their era by their use of
detail and new techniques that are available for them to use within their perspective
paintings. These

DBQ Barbarian Invasions
Introduction:
Much of the Roman frontier followed the natural boundaries of the Rhine and
Danube rivers across Europe. On the other side of these rivers were territories the
Romans never brought under their control and tribal peoples such as the Goths,
Franks, Vandals, and Huns. By the middle of the fourth century CE, many Roman
governors had allowed these so called barbarians to settle on the Roman side of the
rivers, and Roman generals had even recruited many of the men as soldiers in their
armies. However, the barbarians never assimilated fully into Roman culture. By the
end of the century they started to wage a series of ferocious campaigns ... Show more

come of age, he chose out three hundred whom he knew to be of good birth and
possessed of valor beyond their years, and told them secretly that he was about to
make a present of them to certain of the patricians in Rome, pretending that they were
slaves. And he instructed them that, as soon as they got inside the houses of those
men, they should display much gentleness and moderation and serve them eagerly
in whatever tasks should be laid upon them by their owners; and he further directed
them that not long afterwards, on an appointed day at midday, when all those who
were to be their masters would most likely be already asleep after their meal, they
should all come to the gate called Salarian and with a sudden rush kill the guards,
who would have no previous knowledge of the plot, and open the gates as quickly

ambassadors to the members of the senate, stating that he admired them for their
loyalty toward their emperor, and that he would trouble them no longer, because of
their valor and faithfulness, with which it was plain that they were endowed to a
remarkable degree, and in order that tokens of himself might be preserved among
men both noble and brave, he wished to present each one of them with some
Who Really Discovered America Essay
History Paper
Who discovered America?
By: Deanne Mastrocola
Why is it that American culture today attributes its geographic discovery to a man
named Christopher Columbus? Could it be that he was the first European to claim
this land as part of an Imperialistic expansion or is it merely out of convenience for
the history books? It is known that the American continent was populated by 1000
AD which is long before settlements by Viking fisherman and even longer before
the arrival of Columbus. In spite of this fact every October, we as a culture celebrate
a holiday in honor of the man who is believed to be the discoverer of America. Like

Erickson was born in Iceland in the year 980, after Leif was born he was moved to

around 1000 A.D., about 500 years before Christopher s voyage, Leif set out to
discover new lands. Trying to follow Bjarnes tracks Leif Erickson led his Vikings
over the Atlantic Ocean to the new land. Leif Erickson had drifted by the wind
way out of course and spotted a flat wooded coastline far westward, this was the
new world. When Leif got to this new land he founded a place named Vinland, he
called it that because of all the grape vines the Vikings found there. It was later
named America, after an Italian named Amerigo Vespucci. After a few years the
colony in Vinland was abandoned after hostile attack by the native people along
with the fact that it got too cold. The settlers moved across the land until their
population numbered 3,000. But in the 1400s the climate changed dramatically for
the worse and the settlement had disappeared within a few decades. Leif Erickson
had opened a new land rich with resources for the Vikings to explore, but for some

Identifying and analyzing global integrated marketing campaigns
Abstract
Integrated marketing is a strategy regarding the application of consistent brand
messaging across myriad marketing channels. It came about after businesses realized
that they needed to offer their customers more than the regular method of advertising.
Integrated communication is mainly focused on the consumer rather than the needs of
an organization. It has improved the performance of many businesses in various
markets and their brands. This paper seeks to identify the global integrated marketing
campaigns and analyze them with the use of case studies in the television and print
media.
Introduction
In order for a business to create awareness of its products and convince people to buy
them, it needs to do a promotion of the product. This involves communication. The
goal of promotion is create awareness to consumers of a certain product in the market.
Secondly, to persuade customers to choose their product compared to rival products.
Lastly, promotion aims to remind the customers on the importance of buying the
product. There are five main types of promotions:
Advertising
Personal selling
Sales promotion
Direct marketing
Public relations
The concept of integrated marketing communication (IMC) emerged in the late
twentieth century. This bore out of a realization by marketers that there was a need
for businesses to offer more than advertisements to their
Ethics Reflection Paper
Ethics, a moral principles that govern a person s behavior or the conducting of an
activity. In todays over sensitive society, it is more important than ever for an
individual to pay more attention to their own ethical behavior, and if in the power of
position the behavior of those they oversee.
A few days ago an individual within my group, with my role being a back up lead
not any form of management, sustained a major injury while on the job.
Immediately questions were swirling as to the possible scenarios of how this
injury may have occurred. The injured party himself had already given a statement
to the security team as well as a member of one of the groups that is part of the
investigation process. I had been upstairs on the third floor when the accident
happened and learned about it when I arrived back on the first floor. It was not
long before word of this injury spread, as close to a half dozen individuals
informed me as I was heading back to my work area. When I realized he was
outside with the paramedics, I went to inquire if anything was required on my end.
He mentioned minimal information as I was present, however, I was late to arrive.
My issues are what happened after the fact. Security came back in and needed to
take pictures of the scene where it happened, the head of safety also arrived. While
discussing the situation, I became uncomfortable when the focus turned to how it
might have happened. As we all know, how it might have and how it did happen

Citizen Kane Reflection
What finally breaks down Charles Foster Kane is having Susan leave him. His
need for control, and the inability for Susan or others to continue to comply with
that need, send him into a frenzy in which he destroys the room Susan was staying
in during their huge vacation in the Florida Everglades. From the room he takes a
snow globe, and he is heard saying the words rose bud the first time by someone
else. He walks into a hallway that has many mirrors, and this symbolizes Citizen Kane
as a whole. This scene reflects the fragmented nature of the film. The life of Charles
Foster Kaneis told through the perspectives of several other people, and, due to this,
as no person can be entirely unbiased, truthful, or even knowledgeable of the facts
when recalling interactions with another person, we never get a complete picture of
who Kane really is. Dozens of figures of Kane can be seen through the mirror, and
this relates to how there are many images of Kane that can be derived from listening
to the recollections of those who were close to him.
If we listen to Leland s story, we learn of a controlling and insecure man who wants
love but doesn t know how to love. When he recalls the interaction with Kane in
which he confronted him, he describes Kane (as we can see by how he is
portrayed) as being wholly self interested. This is especially true when we consider
the line You re too valuable here, that Kane told Leland when Leland said he wanted

Liberty Bell Symbols
The United States of America has many different symbols: The Bald Eagle,
Liberty Bell, National Anthem, Uncle Sam, and the Statue of Liberty. The Bald
Eagle has been used as a symbol of governmental power since the Roman Empire. It
is a symbol of authority and statehood. The Liberty Bell represents our freedom as
a nation. When it first rang it was to summon the citizens of the city of Philadelphia
that the Declaration of Independence was to be read by Colonel John Nixon. The
National Anthem is one of the more iconic symbols of our nation, as it is sung at
every major sporting even, and it symbolizes our freedom. It symbolizes us defeating
the British in the War of 1812; it pinpoints a historical moment in our stance of
victory. All of these... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The final fold, when completed, the flag is folded in a way the stars are uppermost
reminding us of our Nation s motto, In God We Trust. After the flag is completely
folded and tucked in, it takes on the appearance of a cocked hat, ever reminding us
of the soldiers who served under General George Washington, and the Sailors and
Marines who served under Captain John Paul Jones, who were followed by their
comrades and shipmates in the Armed Forces of the United States, preserving for us
the rights, privileges, and freedoms we enjoy today. The American flag is the
symbol of our Nation; a symbol of hope and a future. We are gifted with the grace
of Freedom, so that we may strive to continue to breed success and to always
prosper. We have been birthed into the time where we have been given one of the
greatest gifts that we take for granted, our freedom. Our Flag isn t just a piece of
cloth that waves tirelessly in the wind. Our Flag is a great symbol, it is our symbol
of all things good. Without our Flag, we are without the choice of freedom and
without choice of prosperity. Our Flag contains so much more meaning than just 50
stars and 13 stripes. It contains blood sweat and tears, as we have lost so many
citizens to make sure that our Nation is

raising money for Zlata and waiting for her response, Ms. Gruwell was contacted by
Miep Gies, the lady who housed and found Anne Franks diary. Miep was coming to
California for the fiftieth anniversary of Anne Frank s diary. Before meeting Miep,
the students had the opportunity to listen to a holocaust survivor named Gerda

tolerance that Anne died for and Gerda survived for. (Gruwell, p. 85)

Diversity in an organization creates a diverse experience. Fellow employees with
different cultural backgrounds come up with a new set of experiences to share with
other members in their departments. Pooling the diverse knowledge and skills of
culturally distinct workers together can benefit companies by strengthening teams
productivity and responsiveness to changing conditions which benefit the company
(Hndlaechner 2008, p. 152). If these new ideas they bring up with them are used
accordingly, it will have a positive impact on all employees within the organization
and hence bringing the best out of them.

The disadvantages can be worked on by training employees on how to relate to
each other and avoid unnecessary competition which may lead to low quality and
reduction in productivity. Training might be expensive, but it will be a long term
benefit to the company. Diversity in the workforce is growing in all countries
around the world. When an organization adopts diversity policy it can perform
better. It is important for the companies to have knowledge about diversity and
how to handle the negative issues relating to it. Also, the need for the diverse
workforce is getting more not only because there are different people but also
because they can produce better results with having different types of people
working together (Jager, B, and Cleland, A. 2016, 153). It is therefore recommended
that diversity policy is one of the best a company should adopt in order to achieve its
Persuasive Techniques Used In Horror Movies
Horror, one of the most played genre in shows and movies. It can be shown
anytime during the year. It doesn t need a special time to really release unless it
comes with a theme. It can be simply remake from a classic or show another
perspective from a story or person. It gives people the sense of thrill and suspense.
Many people fail to realize it takes a lot of to make a good horror despite its age
range. It does take an understanding of the basics like setting, tone and climax. In my
personal opinion, R.L. Stine is someone who is able to have an understanding of the
basics and create it into something beautiful. Robert Lawrence Stine or better known
as R.L. Stine is mainly known as the writer behind the Goosebumpsseries and The
Haunting Hour series. He was wildly famous in the 90 s going to the 00 s for

The Mystery Of Capital Hernando De Soto
Is land registration sufficient to create wealth in the society?
In this essay, I will try to find out if the registration of land rights is sufficient to
create wealth in the society, by emphasising if land registration is instrumental in
enhancing smallholders access to credit thereby enabling economic growth. The
basis for my essay will be The mystery of capital by Hernando De Soto.
In The mystery of capital Hernando De Soto argues that the underlying reason that
capitalisation fails in many countries is the lack of a formalized property system.
Because of this, property is considered dead capital , and its ability to produce value

Where is the credit?
That formal title enables access to credit and therefor increases economic
productivity is one of De Soto s core arguments for formalization. By contrast,
empirical studies in sub Saharan African have failed to establish the link between
title and access to credit for smallholder s farmers. Thereby determining that poor

only 15 had acquired loans in the previous five years, over 80% of those from

How A Fetus Changes Into A Baby
In this chapter it talks about the development of how a fetus changes into a baby.
The first part of the chapter starts out by talking about how the zygote divides into
the two cells. With another 36 hours the zygote becomes 32 cells. This time period
of conception is call germinal stage. In the first few days in the germinal stage the
cell mass takes the form of a fluid filled ball called a blastocyst. The dividing cells
cell moves through the fallopian tube, then they go throw to the uterus. This chapter
also talks about how although humans are not chickens their babies are formed in
the same way. Like in a chickens egg the yoke develops into a baby chicken, and in a
human the embryobecomes a fetus. Then the chapter starts to talk about the different
things bleeding while being pregnant can mean. Although a majority of people
believe that if a woman bleeds while pregnant mans that she has had a miscarriage,
it can mean many of different things. Miscarriages can be caused by many different
things, and can cause many different types of problems. Such as a high risk of
having anxiety and it also puts relationships at a higher percentage of ending. One
third of percent end in a miscarriage. Miscarriages happed within the first three
months of pregnancy. Woman who are over the age of thirty are more likely to have a
miscarriage. Miscarriages can be cause from many things such as chromosomal
problems, substance use, or hormonal problems. The next thing that this chapter

that Christians do not have a purely historiographical interest in the man known as
Jesus, but a thriving interest in the Christ. He elaborates by saying the reports about
Jesus of Nazareth found in the gospels are the reports of Jesus as the Christ, not just
a man. Tillich finds that mere historical research cannot tear down the foundation of
Christianity because there is immense power in the symbol of Christ (a topic later
discussed in the essay).
Tillich, despite what many assume, consistently presented Jesus as the Christ. It is
true that Tillich wrote articles with titles such as A Reinterpretation of the Doctrine of
the Incarnation (which shocked many Protestant leaders in the late 1940 s). However,
Tillich reinterpreted Doctrine in an attempt to reveal the truths that he believed were at
Gray Wolf Research Papers
While researching the gray wolf, I found out that it is actually a very touchy subject
in Michigan. The hunting of Gray Wolves has been a very controversial topic. Gray
wolves are native to Michigan but were nearly wiped out in the 19th and early 20th
centuries by hunting and state sanctioned bounties. In 1973, when Congress created
the federal endangered specieslist, only six wolves were known to still exist in the
Michigan wild, and gray wolves were considered an endangered species. By 2007,
the wolf population in the Upper Peninsula topped 500 far exceeding the recovery
benchmark of 100 set by the federal government, making the Great Lakes gray wolf
one of the most successful recovery stories in the history of the endangered species
list. The gray wolf actually came off the endangered species list in 2012, but as of
December 2014, has been relisted. At... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The measure was designed to suspend implementation of the wolf hunting law.
A month later, State Sen. Tom Casperson, introduced a bill to grant the Natural
Resources Commission the authority to designate animals as game species without
legislative approval. That bill cleared the Legislature and was signed into law in
May 2013 as Public Act 21. It basically circumvented the wolf hunt opposition s
initiative by putting in place a law that that could pave the way for another wolf hunt
even if voters overturned Public Act 520. As a result, hunts were held in November
and December in three areas of the Upper Peninsula. Twenty two wolves were killed.
The conflict arising on whether to allow hunting of wolves by sports men or
conservation of the wolves as a source for tourism attraction.

Investigation of the Types of Business Ownership Essay
Investigation of the Types of Business Ownership
JCC Limited is a private limited company. Other forms of business ownership include:
The sole trader. This is the most common form of private sector business. This type
of business has one owner who runs the business and may employ any number of
people to help. Advantages of being a sole trader include the lack of legal
restrictions, the sole trader is able to set up their business relatively quickly. Also all
profits after tax are kept by the owner. There are a number of disadvantages to being a
sole trader though, the main one being that sole traders have unlimited liability. This

Becoming a PLC tends to be very expensive. This is because, the company may use a
financial institutions to process share applications. A PLC must have a ВЈ50,000
share capital and the company will have administrative and advertising expenses.
There are several advantages to being a PLC as large amounts of money can be
made from the sale of shares to the public and because of their large size PLC s can
often dominate the market. However due to the large size of most PLC s the setting
up costs can run into millions of pounds in some instances. Also as the shares are on
sale to the general public it is possible that someone outside the company could take
control of it.
Private Limited Companies, JCC Limited is a private limited company. These types
of business tend to be smaller than PLC s. Like PLC s private limited companies
have limited liability. This means that the owner, Mark Du Jardin in the case of
JCC Ltd. can only lose what he has originally put into the business. The shares
within a private limited company can only be brought and sold privately and
cannot be advertised for general sale on the stock market. As the only shareholder
Mark Du Jardin must agree on the transfer of shares. Private limited companies are
often family run businesses, such as JCC Ltd. As Mark Du Jardin is the sole

Stephen Curry Accomplishments
B orn in 1988, Stephen curry is the son of Dell Curry, who was also a professional
basketball player. Since 2009 when the Golden State Warriors first drafted Curry,
he has been a huge part in their success. He won the NBA s MVP (Most Valuable
Player) award. He then helped the Warriors win the national championship in 2015,
and also helped the team achieve a league record with 73 wins in one season. Born
in Ohio, Steph is now one of the top NBA players today. He can hang with Michal
Jordan and beat Kobe Bryant, this splash brother is definitely earning the attention he
is receiving.
Stephen curry s biggest achievement is probably winning the MVP award in 2015.
He also won the National Championship which is also big deal, however, it takes
an especially skilled person to win the MVP award. He tops the NBA in scoring.
He led the defending champions the golden state warriors to a 24 0 start, the best
in NBA history. Curry s team could break the record for most regular season wins.
All of these achievements show why Stephen curry is the MVP of the NBA. Not
too many people can say these things and to be able to is something more special
than an award. For these reasons I believe that Stephen curry s biggest achievement is
getting awarded the MVP.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
His dream was to attend college at Virginia Tech, but settled for Davidson when
Virginia showed no interest. I feel that this is the most surprising fact about
Stephen curry, besides that his real name is Wardell, because of how great he is
today. Stephen also surprised me because he likes to watch chic flicks. I m sure that
this would surprise a lot of people. Everyone knows professional basketball players to
be huge guys with nerves of steel. This, however; is not the case with Wardell
Stephen Curry. He is a six foot three point guard in the NBA with a soft heart. He
loves God and his family, which includes his wife Ayesha and his daughters Riley and
What Is Machiavelli s View On Government
Unlike many others of his time, Machiavelli based his political views on the
practical world instead of the ideal world. He recognized that he did not live in an
ideal world and that world would never and could never exist. In an ideal world
there would be no power, it would be unnecessary. However, he was pessimistic
about men and their intentions. He believed that anyone would behave immorally
when the time occurred where it would benefit him or herself. He used this
judgement to write his book, The Prince. He wrote is as a guideline for leaders and
future leaders to do good and be successful. He gives an example in his book relating
these two separate views of leadershipin an ideal society and a practical society. He

He believed that with discipline comes a more merciful environment. He wrote
that men are fickle, false, cowardly, and covetous. They will love you but when the
time comes they will turn against you so one should not be concerned with their
loyalty. Instead, a ruler should concern himself with what he or she can control. A
ruler cannot force love but can force fear. When he is asked whether it is better to
be loved or feared he said it is best to be both but it is safer to be feared than loved.
...the prince who, relying entirely on their promises, has neglected other
precaution, is ruined (409). A ruler can endure very well by being feared as long as
he or she keeps from being hated. Machiavelli uses these premises given in his
book to voice his political views of the world. He believed that the world is not an
ideal place and a successful leader will see that and act accordingly. Instead of
being concerned with problems that might arise in an ideal world, the leader should
be concerned with the problems that are given at that moment. A good leader will
have good morals but be able to stray away from what is the most morally correct

Arguments Against Victimization
There were examinations made by theorists that suggest some people are, in fact,
victim prone and argue that, similar to the concept of born criminals , there are born
victims (Moriarty, 2003). Born victims are individuals who seem to be self
destructive and studies have proclaimed that they are responsible, to some degree, for
their own victimization. There is a continuous reciprocal action between predators
and victims (Moriarty, 2003). There are two main ways precipitative behavior can
come about, this being both actively and passively. In active precipitation, explained
by Wolfgang, it states that the victimis behaving in a threatening, violent, almost
intolerable, manner with the offender, which can have the victim involve themselves

In order for an individual to fully protect themselves against victimization, they
would need to seriously alter their whole life. To some degree, everyone in society
has no choice but to involve themselves in risky behavior (Moriarty, 2003). There
are situations that are completely out of one s control, and circumstances that can
not be changed. For instance, some people could live in a higher crime rate
neighborhood, so no matter what, stepping outside of the confines of their home
is a risk. But it is a risk worth taking because people need to run errands, go out to
eat, go to work, etc. They can not be responsible if they are a victim of crime by
choosing to not live in fear. Blaming the victim, even slightly, then diminishes full
responsibility for the offender. The concept of victim precipitation provides a
cultural framework which offenders can use to rationalize their behavior (Moriarty,
2003, p. 32). To better put this into perspective, in 2016, the Stanford University
swimmer, Brock Turner, was charged with sexual assault. After serving only three
months, he was given an earlier release date. Arguments, in this case, stated that the
woman should have never been as intoxicated as she was. The real argument here
should have been, Mr. Turner never laying a hand on her in any way (Shariff
Wiseman, 2016). Offenders should almost always take full responsibility for
immersion in crime, because when victim blaming occurs, it impacts the victim
emotionally, mentally, and psychologically. It even has the possibility of the
punishment for the offender become less severe. To add on, the creation of victim
blaming creates culturally legitimate victims , which is incredibly harmful to those
Agamemnon By Euripides Essay
Euripides was classic Athens. He is one of whose plays have long survived.
Importantly, he was well identified with theatrical innovation, which has profoundly
influenced drama up to the modern times, most especially in the representation of
traditional, mythical heroes as the ordinary people in an extraordinary circumstance.
Apparently, was so unique among many writers of ancient Athens because of his
abundant sympathy that he demonstrated towards the victims of society, most
especially being women. Agamemnon, Orestes and Electra were the main characters
in the plays. The play revolves around the leader of Greek forces, Agamemnon, and
his deadly decision to sacrifice his first daughter Iphigenia, to preserve his honor by

Later, Orestes killed two sons of Thestes and cut them into pieces, then served
them at a banquet to their father during an honor of his return (277). It was a
horrible experience for Thyestes after discovering what was prepared for his meal.
He then went away from Argos with only his infant child called Aegisthus after
cursing both Orestes and his descendants. After the death of Orestes, the throne
was left under Agamemnon his son, who later married a daughter of Sparta s king.
They bore three children, of which one inherited his father s throne upon death.
The remaining son of Orestes married Helen, who became king of Sparta upon her
father s death. Another seduction in the descendants of Orestes occurs. Later after
the wedding, Paris who was the son of Troy s king, seduced Helen then took her
away. A great force was organized to restore Helen to her husband. However, due
to adverse winds, they were unable to sail towards Troy. They appeased goddess
Artemis to calm the winds by sacrificing a young girl who arrived at the camp. They
sailed to Troas but there was a lot of justification of the murder of their mother by
Orestes who was later afflicted with madness then goes to become a spirit to hunt and
punish murderers
Hume Personal Identity Essay
With all of the influences within the world, it can often be difficult to determine who
we are and how we became the person that we are today. Although many people
believe that from the time we are born, we begin to develop our own personal
identities that will differentiate us from everyone else within the world, others
believe that our identities are a consequent of the influences that we encounter
throughout our lives.
Personal identity is the concept that you develop about yourself that evolves over
the course of your life. This also includes aspects in your life that you do not have
control over, such as where you grew up, the color of your skin, and your religious
beliefs. According to David Hume, these influences throughout our ... Show more

Some of these influences include personal struggles, race, living environment, parents
and religion. As Anna Deavere Smith once stated Identity is an assemblage of
constellations ( Anna Deavere Smith. BrainyQuote.com. Xplore Inc, 2017. 1 August
2017 ). Neil Gaiman s American God s, is a good representation of personal identity
because it demonstrates how a person s beliefs can relate to their personal identity
as well. American Gods is a fantasy narrative about a man named Shadow; as the
story begins Shadow is serving a six year sentence in a county prison. Due to the
death of his wife Shadow is granted early release to attend the memorial service.
Once Shadow is released from prison he takes a plane to Eagle Point, Indiana and
meets a man named Wednesday. After encountering with Wednesday a series of
strange events occur. Later on readers find out that Wednesday is a old god who
wants Shadow to help him and the other old gods assert the newer gods. One of the
central themes of this novel is faith. Gaiman demonstrated how the early immigrants
arrived to the United States with their faith. It was their beliefs that influenced the
United States and made it the country that it is today. Within his novel, Gaiman used
the older and newer gods as a comparison to the older and newer generation. Gaiman
used actual mythological gods as character roles for
Autonomy, Social Class In Charlotte Bronte s Jane Eyre
I from that hour set to work a fresh, resolved to pioneer my way through every
difficulty. I toiled hard, and my success was proportionate to my efforts.
(Bronte,81) demonstrates the strict resolution Jane Eyre lives her life by. In Jane
Eyre by Charlotte Bronte Jane becomes an orphan at a very young age and passes
from place to place until she arrives at Thornfield and meets Mr. Rochester. She can
not love him because of his social standing but comes back to him after hearing of
his injuries and death of his wife Bertha. In this literary work Bronte uses themes
such as religion, love versus autonomy, social class in Jane Eyre.
Charlotte Bronte was born April 21, 1816. Her mom Maria died in 1821 leaving
her to mother her remaining siblings after the death of her two eldest sisters
Elizabeth and Anne as well. Her father Patrick was left to deal with the aftermath
and decided it was best to send his daughters to Daughters of Poor Clergymen
School at Cowan Bridge in 1824. With Bronte being left as the eldest and a mother

After the deaths Bronte s father made her come back home in hope of saving her
from the devastating disease. (Charlotte Bronte: 1816 1855) Bronte uses this
experience to write about in Jane Eyre when there was a typhus outbreak in Lowood
...into the Orphan Asylum, breathed typhus through its crowded school room and
dormitory, and ere seminary into a hospital... (Bronte, 82) which simulates the death
of her sisters. In the novel Jane is not sent home but instead is forced to endure the
heartbreak of losing her closest friend Helen which can be seen as a sister.
Birth Order Affecting Relationships
Every angle of life is affected by birth order, and birth order affects people. If life is a
play, then birth order holds the leading role. From the first to last breath taken, birth
order is playing a huge part in one s life. People would not be themselves if
personalities were not unique to every individual. Birth orderaffects relationships
among other things such as: career, personality, strengths, weaknesses, and almost
every aspect of one s life.
Birth order is defined as being the chronological order of sibling births in a family.
There is five ways to classify birth order: first, second, middle, last, and only
children. Treatment plays a large role into how strong the birth order effect is. If
out of four sons, a daughter is born, even if she is a middle child she will be treated
at a first born, because she is the only girl. Age gap is also a major factor affecting
birth order. Large age gaps result in birth order starting over (Birth Order, pg. 1 3).
Referring to birth order, Dr. Hartstein, a psychologist says, It s been researched
since the 1920s, and they really have found that over time the things that they have
found stay the same and are proven to be honest and true representations of people
(1). A child s growth and personality are greatly affected by birth order and the
effects will be carried into adulthood (Birth Order, pg.1).
Anticipation is the best way to describe how parents feel when their firstborn is on
the way. Firstborns expect perfection from

The lifeguard was a hero and saved him. Otherwise, the boy would have died. It is

Language Teaching. Time has gone by and the teaching of foreign languages has
developed, specially in English Language Teaching. Among the most significant
advances one may find: the determination of the professors of trusting on their own

and to look for pedagogical solutions to the problems. One issue that is still subject of
discussion is that of motivation. English has become an indispensable instrument of

educational software as a motivational tool as well as discuss its advantages and
disadvantages in the teaching of English. DISCUSSION It could be argued that with
the use of technology the role of the teacher is reduced to the elaboration of the
program while the student acquires a predominant role, since he self instructs, self
programs and receives an individualized learning in agreement with his/her rhythm of
assimilation (Vygotsky, 1987), (Wood, 1996). Although this non collaborative, in
some cases, character may look not beneficial, this teaching type has its advantages
and, consequently, its disadvantages. Regarding the advantages of the use of
technology, it could be said that provides a constant activation and motivation to the
students (Davis, 1992), provides a safe ground for individual work as well as a
collaborative environment, instant feedback, depending on the tool, about the results

Example Of An Outline For An Essay.pdf

  • 1. Example Of An Outline For An Essay Crafting an essay on the topic of "Example of an Outline for an Essay" may seem deceptively simple at first glance, but delving into the intricacies of constructing an effective outline can prove to be quite challenging. The difficulty lies in striking the right balance between providing a clear framework for the essay and ensuring flexibility for the development of ideas. One challenge is determining the appropriate level of detail for each section of the outline. Too much detail may result in a rigid structure that stifles creativity, while too little detail can lead to a lack of guidance for the essay's content. Achieving the right equilibrium requires a nuanced understanding of the subject matter and a keen awareness of how the essay's argument will unfold. Another complexity arises in choosing the most suitable organizational pattern for the outline. Different topics and purposes may demand various structures, such as chronological, spatial, or cause-and-effect. Deciding on the right approach involves considering the nature of the subject, the target audience, and the overarching goal of the essay. Furthermore, one must navigate the challenge of ensuring coherence and logical progression within the outline. Transitioning seamlessly from one point to the next is crucial for maintaining the reader's engagement and comprehension. This demands a meticulous examination of the relationships between ideas and a strategic placement of supporting evidence. In addition, the writer must be conscious of the potential for bias in the outline. Personal perspectives and assumptions can inadvertently shape the structure, potentially leading to a one- sided presentation of the topic. Striving for objectivity and inclusivity while still maintaining a compelling argument requires a delicate balance. In conclusion, writing an essay on the topic of creating an outline presents its own set of challenges. It necessitates a careful consideration of detail, organizational patterns, coherence, and objectivity. Aspiring essayists must navigate these complexities to produce an outline that serves as a strong foundation for a well-crafted and persuasive essay. • 2. Football Narrative On a sunny summer morning at my house the annoying birds woke me up as always, but this was not an ordinary day. I was going to my friend Bruno s house. His house was just on the other side of Lake Tranquility. There was two weeks of summer left before we had to go back to jail which is also known as school. I was going to go to his house at 11:50 in the morning. I had pancakes with syrup for breakfast, then I got my clothes on and packed a bathing suit in a bag for Bruno s house, because he has a pool. I watched Netflix and played on my kindle for a while. Evan we got to go now, my mom yelled. Coming! I yelled back. We got into the car drove over a couple hills, took a couple turns, went up a big hill, and took a left , then we were there. Hi Bruno, I yelled. Hi, He yelled back. Let s go inside, Bruno said. We walked inside his house and looked at all of his Legos. He has like a million of them. That s something we both have in common. We both love LEGOS! After looking and playing with his legos for like fifteen minutes we went outside and played tackle football. Our favorite part about playing tackle football with each other is the tackle part. We both love to tackle each other. Hike! , I yelled as I dodged a tackle from Bruno. Running and tackling forever, always getting a chance to score a touchdown. After playing football we went inside and got a cold glass of water with Goldfish. While we were sitting at the table I said ,Hey Bruno

  • 4. Network Flows Case Study Essays Network Flows Case Study s Anthony Ryan Saxon February 2, 2015 MTH/221 JEFF BABBITT I decided to write about the Network Flow Case Study. In this paper I will provide examples from the text and provide the theories that fall behind the problems. After explaining the examples I will provide some real world application and some references on them. Example 1: You are needing a new A/C in your home and you are looking to save money on the work and on your bill/bills. The A/C technician explains he can save you some money by using some material that was left over from other jobs. As seen in the picture below: Would this work for this application? This would work. Each new employee would work in areas 1, 2, and 3. The area assigned to the employee would be determined by the employer him/herself. The table above givens an example of how it will go. Then the overall question would be how the assigned areas would be split up. When it comes to converting the table above into a graph to the answer, I am at a little bit of a loss. The employee numbers 1, 2, and 3 would then be converted into vertices D1, D2, and D3 and the different areas into A1, A2, and A3 which is shown in the diagram below: In the diagram you have to replace the S s with D s and the C s with the A s. I believe the assigned areas would be given to the employees by the employer. An employer would be assign to an employee by random. The employee would follow the employer s number through the graph. This would start in area 1 and continue on through 3. If you have 100 employers and 30 employees they would be assigned in areas as 34, 33, and 33 this would allow all areas to be covered and the jobs completed in

Mccandless Vs Transcendentalism Alaska or Bust: The Two Men That Believed Alaska Had All the Answers As Christopher Johnson McCandless once said: The core of mans spirit comes from new experiences (Krakauer, 57). Society has given the majority of the human population a predetermined cookie cutter lifestyle for which they must follow in order to be accepted. This includes which virtues to follow, how to interact with others, and what is and what is it not acceptable. For many people, fitting into this mold is the only way they know how to live, but for a select few, it is quite the opposite. Timothy Treadwell, made famous after the biographical documentary Grizzly Man was released, spent thirteen summers in Katmai National Park in Homer, Alaska living amongst the region s wild brown bears before he was ultimately killed and consumed by them. No one quite understood why he decided to spend so much time with the dangerous carnivores, but onecan only speculate on the decisions that led to his tragic end. He was believed to have suffered from alcoholism and drug addiction. The self proclaimed bear whisperer not only yearned not only for a connection with the bears, but many believed also for their acceptance. He devoted his life trying to convince society that the bears needed his help, but there is controversy as to if he did more bad than good in his so called efforts to aid in their protection. Formally known as Timothy Dexter, the young Timothy Treadwell from a middle class family in Long Island, New York, was known to many as a struggling aspiring actor who struggled with drug abuse and alcoholism. In his youth, Treadwell was a gifted diver for his high school. His pure talent brought him a scholarship to Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, as well as the ability to set many records for his school that would remain to be untouched to this day. Right before his junior year, he sustained a back injury that ultimately made him lose his scholarship and ended his diving career. Unable to face the tragedy, he

(Freud, The Psychopathology of Everyday Life (p. 69)) It is somehow true and almost every one of us could experience the feeling of self betrayal . Have you ever experience a moment when you thought Oh no! Why did I say that word? or I couldn t control myself, the word just blurted out of my mouth! ? These are normal, according to Freud, and they reflect the unconscious thoughts in our mind which we try to suppress it. Not just normal people like us make slips of the tongue but also politicians, teachers and even professional linguists. One of the famous examples of slips of the tongue is from Reverend William A. Initially, all parties, including the Left, supported Germany going to war. As the war prolonged however and Germany was running short of essential supplies such as food as a result of the blockade by the allies. More Germans started questioning the rational of continuing with the war. The Parliament also changed its attitude. Still, those in power did not think the government was under any threat. The country was not ready for a revolution even though the morale was low as a result of the defeat in the First World War and there was shortage of essential supplies including food and medicine as a result of the blockade by the allies. The nation was generally in a state of turmoil. There was a general feeling especially within the left wing that time was ripe for a break from the capitalist government. The monarchy was overthrown and a provisional government set up. A network of soldiers and workers councils was established nationwide. However, the SDP being the government of the day controlled the councils. In the councils there were more delegates who were SDP than workers delegates.[1] This meant that the SDP controlled both the government ant the councils. They also had the support of the masses. The councils were also weakly coordinated. The main factors that contributed to this failure were the following: Г Unlike Russia, Germany was an advanced industrial nation with a solid and powerful capitalist class. The middle class was strong and influential. Г Unlike their counterparts in Russia and France, the German working class had benefited from several welfare measures since the 1800s. The army had had glorious

The development started with the colonial experience led by the Spanish. In the 1500s word had spread that there were pearls and rare precious metals to be found in Venezuela. With the newly found pearls, the Spanish colonizers started developing extractive policies to harvest these pearls and metals to the point where new ways and resources had to be found. In the 1520 s, instead of extracting resources and treasures from Venezuela, the Spanish began extracting their native people, taking the people for slavery. African American Civil War And The Period Of Reconstruction After the Civil War and the period of Reconstruction there were many political, social and economic changes which continued to affect the society. The role of African Americans in society changed after the abolishment of slavery. This new freedom and opportunities were not much greater than before when slavery existed. Despite reconstruction efforts, African Americans faced discrimination. Society as a whole was altered extensively at this time. After the civil war, political changes affected African Americanlives significantly. African Americans were freed of slavery by the 13th amendment and the 14th amendment guaranteed their citizenship, Everyone born or naturalized in the US were granted citizenship and were equal under the law (Doc 1). After about 250 years of slavery, African Americans were finally free of slavery (Johnson, 2000). Though they were free, they had nowhere to go and no money to spend, They were sent away empty handed, without money, without friends, and without a foot of land to stand upon (Doc 2). Former owners used their power to place limitations on emancipation. The former slaves had to end up working for their former masters and borrowing land/money from them. The Symbolism In Sorrow Of War Throughout the novel Sorrow of War , The author Bao Ninh uses the symbolism of alcohol to serve as hope to further demonstrate the sorrow in vietnamese soldiers, and the loss of identity in soldiers. In the novel alcohol is used as a symbol to further emphasize the sorrow of post war soldiers. In the text Cu states I ve tried to discipline myself, to fulfill my duties, no disobedience, no gambling, no alcohol, no dope, no women, no swearing. And for what? All for nothing! I m not jealous, just depressed (20). It s clear that the alcohol serves as a way to think positive in the harsh war an escape route for the mind of the soldiers per say. Cu describes himself as depressed so essentially alcohol serves as a symbol of hope for the soldiers a way out, hope that they will make it through war and back home. Also known as the hundred years of national humiliation , it refers to the period of intervention and imperialism by western powers and Japan in China from 1839 to 1949. It has had a profound impact on how the decision makers in Chinahave perceived the world order since then and has heavily influenced China s policies on a strategic, political and military front. During the imperial period, China s relations with its neighbours and people of other ethnic groups was heavily clouded by Sino centrism and a concept of Chinese superiority through the tribute system (John K Fairbank). Defeats in wars led to harsh treaties, territorial loss, repeated episodes of foreign barbarism, waning of Chinese influence in many areas in Asia and exploitation of its rights by foreign powers. Starting from the first Opium War, China experienced military defeats and loss of its territory and influence in Asia. This experience made the Chinese people aware that China was inferior to the foreign powers (1968 Lucian). China s defeat in the Sino Japanese war sent a great tremor among the Chinese people. It was perhaps the final nail in the coffin of the century of humiliation as Japan was always regarded as a tributary or inferior barbarian country by the Chinese. All this led to a belief in the need of self strengthening and intensifying its military by enriching the country and importing western technology to fit itself to the new world order with effective diplomacy in order to maintain its national security, leverage and status. From 1860 to 1896, the Self Strengtheners tried to draw western expertise and technology to strengthen China militarily (The legacy of the past). This time period also led them to understand the need of allying with other countries in order to survive. For example, memories of Japanese atrocities led to the Chinese alliance with the USSR in 1949 and again normalizing relations with Russia in the 1980 s as Japan re emerged as a

School that I attend has numerous problems dealing with the dress code for the reason that particular students decided not to acknowledge it. Couple of teachers has to take some time out of their teaching time to send the students to the office for dressing inappropriately. Although they have various problems with the policy, schools remain to enforce the dress codepolicy. Considering students cannot correctly follow the simple dress code, schools should require students to wear uniforms. Few public schools in the Tennessee require students to wear uniforms. In several countries, schools require students to wear uniforms. For instance, the school that I went to in India required uniforms too. Public schools requiring students to wear uniformwill give them a sense of identity, increase their academic performance in the school, and reduce discrimination between the students. Frist of all, uniform gives students sense of identity; it creates a feeling of oneness and belonging to their school. If you gather a group of people and dress them all in a mutual way, they are likely to develop a group identity and a group ethic that has nothing to do with their personal identity or their individual perceptions of right and wrong. • 21. Antitrust Laws And The Federal Branch Of The United States... The role of antitrust laws has been the subject of numerous publications that have attempted to provide a precise set of reasons and inspirations for their creation. However, there are still many schools of thought on the subject and much debate over the effectiveness and legitimate implementation of these laws. This paper analyzes the three main antitrust laws that the federal branch of the United States government uses to try to restrict monopolies. This paper also looks at antitrust laws in the modern business environment, and attempts to relay the information in a manner that a newcomer to the subject will understand the concept as it relates to modern technology and business practices. The findings of this paper indicate that the topic of antitrust laws is more complex than many believe and, depending on the position of the person affected by monopolies, the sentiment ranges widely. Antitrust Laws The main purpose of antitrust laws is to promote competition in the markets by preventing monopolies. They also protect consumers and other businesses from unfair business practices and collusion among companies. The thought behind this is that consumers are hurt when monopolies exist because they have fewer choices, the price is likely to be higher, and the services being provided may not be very good. Turmoil in the national economy during the 1870 s and 1880 s necessitated the development of trust that would stabilize individual industries. This would later

Giotto di Bondone s Lamentation, painted in 1305, demonstrates the beginning of naturalism and the shift away from feudalism during the Early Renaissance period, while Caravaggio s Entombment, painted in 1603, exhibits the advancement of naturalism into a more dramatic, emotional form called tenebrism during the Baroque period. Both of these painting were new for time, and they display certain similarities and distinct differences. Giotto s Lamentation was painted in 1305 during the commencement of the Early Renaissance. In the Early Renaissance, we witness a shift away from medieval times. The Early Renaissance brings about huge economic prosperity and social shifts... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Caravaggio s, however, was darker and more dramatic. Caravaggio started an intense style called tenebrism. Tenebrism is a more prominent form of chiaroscuro, where there are vehement contrasts between light and dark. Fred Kleiner best describes Caravaggio s style, In his art, Caravaggio injected naturalism into both religion and the classics, reducing them to human dramas played out in the harsh and dingy settings of his time and place (Kleiner, 681). Caravaggio painted during the Italian Baroque in the 1600 s. Italian Baroque artists like Caravaggio embraced theatricality and extravagant ornamentation, while Renaissance artists focused more on precise classical models. Now Caravaggio wasn t exactly an upstanding member of society, most of what the art world knows about him is through his police reports. Caravaggio s Entombment was created in 1603 and, like Giotto s Lamentation, depicts the death of Jesus. While they both depict the same religious scene and use styles that are new for their time, Caravaggio s painting has some drastic differences from Giotto s. Caravaggio s painting is oil painted on canvas, which gives Caravaggio the opportunity to be more detailed in his painting than Giotto can with fresco. Caravaggio creates these intense dramatic scenes of diagonals and intense movement. Unlike Giotto, Caravaggio uses linear perspective to direct his viewer s attention to the body of Jesus. Caravaggio does this by using a diagonal cascade of mourners descending towards Jesus body. Inclusively, Caravaggio started a darker, more dramatic movement that gave naturalism a new realistic element. In general, both Giotto s Lamentation and Caravaggio s Entombment are idealistic paintings for their times. They both show the artistical achievements for their era by their use of detail and new techniques that are available for them to use within their perspective paintings. These

In this essay, I will try to find out if the registration of land rights is sufficient to create wealth in the society, by emphasising if land registration is instrumental in enhancing smallholders access to credit thereby enabling economic growth. The basis for my essay will be The mystery of capital by Hernando De Soto. In The mystery of capital Hernando De Soto argues that the underlying reason that capitalisation fails in many countries is the lack of a formalized property system. Because of this, property is considered dead capital , and its ability to produce value beyond its natural state is inaccessible Soto (2000 p. 6). The solution for activating the otherwise ... That formal title enables access to credit and therefor increases economic productivity is one of De Soto s core arguments for formalization. By contrast, empirical studies in sub Saharan African have failed to establish the link between title and access to credit for smallholder s farmers. Thereby determining that poor people with title are no more likely to obtain loans from commercial banks than those without Musembi (2009 p. 1466). • 39. How A Fetus Changes Into A Baby In this chapter it talks about the development of how a fetus changes into a baby. The first part of the chapter starts out by talking about how the zygote divides into the two cells. With another 36 hours the zygote becomes 32 cells. This time period of conception is call germinal stage. In the first few days in the germinal stage the cell mass takes the form of a fluid filled ball called a blastocyst. The dividing cells cell moves through the fallopian tube, then they go throw to the uterus. This chapter also talks about how although humans are not chickens their babies are formed in the same way. Like in a chickens egg the yoke develops into a baby chicken, and in a human the embryobecomes a fetus. Then the chapter starts to talk about the different things bleeding while being pregnant can mean. Although a majority of people believe that if a woman bleeds while pregnant mans that she has had a miscarriage, it can mean many of different things. Miscarriages can be caused by many different things, and can cause many different types of problems. Paul Tillich, a Guide for Christianity within a Pluralistic Society Introduction In this paper I will discuss the significance of Paul Tillich s theology within our current pluralistic society. I hope to accomplish this by specifically addressing how certain concepts within his Theology, when embraced or applied, can begin to relieve western Christianity s concern for remaining relevant . I will also present some of Tillich s theological ideas concerning his Christology, characteristics of a symbol, and concept of God as a symbol. I. The Christology of Tillich: Jesus as the Christ Tillich suggests in the article A Reinterpretation of the Doctrine of the Incarnation that Christians do not have a purely historiographical interest in the man known as Jesus, but a thriving interest in the Christ. He elaborates by saying the reports about Jesus of Nazareth found in the gospels are the reports of Jesus as the Christ, not just a man. Tillich finds that mere historical research cannot tear down the foundation of Christianity because there is immense power in the symbol of Christ (a topic later discussed in the essay). Tillich, despite what many assume, consistently presented Jesus as the Christ. It is true that Tillich wrote articles with titles such as A Reinterpretation of the Doctrine of the Incarnation (which shocked many Protestant leaders in the late 1940 s). However, Tillich reinterpreted Doctrine in an attempt to reveal the truths that he believed were at

Gray wolves are native to Michigan but were nearly wiped out in the 19th and early 20th centuries by hunting and state sanctioned bounties. In 1973, when Congress created the federal endangered specieslist, only six wolves were known to still exist in the Michigan wild, and gray wolves were considered an endangered species. By 2007, the wolf population in the Upper Peninsula topped 500 far exceeding the recovery benchmark of 100 set by the federal government, making the Great Lakes gray wolf one of the most successful recovery stories in the history of the endangered species list. • 46. Arguments Against Victimization There were examinations made by theorists that suggest some people are, in fact, victim prone and argue that, similar to the concept of born criminals , there are born victims (Moriarty, 2003). Born victims are individuals who seem to be self destructive and studies have proclaimed that they are responsible, to some degree, for their own victimization. There is a continuous reciprocal action between predators and victims (Moriarty, 2003). There are two main ways precipitative behavior can come about, this being both actively and passively. In active precipitation, explained by Wolfgang, it states that the victimis behaving in a threatening, violent, almost intolerable, manner with the offender, which can have the victim involve themselves ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In order for an individual to fully protect themselves against victimization, they would need to seriously alter their whole life. To some degree, everyone in society has no choice but to involve themselves in risky behavior (Moriarty, 2003). There are situations that are completely out of one s control, and circumstances that can not be changed. For instance, some people could live in a higher crime rate neighborhood, so no matter what, stepping outside of the confines of their home is a risk. But it is a risk worth taking because people need to run errands, go out to eat, go to work, etc. They can not be responsible if they are a victim of crime by choosing to not live in fear. Blaming the victim, even slightly, then diminishes full responsibility for the offender. The concept of victim precipitation provides a cultural framework which offenders can use to rationalize their behavior (Moriarty, 2003, p. 32). To better put this into perspective, in 2016, the Stanford University swimmer, Brock Turner, was charged with sexual assault. After serving only three months, he was given an earlier release date. Arguments, in this case, stated that the woman should have never been as intoxicated as she was. The real argument here should have been, Mr. Turner never laying a hand on her in any way (Shariff Wiseman, 2016). Offenders should almost always take full responsibility for immersion in crime, because when victim blaming occurs, it impacts the victim emotionally, mentally, and psychologically. It even has the possibility of the punishment for the offender become less severe. To add on, the creation of victim blaming creates culturally legitimate victims , which is incredibly harmful to those

DISCUSSION It could be argued that with the use of technology the role of the teacher is reduced to the elaboration of the program while the student acquires a predominant role, since he self instructs, self programs and receives an individualized learning in agreement with his/her rhythm of assimilation (Vygotsky, 1987), (Wood, 1996).
