How we educate our students is a contentious topic. Many stakeholders have different ideas about
what will make our schools more successful. Without going into great detail about the past, it is safe
to say the current paradigm is one of standards and assessment. Schools have gone back to basics

schools have resorted to teaching to the standardized tests. Effective school advocates believe that
the country should pay less attention to racial issues and student racial composition of schools and

school success is an all or nothing venture where we have to decide between concentrating only on

My reasoning is that many forms social deviance are acts which ultimately are extremely
subjective or relative in terms of their nature. For example, saying things that are perceived as
racist in nature is widely viewed as being deviant of the social norms since they are incredibly
offensive in nature. Thus many areas even have created laws to combat such racist speech since
it defies the social order and also is said to incite people. However such deviance of social norms

Cancer, a failing gallbladder, crohns disease, I stare at the wall rummaging through all the
problems I could be facing in this moment. The surge of pain in the upper right quadrant of my
abdomen strikes me unexpectedly, throwing me into a spiraling episode of assumption and google
searches. The only results yielded by these searches were virtually every terminal disease that had
this symptom. It was now that I realized this could be a potentially life altering circumstance.

I lay on the stretcher in tears being rolled away from my family, silently screaming, and bursting
with a terrible anxiety like never before. We are going to place this mask over your nose and

On Friday, April 25, 2014, I attend the event Global Climate Change Symposium organized by the
West Valley College Global Citizen and Suitability Committees from 1:00 to 2:30 PM. In this
event the speaker was Dr. Daphane Miller, MD., family physician, writer and Associate Professor in
the department of FamilyMedicine at the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Daphane
Miller is also a family physician. One thing that I believe that is sticking to know first and
foremost is that she is a doctor. She sits at her office three days a week and she sees patients all
day long and she takes care of them, one of her many prescriptions to her patients are good
eating, among other things. The mayor focus on Dr. Daphane speech was Farmacology since she

Due to the significant negative impact of the industrial activities on the habitat, many species have
become endangered. To conserve the species, a thorough investigation is needed. In this case, the
research is based on the study the interdependencies between the genotype and spatial dispersal of
populations.
Despite being endangered, turtles comprise rather specific object for such investigations, as well as
any other long lived organisms, because their reproduction cycles complicate the genetic
investigations using conventional methods. That is why the novel DNA markers, microsatellites,
were chosen for this research.
Although the microsatellites are very informative and universal, the overall cost for research is
higher than for RAPD and AFLP. This is mostly due to the cost of the fluorescent dye which is
used in the PCR. To eliminate this, I will apply an interesting technique which allows for
incorporation of the dye by the forward primer into the product of polymerization thus saving a
considerable amount of the dye.
