This project report summarizes the design and fabrication of a mini bench saw. It was presented by five students and discusses the introduction of bench saws and their uses. The mini bench saw model uses an electric motor with a shaft to mount various blades. It has a frame bed with a cavity parallel to the blade for full cutting. Advantages include building adaptation skills and easily analyzing data in tables. Various types of bench saws are described like benchtop, jobsite, compact, and hybrid saws. Sample pictures are included and uses in different fields like circular saws and pruning saws are discussed.
