Google was used extensively for research and planning to view examples of other regional magazines and identify codes and conventions. Blogger allowed presentation of research and final coursework on an accessible platform. Wix was used to create a website to advertise the magazine, using templates and customization. A Panasonic Lumix camera took multiple photos with one shot for variety. Photoshop enabled editing of images without quality loss. YouTube tutorials helped learn Photoshop techniques like removing objects. Facebook Messenger received feedback by allowing contact with others.

and planning, and evaluation stage?

2. Google
I used Google a lot in my
research and planning stage to
look at examples of other
regional magazines.This allowed
me to find out the codes and
conventions of regional
magazines, and apply this to my
own.This made my research a
lot easier, and allowed me to
have a variety of different
magazines to look at and
compare.

3. Blogger
Blogger allowed me to present
my research and planning, and
my final coursework, on a
platform that was easy to
navigate. Blogger was easy to
use and it was useful as I could
put different posts in one
category by adding a 'label'. It
was accessible on a computer
and on a mobile, if I needed it.

4. Wix
Wix allowed me to create my
own website that advertised my
magazine.Wix was easy to
navigate and helped me to
create a sophisticated and
simple website, which was quick
and easy. I used templates that
were offered and then
customised it to my theme in my
magazine.

5. Camera
Despite only being able to get a hold
of a small camera within our media
department, the Panasonic Lumix LX7
did not disappoint me and it still
allowed me to take clear and good
images to use in my main task and
ancillary tasks. I was able to enable a
setting that took 3 pictures for me
while only taking one. It took one
square, landscape, and in a wide shot.
This allowed me to have a variety of
picture to choose from to use within in
my magazine.The camera also had an
SDCard slot so I could easily upload
the images onto the computer to use.

6. Photoshop
Photoshop allowed me to edit and
add to my images without
disrupting the quality of it. I was
able to use photoshop after
watching a few tutorials on how to
use the different features that it
has to offer. It was useful as it had
a wide range of tools to offer on
one program and made the
process of editing my photos
quicker. It allowed me to change
the brightness, contrast, and
shadows of my photos which
resulted in a professional image.

7. Youtube
Youtube helped me massively
when it came to using
photoshop. I researched tutorials
on how to edit out unnecessary
objects in my image and how to
use the patch tool effectively. It
helped me to photoshop an
image without any mistakes that
you could see.

8. Facebook Messenger
Facebook Messenger allowed
me to ask for other people's
opinions of my final piece. It
helped me to stay in contact with
everyone and connect with
others. It displays every message
that you receive in a clear and
methodical order and this is
useful as the messages do not
get mixed up or lost.
