Who would be the
audience for your
media product?
The audience for my media product
would be people aged between 18-
30 and both genders because I
haven't made my magazine sexist
and swayed it over to any specific
gender. I have included features in
my magazine that would appeal to
both male and female, for example;
including male DJs, female DJs and
events that would attract to both
genders.
House music as a whole, which is the
genre of music I chose, can appeal to
every age but because a lot of the
events advertised in the magazine are
18+, it makes sense that I target that
age and above.
My media product would
target general people that just
share the same taste in music
however they don’t have to be
from any specific social class.
They would probably dress in
high street clothes that are
affordable and accessible for
everybody because it is an
informal magazine.
Although my magazine is quite
expensive but it contains a lot
of information and exclusive
interviews with people therefore
it is an exclusive magazine. The
magazine is only distributed
annually every season therefore
it isn’t actually that expensive
and can relate to a whole
range of people of different
social class.
