2. Social Groups: Gender
There are various social groups which we represent in
our movie starting.
The social group used for Gender is represented by the
killer and the protagonist both being males. The victim
is female as she shows the innocents due to her being
a girl.
Another possible representation could be the killer
being a male. This is typical used in media to show
'male violence' as they are often stereotyped to be more
violent towards women.
3. Social Groups:
Relationships
Relationships are shown by the connection between
the siblings. The emotions shown by Tobias when he
saw his sister.
The relationship between criminals and the
investigators is also shown. This is done through us
showing the stereotype of investigators doing
interviews with criminals nowadays in prison and
police station.
4. Social Groups:Class
Class is shown by the clothes worn being very
casual, and as normal as possible. Also it's shown
by the locations used for the scenes in the movie
such as the alley, cheap policy station and the car
park.
5. Social Groups: Race
We used actors which look like they have similar
ethnicity to show their relationship being siblings,
looking very similar to each other.
Also we used actors which will go with the names of
the characters, suiting them well with their individual
persona.
