The student created a romantic drama film titled "Eternal Love" that both adopted conventions of the genre but also put their own spin on it. They began the story in a mysterious way and used unconventional locations like a graveyard to introduce the protagonist. The heroine was introduced using black and white, blurred imagery to convey a sense of memory. Effects like dissolves and zooms were used to enhance emotions. While inspired by films like "A Walk to Remember" and "Jab We Met", the student sought to develop their own theme and story.

, develop or challenge forms and conventions
of real media?
As I have been working on a “romantic
drama” genre , my major focus was on the
way the beginning of that kind of particular
movie genre conveys the theme. The title I
used for my movie is “Eternal Love” because
in order to attract your target audience
towards your movie name matters a lot. The
title of my movie attracts majorly ladies and
couples because it is made for them.

3.  I have adopted some elements from the
stereotypical way of romantic drama movies
but I’ve also given my own touch to it. Like
the beginning of my story is quite
mysterious. Then, locations which I’ve used
are a bit different. The movie which I was
inspired by was “ A walk to Remember“. I
really liked it’s idea and decided to carry on
with that idea , but what change I gave to
my movie was that I turned the ending of
that movie into the beginning of my movie
with some changes that brought an element
of mystery in the movie.

4. Costumes and locations have played a
significant part in the creation of this
video. Rather than choosing typical areas
such as cafeteria , houses , a bedroom
scene and etc , I chose a different way for
introducing my characters. The
protagonist enters from out of the frame
in the first scene and is wondering here
and there , then he went to a graveyard
and though he seems to be strong but an
expressi9on of sadness appears when he
goes and sit down near a grave.

5. Using effects such as dissolve and fade
out I introduced the heroine of my
movie in black and white and blurred
imagery to reflect a sense of memories.
This scene automatically clears that
he’s (protagonist) is thinking about
someone special –his lover !
I’ve also used zoom ins and extreme
zoom in shots to enhance the sense of
emotions.

6. This start somehow resembles to a
Bollywood hit movie “ Jab We Met “ as
well but the theme and story idea of my
movie is totally different from that.
