Evaluation How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
Combination - Introduction I have used combinations in my media product to make sure everything is tied in together and make sure the audience know that each product connects together to make one big brand. From looking at my products the target audience will realize that the products go together because they follow the same general scheme.
Combination One combination I did was to have the same theme running through the entire project.  My theme I selected after audience feedback was a girly theme because that fits with the music and goes with the genre of female teen pop singer. My CD Cover and Magazine advert has the same colours and fonts on to show that they combine and that they fit together as well as representing the same thing.  The colours I used were pink and light blue which are generally considered to be girly colours. They fit well with my music video because most of the music video is an outside setting which has really bright colours just like the cover and advert.
Combination Continued On my CD Cover I emphasized the title to make it stand out and to make the viewer curious as to whether they should consider buying the CD.  This would also make the audience want to check out the other products attached to the CD Cover like the magazine Advert and the Music video if they are interested in the cover and the theme.
Combination I aimed all three products at young female teens because they are the audience I wish to be targeting as well as these are the sort of products they generally like.  I combined all three products on the Magazine advertisement because I put the CD Cover on and I put information about when the music video is going to be released.  This combines them because they are all featured in one place and the audience can find out about all the products just by looking at one of them.
Combination - Conclusion Overall I think I have combined my products well and I think the combining of the products will attract my intended target audience. The combination of products also show that I have tied each product in well with each other therefore creating a great combination which will again attract the target audience and will let the audience know all 3 products tie in with each other.
