This document outlines how different media technologies will be used to answer questions about a music magazine case study project. Prezi will be used to compare conventions of real magazines, explain potential distributors, and reflect on lessons learned. PowToon will be used to represent social groups creatively with images and music. SlideShare will explain the targeted audience and include an InDesign press pack. Emaze will showcase audience feedback. Each technology is mapped to a specific evaluation question to showcase what was learned through constructing the media product.

2. Question 1:
In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge
forms and conventions of real media products?
 For question 1, I aim to use Prezi as it will enable me to compare images of
both my case studies, Kerrang! and NME, with my own music magazine
Rockefeller; to see whether I have either followed or developed or
challenged the conventions used.

3. Question 2:
How does your media product represent particular social groups?
 For question 2, I will consider using PowToon as it is a creative software
which would enable me to use music as well as images. This would make
my evaluation look much more professional and creative.

4. Question 3:
What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and
why?
 For question 3, I will use Prezi as I can clearly explain who might want to
distribute my music magazine. Using Prezi, would allow me to produce
boxes where I can display different media institutions and evaluate whether
they would create a gap in the market with my media product.

5. Question 4:
Who would be the audience for your media product?
 For this question, I would use slide share to explain what type of audience I
would target my media product at. As well as that, I would also use
InDesign to create a media kit/press pack, like other music magazines do,
and export it as a JPEG and insert it into my slide share presentation. The
press pack would include the gender ratio and the various percentages of
the different age groups who would be most likely to read Rockefeller.

6. Question 5:
How did you attract/address your audience?
 For this question, I will use Emaze as I can showcase the audience
feedback I had gotten from the class as their age group represents my
target audience.

7. Question 6:
What have you learnt about technologies from the process of
constructing this product?
 For question 6, I will use slideshare and each slide will consist of each of the
technologies I’ve used in order to construct my media product and
everything I’ve learnt about them.

8. Question 7:
Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have
learnt in the progression from it to the full product?
 For this question I will use Prezi as I can create different sections and in each
section, I can explain what I’ve learnt in the progressions from the
preliminary task to the final full product.
