Evaluation During this Unit I have, produced sketch ideas and developed on my planning skills in doing so, I have composed a mood board to get an idea on what I want my overall product to look like. I have made Photoshop and Illustrator version of both of the overall product to get different styles in the design. I have provided research for all of my findings, I have also completed tasks 1, 2 and 3. In these tasks, I give an overview of all the below. Task 1 - Pixels - Resolution - Raster, Vector, BMP, PNG, GIF, TIFF, JPEG, PSD, PDF, EPS, AI. - Compression - Image optimisation - Storage and Asset Task 2 - Photorealism - Cel shading - Abstraction - Abstraction in video games - Exaggeration Task 3 - Pixel Art - Concept Art - Texture Art - Background Graphics - Print Media Art How have I done it? I completed all of the above tasks by researching on the internet and creating a word document on my findings, I would also link in pages where I found the information from at the bottom of the page. I tried my best to complete the work to a good and easy to understand standard. What have I learnt? I have learnt a lot about Art design and games design types during the Unit, I have also learnt how to keep track on what I have and haven’t completed. I have also developed my skills in Photoshop and Illustrator as the character I originally created wasn’t up to my expectations again so once I improved my skills in the programs I remade them and made them look how I wanted. What would I improve? I wish that I completed my work sooner to do better improvements.
