The film represents several social groups: 1) Middle aged men, through the main character who is middle aged and has psychopathic tendencies, shown through his strange lines and slow pacing in introductory shots. 2) The male gender, as the main character is male and wears darker, more intimidating clothing perceived as masculine. 3) The female gender, through two other characters who are both female, wearing brighter, more colorful costumes appearing less threatening and feminine. 4) Adults, as the intended 15 rating suggests, through an older main character for audience to potentially relate to. 5) Children, through a child character shown playing on a playground.

2. Main Character
The main character within the film was a middle aged man with psychopathic
tendencies. Therefore this character is representing middle aged men and
psychopaths. To show this, the lines I made the actor playing the role say were
very strange. Also the pacing of the shots I used to introduce the character was
slow, this shows that the mind of the character is slower than a ‘normal’ person.

3. Gender
As the main character in my film is male, the male gender is represented within
my film. The character is wearing darker clothing to look more intimidating and to
be perceived as masculine.
The other two characters in my film are both female, so the female gender is also
represented. The costumes these characters are wearing bright, colourful clothing
showing them to be less threatening and more feminine.

4. Age
My film rating would be a 15 so the intended audience would be adults. Therefore
I have used an old character so maybe the audience can relate to them. However
I also have a child character that is seen playing on a playground. Therefore
children are also represented in my film.
