Our main film was a typical romantic comedy about two people brought back together by fate. To promote the film, we created a radio trailer and poster that maintained the romantic comedy theme. The radio trailer used the same background music and voice clips from the film to link them. The poster included photos of the actors and a quote to connect all three pieces. Research showed that effective advertising, like the poster for "The Ugly Truth", kept messages simple yet appealing. Overall, the ancillary texts meshed well with the film to effectively promote and sell the main product.
