WHO WOULD THE AUDIENCE BE
FOR YOUR MAGAZINE?
Age 15 - 25

The language I have used is specific to this age
range because it uses language that urban bound
teenagers and young adult would understand.

Flow meaning the sequence of tone that is
continuously kept when rapping in the UK Hip
  Hop style.
Gender – Mainly Male
The gangster style that comes with UK Hip Hop
is mainly appealing to males due to the
interest in money, sex and drugs.
In saying that, females have been known to
take part in rap battles such as Don’t Flop
which indicates an appeal to a small
   percentage of women.
In my magazine I have used aspects like
   smoking, skateboarding and urban style
   graffiti to attract this audience.
Class and Status
UK Hip Hop came from the American version of
Hip Hop which was originally founded in the
 ghetto parts of America
UK Hip Hop is literally the UK version of Hip
Hop and in the same way it appealed to the
working class end of the scale with middle
class teenagers taking part as well.

         The fact that a modern
         phone is included and the
         style of the clothing
suggests that he is in the
         middle class area of the
         scale.
