Secondary data consists of information collected by other researchers such as media reports, government data, and police records. It can be analyzed qualitatively to find correlations and patterns or quantitatively. Personal documents from individuals provide insights but have limitations as some are written long after events and may be biased depending on their intended audience. However, they also offer genuine perspectives and records of groups that would otherwise be unknown.
