A DSUR should be prepared after the first authorization of a clinical trial worldwide. A copy of the DSUR should be submitted to each concerned European Member State (MS) if a clinical trial is authorized in this MS for this investigational drug (still using the DIBD). Therefore, the first DSUR can be submitted to a concerned MS earlier than 1 year, but the covered reporting period should not be longer than 1 year.
The DSUR presents an annual review & evaluation of safety information:
• Information reported during the current review period and analysis based on previous knowledge of the products’ safety
• Description of new issues that may impact the overall program or specific clinical trials.

Sensor Fault Detection in IoT System Using Machine Learning
This document summarizes research on using machine learning techniques for sensor fault detection in IoT systems. The researchers collected temperature and humidity data from a DHT22 sensor and injected drift faults using an Arduino microcontroller. They extracted time-domain features from the normal and faulty signals and used them to train classifiers like artificial neural networks, support vector machines, naive Bayes, k-nearest neighbors, and decision trees. The trained models detected drift faults in the sensor output in real-time on an ESP8266 device. Support vector machines and artificial neural networks achieved the best performance based on accuracy, recall, F1-score metrics. Detecting Discontinuties in Large Scale Systems
The document proposes an automated approach to help analysts identify discontinuities in large-scale system performance data. The approach involves 4 steps: 1) data preparation to filter noise, 2) metric selection using PCA, 3) anomaly detection using quadratic modeling, and 4) discontinuity identification by comparing distributions using Cohen's D effect size. The approach was tested on synthetic, ecommerce, and industrial system data and achieved high accuracy in detecting discontinuities, which were verified by experts. However, limitations include difficulty distinguishing overlapping discontinuities and sensitivity to the effect size threshold.
