This job posting is for an Estimator/Assistant position. The duties include helping open and close the shop each day, organizing the workflow board, answering phones, handling customers, writing estimates, ordering parts, and attending relevant training classes. 1. ESTIMATOR / ASSISTANT
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Help open shop in the morning, move vehicles to day parking places.
Work with manager to organize work flow, schedule vehicles on work flow boards.
Answer phones, handle customers.
Work with other office employess and shop employees as needed.
Write estimates / damage reports for customers and insurance companies.
Work with different insurance companies, file handlers, estimators and reps.
Order parts and follow up, following company procedures and directions.
Help receive / check in parts, place parts in parts bins, following company procedures.
Attend training classes and achieve training certificates relevant to our industry.
Help put vehicles away inside the shop in evening, and help secure facility.
Assist manager in whatever is relevant to the company good and company future.
They must be:
Bilingual
Familiar + comfortable with computers, typing, etc.
Clean driving record.
Bondable.
Trainable, with a good attitude, able to listen + follow directions.
Able to work with people.
Dresses in a decent, professional, presentable manner.
Wants a long-term position, not "just a job"
Show up on time, no excuses.
No smoking allowed.
Drug free.
Benefits:
After 90 days: paid holidays as follows: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; 4th of July; Labor Day;
Thanksgiving and Christmas - must work day before and day after to be paid for that holiday. After 1
full year of employment: 1 week's paid vacation. Begin sharing in company profit sharing plan, 1
share for each year employed can participate in retirement plan, Rising Star matches up to certain %.
